Recommended a low cost self repair - saved me thousands another contractor wanted to charge.

The crew arrived promptly, were very polite and cordial. They explained what they were going to do before they started and then showed me after they were done. After they left, and once we had water on the driveway, I called to express my concern about one area. They immediately sent someone out to evaluate the situation. They agreed that a minor adjustment was called for. After a second visit by the job foreman (Ian) the problem was taken care of quickly and easily. Before leaving he offered to come back if I still had concerns. Coincidentally, we had a major storm later that afternoon and I was happy to see that the fix had worked. A job well done.

I won't give names, but I imagine you'd get the same results from anyone who came out. Everything sounded like a script. He looked at the damage and confirmed it was from water, but had no way of knowing how old the damage was or when it occurred. He kept mentioning you want to prevent all water from entering your home. Then he started his sales pitch, even though I had told him I didn't plan on a major investment. He had a great powerpoint presentation and samples of all of the products he was trying to sell. In spite of the minor nature of the problem, he would only recommend their top of the line system. After all of the bells and whistles were added, he was planning on tearing up the concrete slab around the inside of the basement foundation and installing their high tech water collection system. Then of course the basement walls would have to be sealed off by their water barrier and a sump pump with triple redundant systems would be needed. All totaled it was more than $20,000.00 to address a non issue. I have never found water in my basement, I only found old damaged wood against the concrete block foundation. It seemed to me like going to the doctor for a sore knee, and the doctor recommending a total knee replacement. Over the next 2 days I had 2 other estimates, one from B-Dry and a do it yourself-er. Both listened to me and didn't try and sell a complex system. B-Dry said they could do the same system for about half the price. But since the problem was minor, they only recommended sealing the concrete and adding a vapor barrier (the original do it yourself-er didn't do either). The sales person was nice and informative, but didn't listen to what I wanted at all, all he wanted to do was get me to buy their Cadillac system that I didn't even need. I've seen high pressure salesmen, but he had all of the usual tricks, discounts for purchasing today, long term financing. etc.

Great! No problems, no upsell. Everything went smoothly.

Driveway: Excellent! Paver walk: Prevented further slippage of elevated portion, but could not return a large section to its proper position.

The rep was extremely thorough, spending over an hour examining my house, and describing solutions to both the apparent problems, and the underlying water issues causing them. Installed a total of 5 piers, realigned the chimney, and several hard-pipe buried downspout extensions. The work team was very efficient, described everything they were doing, thoughtful (eg, offered an option which avoided the initial plan to dig up/under a sidewalk), and professional. It was not the least expensive bid, but far and away the most detailed.

They were very professional. Insurance would not pay for it but they took their time to see if it would. They sent several guys and an engineer out. For what they did it was very good. They would take the time and speak to you.

Starting with the initial visit to provide the quote through to the performance of the service, the company provided very professional people, who called before showing up (a nice reminder if nothing else), sent info on who would be showing up (incl pictures) and a good booklet explaining their processes, and behaved in a very professional manner. Everything was explained up front, and they encouraged any questions. Everyone was prompt in their arrival. The results were great, and at a very reasonable price (compared to some other quotes I received.) I would use them again.

It was very expensive. They quality was a mixed bag. I think the end product is fine, but in the process of doing it, they did a lot of damage for which they never came back and fixed it, so we had to higher someone to come fix it. We never got anyone to return our phone calls when we called to tell them they ruined our duct work and stuff. It was really not very pleasant at the end. During the process they were very nice. The end product was good. They could of returned our calls and repaired the damage they did.

OK.....not exactly what i expected.

This process was excellent from start to finish. Our salesperson, Matt Volk, was terrific. He explained the job to me, made sure everything was easily understood, and walked me through the entire process. He was a true professional. The install crew of George, Audiel, and Dane did a wonderful job installing the vapor barrier and dehumidifier in our crawlspace. they were efficient and professional and made sure i was completely satisfied before they left. It was incredible to see the change our SmartJack made in the kitchen!

Found out the leakage in our basement was due to the 21-year old HVAC, not a basement wall or floor leakage. Of course, found this out after Aquaguard installed their unit and we had water leakage again in the same spot. Disappointed that Aquaguard (as the self-proclaimed southeastern expert) couldn't figure out that it could've been the HVAC causing the leak since it was only one foot away from the water spot on the floor. A waste of money. Otherwise, I assume the installation was fine.

I was amazed how quickly they raised the driveway to meet the edge of the garage foundation. Then with great skill they continued to level the driveway till the cracks came together equalizing the height of both side of the crack. They dremeled out the cracks and put in some kind of caulking to prevent water from getting under the driveway. The side walk proved to be a greater challenge due to poor construction techniques of the original contractor. The thickness of the cement used to make the side walk varied from 4-5 inches to 12-15 inches. This made it very difficult to cut through the concreate, drill holes and apply their compression foam in a controllable way. Here is where I saw how much knowledge and skill came into play. The side walk was now over 6 inches from the edge of the driveway after they raised the driveway plus it had a big dip in the middle. After many skillful hours of very hard work they were able to raise and level the side walk. These guys know their stuff. If they say they can fix your foundation problem I'm am sure they can. The guys who performed the work were very professional throughout the process. Other companies were quoting many thousands of dollars to remove and replace the concrete. AquaGuard was definitely a better choice. I would highly recommend this company. Richard Alexandersen

We didn't use them. They were horrible and their estimate and everything that they said they needed to do was almost $10,000. Another company did the same thing for less. They were arrogant. I wouldn't recommend them.

I was very pleased with working with them. They did an excellent job on the entire job. They were very polite, helpful, and professional. They had to do some replacement on cosmetic items. They did great on that as well.

No show - no communication. Lousy company - apparently disorganized and unprofessional. Wasted my time off of work.

It went okay. They installed a gravity drain but the exit line is pointed up so the water has trouble draining. The sump pump exit line has a make shift support which is being held up by a bucket. To top it off they didn't use the correct concrete to seal over the perimeter drains. It actually cracked when my contractor was nailing the studs back into the floor (after several week of the waterproofing being completed). They seem highly overpriced and I would not recommend them to anyone in the future.

Representative Russell was excellent explaining exactly what could be done, how it would be done, and what I could expect. He was very thorough. The crew Eric & Rafael were wonderful! Upon arrival they walked all of the areas they would be working on and they clearly explained exactly what they would be doing & what I could expect. They were very professional & courteous answering all of my questions. The outcome was better than I could have imagined! I'm so glad we had this work done as it has really improved our property and eliminated the tripping hazards we have been dealing with. Excellent work!! Everything was swept up and blown off leaving no clean-up for me! Although we had our drive & sidewalk "jacked" up twice before, it was ultimately unsuccessful & fell even further. Once I met with rep Russell, it seemed this product was exactly what we needed. I am very happy with their work.

TERRIBLE!!!! We had Will from aquaquard come out for an assessment of our foundation. We were going to do a total remodel of our home. We had some major settling issues and knew we could not invest hundreds of thousands of dollars in the work without first addressing the foundation. Will appeared to be extremely knowledgeable and experienced. He told us what we needed to make our foundation structurally sound before beginning renovations. After the crew dug the footings my husband went under our house to see what they had done. It was noted at that point there were not enough footings to support the house. We called Will from aquaquard who came back out to reevaluate the situation. It was then the situation began to deteriorate. More footings needed to be installed but would cost thousands of dollars more!!! I had serious concerns that this was a bait and switch scenerio. We were assured that was not the case and given a 10% discount. Folks, at this point we were into this about 20,000 dollars. Aquardguad returned with their cement truck to pour the footings. They did not finish until 11:00 pm. One of the workers asked if they could wash out their cement truck . I agreed as long as they dumped the debris in the woods away from the driveway.Well the next day we went outside and our asphalt driveway had concert dumped all the way down it. Our driveway is long. It was a mess!!! In addition, they had dumped large piles of concrete beside the driveway in three different areas. Once again we called Will with aquaquard . We took pictures and sent those to him. He said someone would be out to clean up the mess. Two weeks later a worker showed up with a pressure washer and tried to remove concrete that had been sitting on the driveway for two weeks. We withheld $2,000 of our final payment. I wished it would have been more. We have to pay to reseal the driveway. It gets worse. When construction on our home began a structural engineer came out per the contractors request and said the foundation still needed more supports another $15-$20 thousand dollars of foundation work from the contractor!! We never heard another word from aquaquard about our driveway or the money we withheld. Writing about our experience brings back painful memories. I wonder if I can sue aquaquard for PTSD? In retrospect we would have been better off letting the contractor do the work. He utilized a structural engineer and fixed the foundation.

Representative showed up on time, very professional but attempted to sell me a full system with all of their bells and whistles on it. I already have two sump pumps and what he was trying to sell me was everything the company did which was beyond overkill for my small issue. Their quote was more than double with all the other companies quotes coming in around $4,000 versus their $12,000.

The man who gave the estimate was very professional. But it will not stop the water problem. The water is a combination of ground water and a city water leak. His solution did not address the source of the problem; it only addressed getting rid of the water after it entered the building. I want to stop or at least minimize the problem at its source, so I did not have them do the work. If I cannot stop the water from entering, I may go back and use his solution.

They arrived on time. It took one entire day with 2 people working. They cleaned up their mess before leaving. Very satisfied with the results. No water at all.

The estimator was very thorough and not only answered my questions but provided help with associated contractors needed to finish the job. I will most likely use this company. With a 5 year warranty, I feel like it is a very good value.
