l Although it took a while to get someone out to give me an estimate, when the work was finally done it was done in a punctual and professional manner. Matt and Eric dove right in and went to work filling in the void under the driveway and bringing it back up to level again. I did have an issue with lack of communication with the salesman but was satisfied after talking my problem over with the General Manager. I would use this company again, if needed. I appreciated their 2 year warranty on their worlk.

Didn't provide multiple estimates. Estimate was for solution that probably wouldn't have worked and was unnecessarily high. Classic upsell.

I got a quote from this company to fix a basement leak. Their price was $895, almost 3 times what I paid for the same job from another company I got to do the work. In addition, they could not make it out here for 4-6 weeks. They said the reason is that they like to schedule a full day of calls in each area before sending anyone, and had a very devil may care attitude about my leak. (I'm in Cumming.) Ridiculous. I got another company to do the work in a couple business days, at a third of the cost. Followup: Tom the owner called me and discussed my review. He assured me that they do not schedule by area, only by backlog, and that the person I spoke with was mistaken about that. He discussed some differences in how they repair vs how my repair was done, and asked me to reconsider them in the future if need be. I will probably give them another chance if I have another problem, but will also get other estimates of cost and availability before hiring anyone.

We recently removed a paved area in our backyard. After the next heavy rainstorm, water seeped into our basement. Our landscape architect connected us with AquaGuard diagnosed the problem, provided a detailed quote, and we got on their schedule. They installed a sealed barrier around the basement perimeter as well as a sump pump in our basement floor which will pump out any water that collects under the barrier. The work is guaranteed and is transferable to the next homeowner if we ever sell. Everyone we worked with (salesperson, office folks on phone, installation crew, and follow-up visit) was professional and courteous. I gave the "price" an "a" because I did not get a quote from another company. It is expensive, but worth the peace of mind in my opinion. My only negative experience?and the reason for the "b" grade under "responsiveness"?was corrected. The installation lead said he would come back to test the seal, but I didn't hear back from them. We were busy and traveling, so I hadn't contacted them. After the next heavy rain, we had a very small amount of water seep in at one edge of the waterproofing system. I do not know if this could have been avoided with testing. I reported the issue and someone came out and fixed the problem at no charge. Despite the one small hiccup, I would totally recommend AquaGuard.

They were prompt for the appointment and they reacted really quickly since I was selling the house. They were able to come by when I was not there. They followed up well after the work was done to make sure I was satisfied.

It went better than expected; in a word, excellent. The Basement Waterproofing System Design Specialist, Scott: Inspected basement and problem. Recommended a solution and explained it in detail - twice (I'm a slow learner). Provided a detailed, printed and signed estimate over a cup of coffee at our kitchen table. Agreed to a certain date and time to commence the work. Went over my responsibilities (e.g., be home, clear space for workmen, etc.) Gave me his cellphone number and told me to call me if there were any problems at all. It was obvious that Scott knew what he was doing, that his recommendation was based on years of experience and excellent training. I didn't feel as if I were being rushed into anything. No horror pictures of "what will happen if you don't choose us and don't get this done right now". I felt as if I were talking to a neighbor who had experience with this type of problem. The Installation Technicians: (They were VERY experienced and professional) Arrived at the agree upon date and time. Swept basement. Installed heavy duty plastic sheeting to protect foodstuffs etc. in the basement, and to suppress and contain dust associated with digging the trench around the perimeter of our basement. Insured that HVAC was off for a little while while they jackhammered a trench around the inside perimeter of the basement. Clint and Fabian really went out of their way to protect our belongings. We expected at least some dust to drift upstairs, but there was none. My wife was very happy about that. Cleaned out ALL debris, then washed down the edges of the trench to ensure good cementitious adhesion. Installed the AquaGuard drainage system, which included the water transport system, a vapor barrier, a sump pump, exterior drainage (they really took extra care of my lawn), new cement covering the system, swept basement again, left everything cleaner than before they started. They were friendly but professional. They had both been in this business with AquaGuard a long time. It was obvious that they knew what they were doing. Bottom line: If my Mom was having a basement or foundation problem, I would recommend to her that she use AquaGuard. Experienced. Honest. Reliable. Value. .

Way out of line for cost. Took three times as long for the inspection and pricing since there was a lot of selling, computer programs that didn't work,and collateral material to go through. Probably works fine, but I'll be using someone else

The young salesperson was not responsive to the questions we asked, wising only to show us Aqua Guard system. They were the last company we interviewed and even when we told him we didn't want to see "videos" he kept going back to them. It was not a pleasant experience. The price estimate was also much higher than most of the others, and they have since offered to give us a deal, reducing the cost. They should have started out at a lower figure in the beginning.

The sales rep was very professional. We were able to to come down on the price a bit. It was expensive but, you get what you pay for. The installation team were quick, professional, and did an excellent job. They installed plates in the wall to suck up the caving wall, and it worked and looks great. The services come with a transferable lifetime warranty. I was extremely pleased with the whole process from estimate to installation. I would use aqua guard again and highly recommend them to others.

I am honored to write this review for AquaGuard and specifically Paul Ruschmeyer. Honesty, integrity and reliability are the most important components to any business. AquaGuard has all three and more. Respectful , courteous and dependable are also simple basic components that sadly many companies these days lack. Without one, companies fail. Due my work schedule they weren?t able to meet with me right away but were really good at working with me on finding a good day to come. While I waited for my appointment they sent me information in the mail that was extremely helpful to use as a reference as to what to expect when they inspect the house. Paul arrived on time and was very professional and very friendly. I felt as ease right away. He did a thorough inspection and was able to determine that my foundation was sound. He answered all my questions and looked at all my concerns. He was honest as to what the real problems were. He didn?t try to pressure me into services that were not needed. His extensive training and educational background helped him explain what the real concerns were with my house. They were more cosmetic, not foundational. I walked him through the entire house pointing out things and he patiently explained in great detail what work needed to be done. He could?ve easily misled me without me knowing it since I have no background in structural engineering, but he didn?t. Instead he showed me step by step why he determined my house?s foundation was just fine and how to find a good handyman to help me with my problems. My mind was at ease by the end of his assessment. If given the opportunity to request a specific engineer, I would highly suggest asking for Paul Ruschmeyer. He?s as honest as they come. ~Lisa Poirier

The guy that showed up was very professional. He was obviously a sales guy and not the installer. He looked over the problems, and then presented a bunch of slick marketing materials. He followed up that same day with a proposal that included "good/better/ best". I had received two other estimates that were the same service as the "good" (seal the cracks), but AquaGuards price was almost 3x the prices received from other providers. The "better" and "best" options involved pretty major trenching work, work that both of the other estimates said was totally unnecessary. I opted to go with another provider. AquaGuard then followed up, and offered to lower their price to match another estimate (which pretty much shoots their integrity out of the water in my opinion). Their sales guy was very professional. But I give them no more than a B for professionalism because of the "we'll drop our price by 2/3rds" sales tactic. You know what they say...there's one born every day...

Aquaguard would not return my call when I had problems with their subcontractor Doug Reese of Reese Construction. . Doug Reese receives so much work from AquaGuard he does not have to advertise. On Doug Reese' website reeseconstructioncompany(Dot)com you can view a video from a local news consumer advocate Trust Dale. On the video, the president of AquaGuard introduces his partner Doug Reese. I will never use trustdale.com or aquaguard. It was a really good experience. The guy was here for over an hour. He sat down with me and drew up some plans to show us how to protect our crawl space and increase ventilation. He took the time to really explain things to me so we’ll know what we’re getting into. They sent a really good follow up email too, including the photos they took in the crawl space. They really made the whole process consumer friendly. I’m waiting for my husband to come back so we can discuss the work that needs to be done, but I sense that if I do the work with them, it will be done right.

The estimate went well, but the price was way too high. Good company, but with their national ads and overhead, probably one reason they are much higher.

They estimated over $17,000, which was very expensive. I do not think that this job was needed. They would not listen to my opinion. All I wanted repaired was a floor joist and they were hard selling the crawlspace encapsulation.

We had Aquaguard install a sump pump with a battery back up several years ago. They did a great job with the installation and where very timely and courteous. Now every year we have them service our pump and replace any bad parts. I would highly recommend using aquaguard for your sump pump needs.

Great experience - Everyone from the salesman to the work crew were extremely professional and we would definitely use them again.

On time professionals. Answered any question we had . System works great! We have had 26 inches of rain since install with no water or mildew in our basement !

I copied this from the invoice: Pressure inject (!) 7' crack with hydro-active resin to prevent water intrusion. Seal injection with an epoxy surface seal./ Type of wall: Poured concrete 5-year warranty. We have been very pleased with the work performed. There have been no more leaks. However, we, recently, discovered a leak in one of the rooms in basement. It looks like it is from the foundation. We've had lots of rain. We will be calling AquaGuard soon for an estimate, and, probably repairs.

They were very punctual and preformed job without any problems. They cleaned up any messes that were made and were very nice. We were also told that they would come back if any adjustments needed to be made, free of charge. We would use them again.

They never got back with me to come out and see the job.
