Bree was the first person who responded to my request from Angi 6/1 When I spoke to the provider I told him I have paid several plumbers to unclog my drains no one has been able to correctly do the job. I explained the water drains out very slowly from kitchen sink, bathroom #1 sink and bathroom tub. Also I want the drain pipes to be scoped so he can see what is the issue with the drain pipe. I was told that can be done. I explained the house is vacant and I gave him access code to enter the house. Friday 6/2 First plumber went to the house called me and said “to do the unclogging you will have to pay $450 for each area”. I asked do you mean I have to pay $450 for the kitchen sink, $450 for the bathroom sink and $450 for the bathroom tub? He said “Yes” I told him NO I will not pay He also said he didn’t have a scope/camera equipment, but he’ll call back to the office and let them know to send someone who does. The office manager called she wasn’t knowledgeable about what I was talking about but she will have someone who is knowledgeable to call me back. Edin Alajbegovic said he has someone who will scope video for an extra $200 and unclog the drains $450 for a total of $650, but I must pay half of the amount for them start the job. I requested an invoice/estimate for the work. I made a good faith effort and sent $400 through Zelle on Saturday 6/3. Saturday 6/3, second plumber went out to the house. This is just some of the conversation. I was informed the work was complete to please send the balance of $250.00. I reminded him that I have not received video from the scoping. so I received a couple of pictures on Monday 6/5 sent a 4 second video of my septic tank clean out, clearly this is not what I requested.which I told him. I reminded him about the scope/camera video. I then told him not to call I would prefer email or text. I realized things were going wrong. Previously I had asked about work guarantee Rachel had told me to ask the technician about that. This was emailed to me on 6/3. I emailed this question to her was: ”if I’m paying you why should I ask the technician. No answer. Several people have called and emailed to have me pay them $250. I explained to them that $50 balance was paid but I WILL NOT PAY THEM THE OTHER $200 for a service I was told by the last person I spoke I asked them to make an appointment for 7/12/2023. I emailed again and told him I will pay $200 when they come out and scope on 7/12. He did not responded or confirmed this appointments. I have all the text and emails correspondence if you need them. It seems to me, my opinion, he thinks I don’t know what I’m talking about. Again at this point I just want a refund of my $450.00. I don’t know what type of unscrupulous business they are doing. I used Angi just to avoid these types of businesses. Also, I did pay someone I use to work with to go to the house to turn on and let the water in the kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and bathtub and send me the video. This is how I know they did not unclog the drains.

They were excellent. They were there when they said they're gonna be there. They provided me everything. They made me very happy and they're very sensitive to my landscape and my property.

The Technician, Emit installed 2 water heaters for our office. He was professional, friendly, efficient, and completed it for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this company. Thank you American Rooter Services.

Fantastic. Felix was extremely knowledgeable. Knew exactly what would be needed (custom pipes/parts and coupling that will certainly work in super high water pressure situation as this work was for coupling to the city/county water main line) and provided a fair estimate. He set the expectations accordingly. Talked about their quality of work and the warranty of the service. We were convinced / asked him to go ahead with the repair. Came back at the exact time he said he will be back with the parts needed. Completed the work / tested everything out, assured of the service , sent pictures of completed work for records... Did I mention this was all on a Sunday at 6pm. Truly professional experience.

I used Angie's List and this company come up. 2 companies came out to give me quotes, and I chose American Rooter. Tony was absolutely awesome! I normally do not keep advertisements to put on the refrigerator, but this one is staying. If i ever have anything else in the future, I will be calling Tony 1st. Keep up the great work! I have had the pleasure of American Rooter Services conducting work at my residence several times. They installed my natural gas line, water pressure regulator, overflow tank on water heater, all my shower and bath valves, washer and dryer hook ups, all the toilets, and I'm sure there are a couple other things too. Oh yeah, the ceiling falling down caused by one of those valves.... needless to say, I've had the opportunity to get to know the type of person Tony is, hard working, honest, dependable, and truly reasonably priced! I was waiting until we where done with what I think is all the work needed before reviewing, but I just didn't want to forget. If you just don't know who to trust with you plumbing needs, I hope my words will convince you to give them a call. THANK YOU TONY!

He's a fantastic plumber, he did a fantastic job, I would highly recommend him to other people.

He did great work he was careful to explain what was happening and how he was going to take care of it, and charged a reasonable amount of money.

Valentin was phenomenal. He showed up on time and listened when I was explaining what was wrong. He walked me through the steps he was going to take to resolve the problem and addressed it in less than one hour. I’d definitely hire American Rooter Services again!

They were able to come out same day and fixed with coupling. Valentine came out and was able to do it in less than an hour.

Absolutely Terrible - the plumber was in a hurry and very rude and dismissive. Did not take the time to listen where the leak was and misdiagnosed where it was coming from. Did not go to the area I told him the leak may have been in and replaced a sink pop up while the leak was in a wall pipe despite me telling him that what I thought he “repaired” was not the problem. Again, I am not a plumber, but should have listened to me and instead he duped me for $239. Disappointing recommendation from Angie’s List and will likely not be using them in the future. The next guy I called spent 3 times the amount of time and actually cut through the wall and showed where the leak was and what he did to repair this and charged me $230 for the entire repair. Val was great to work with and fixed all of my issues with a great attitude. He came out to give me an estimate and told me I would be calling him back after I finished getting my other estimates. He was so right so he came back a couple of days later to complete my job. He was patient and really wanted me to know how each item worked so I was informed. I will be using him for all of my future needs and will be letting everyone know to use him also.

Last week, we discovered a major water leak in the pipe from the water meter to the house. I immediately called a large plumbing company (the first name that pops up in your mind when you are confronted with this situation). They were only able to give me an appointment three days from that day at 1 PM. On the appointment day, no one showed up at 1 PM. I waited until 4 PM; still no plumber or call from the company. Having lost my patience, I called the company and asked when the plumber would be at my house. The person who answered the phone told me that he did not have any information on why the plumber did not show up. Also, he could not tell me when the plumber would come because the dispatch was done from Chicago. Frustrated and angry, I told him to cancel the appointment. The next morning, I looked through Angie’s List and found American Rooter Services; they had very good reviews for jobs similar to mine. I called American Rooter Services and explained my problem. They promised to send a plumber by 3 PM. Paul from American Rooter Services showed up at my door at 2 PM on that day. After reviewing the situation, Paul told me that my best option was to run a new water line from the meter to the house. He gave me a quote which I accepted. He started work immediately. I had to pay the entire amount in advance to the company. Paul worked till 7:30 PM that evening and was able to provide me a temporary new water line to the house. He promised to come the next day and finish the work. However, it started raining heavily the next morning. Paul called and told me that it was not possible to dig the ground and lay the new pipe during the rain; he would come on Monday. Paul showed up on Sunday afternoon and asked if it would be OK for him to complete the work. He worked until 8 PM and completed the installation of a new water line. Paul is very knowledgeable, conscientious, and meticulous in his work. He puts the customer at ease. If you are faced with a similar problem, I strongly suggest that you call American Rooter Services.

I am very happy with American rooter Services they came and fixed my shower valve without cutting or break any tiles. I had two companys come over and both sayed that they needed to cut the ceiling or break my tiles. Thank you American rooter Services. I will know from what company to choose from next.

These guys (American Rooter Service) gave me a price up front & stuck with that price. Fair price, hard work & communication through out, can’t ask for any more than that. Oh; and they cleaned up in the way out. I will hire these guys again, with out hesitation.

I contacted American Rooter service to perform a repair on my leaking water heater. The company sent out Tony who was able to diagnose the problem as a faulty pressure regulator quickly. Tony was able to professionally replace the faulty pressure regulator the same day. His work was through and quick. After the repair, Tony left me his contact information in order to contact him if anything were to go wrong.
