When I called AEM, I spoke to Jennelle and she made my appointment and told me that Arnoldo would come out and give the quote. Arnoldo came out was on time and very friendly. He took measurements and gave me some ideas for the projects I was planning. I was told I would get my quote via email within a few days. I got it back in 2 days. They followed up with me after they sent out the quotes. When I scheduled the job Arnoldo was able to come out on the day I needed. The project took 3 days. (I had gotten SEVERAL other quotes and AEM was the best price for the work I wanted done when compared to the others) On the start day Arnoldo and team arrived on time. I still was undecided with paint colors and he got a several samples and put them on the wall. We didnt end up using our original colors. We chose the colors Arnoldo suggested.(which are on the wall now and we LOVE! ) When Arnoldo came out for the quote he mentioned that the trim around the windows would have a small gap because of our window sills. I was going to suggest maybe they could cut the trim to fit around it. But , after I opened the door and we greeted each other, the very 1st thing he said to me was that he was going to replace the window sills at no additional cost so there would not be a gap and his reason was because he does not like to do bad work and it is true! the trim and my new window sills looks GREAT! There was extra crown molding and Arnoldo put it up on the ceiling of the upstairs landing. When I saw the crown molding and the trim around the windows I asked that he add more crown molding to areas I didnt think I wanted it. Day 1 was the crown molding and trim around window. When the day was over they cleaned up and asked if I wanted my furniture moved back to the original place but I said no leave it as is. The following day was the 1st day of painting and sanding. I had to be at work very early but he put up a lock box with my key so they could let themselves in. When I came home that evening I was very impressed with what they did and my color choices. (My walls are textured with very sharp edges. My husband and I had sanded them down in the living/dining room and half bath then realized it was a very messy job and time consuming. And we did not want to do the rest ourselves.) Day 2, Arnoldo and team had to sand down the stairway walls to remove the sharpe edges and paint the living/dining room and half bath and paint the stairway walls and repair water damage on ceiling of upstairs landing and patch a hole behind the front door. Also in the half bath add some texture to match the existing texture where we removed some things off the wall which left flat patches. Also, Arnoldo sent me a picture text after the 1st coat of paint went up. When I arrived home they were cleaning up for the day. I looked around and was very pleased with the progress. After Arnoldo was gone I noticed a few things I wanted to make sure would be touched up on the following day and I wanted more trim to be added. I left notes on areas I wanted to be addressed. Since I was not going to be home when they arrived. Day 3, The team arrived very early ( I was at work) My husband let them in then he went to work and they finished the painting and addressed the areas I had tagged. When I got home that evening I was so impressed with everything! I loved my colors and the work that was done. My furniture was put back to the original place. I mentioned to Arnoldo that I was getting new flooring and that some of the paint might need touch ups and he said that they will come back to do the touch ups. My husband and I are so happy with the work, our only regret is not getting the whole house done at once. But, with time we will get the rest done. And I plan on using AEM! My Experience with AEM was a good one and I will and am recommending my friends to him. I think Arnold was honest, friendly and respected my time and was reasonably priced for the work I needed done. He was very easy to work with and gave great suggestions and recommendations.

I had a wonderful experience with AEM. Arnoldo was great at organizing the project and making sure that I was happy with every detail. They repaired all wood rot as promised and did a great job painting. The house looks fantastic! Overall very pleased - great job for a great price!

Had to call twice to get them to call back. Late for appt for estimate. I had to call to find out where they were. 2 calls (left messages) asking when I would get my estimate. 2 weeks later. No response. AT ALL

They were great! Showed up on time finished on time. Had no problems. After the job was done, they said they would come back and touch up any areas that were needed. They explained to me that after you paint you will find more problems that were not visible prior to painting. We painted and still didn't really find any issues. There were a couple spots here and there, but just a quick hand sanding or extra brush of paint would fix it and was not worth having them come out to fix it. The only thing I did have them come out to do was in the bathroom one of the studs was not straight and when the tile was installed you could easily see it. They came out and had that fixed quickly. I'm not sure how they did it but it was straight and looked better than i expected since it was more complicated (there is more to it, but hard to explain as i had built a conventional ceiling for the purpose of lighting). But everything went really well and i would absolutely call them again if i need anything else.

I spent some time with the owner explaining what I needed done. He suggested a couple changes which either made for a better result or saved me money or both. He gave me a breakdown of costs, and started work. When I changed my mind on a couple items during the work, he worked the changes into the job, and he added several enhancements at no charge. He was easy to contact, communicated well so that I knew the status of the job all the way, did a really nice job, and finished when he said he would. He is insured, carries workman's comp insurance, and has a contractors license. I would hire him again, and highly recommend AEM.

We recently completed a bathroom remodel. We did most of the work ourselves but found we needed someone to do some drywall finishing immediately to stay in schedule. Arnoldo was able to get us someone right away. The work was excellent at a really good price. The installer was right on time and was professional and very pleasant. Arnoldo checked in periodically both in person and with followup calls to make sure I was satisfied. I couldn't be happier with them and will absolutely use them again.

We could not be happier with the service we were provided. Arnoldo was great. He orchestrated the entire job. The work was done on time and with care. The workers are professional, skilled craftsmanship. A great value! I highly recommend their service.

All the work was performed at a professional pace. The best thing to me was the clean-up. If anyone has had experience with drywall you know how the dust gets everywhere. These guys covered everything before starting, and cleaned everything when finished. Great job!

This is the second time that I have used AEM, first in November 2010 for some repairs in my basement. They did a great job, so when we decided to remodel our kitchen down to the studs we called them again to do our walls. Once again they lived up to all of our expections.
