Description of Work: I am very happy with the quality of work I received from Schwartz Residential Roofing and the professional way all the company representatives handled everything from start to finish of the roof replacement. Wendell, Nick, Joe and Paula and the whole crew were great I highly recommend Schwartz Residential roofing and I' m planning on using them again soon for Installing Gutters.

Description of Work: From start @ 7am until 630pm it was go go go! Next morning @ 7am work began and continued until 1230pm it was go go go until the job was completed! They stripped the old roof shingles off, then replaced with new shingles. The job was completed as the contractor said it would. I am very satified |with the shingles and workmanship. The only down side was the price was the highest of the six bid that I recevied but it also had the longest warranty |

Description of Work: Work involved repairing a leak at an eave, installing leak barrier (drip edge)along entire house where gutters were installed, installing new shingles to match as closely as possible, replacing & painting soffit section rotted by leak, and cleaning up after job was complete. Contractor has been in the commercial roofing business for over 100 years and in the residential business for a number of years. They have an excellent reputation and this is why I selected them, even though the price seemed somewhat high for the work involved. They apparently did an excellent job, but time will be the actual judge. My only complaint was the lack of communication they provided. They responded immediately with a quote. I had given them the go-ahead on the work in March, but I didn't hear from them again until June when I called to see if I was on their schedule yet. I was also not informed that more than one subcontractor crew would be performing the work. When the first crew showed up to do only part of the work, they knew nothing about the rest of the quoted work or who would be performing it. After the initial confusion and some phone calls by them and myself this was sorted out. A little advance communication and explanation by the Schwartz managers/supervisors would have helped greatly. Because of their otherwise excellent history in Macon I would use them again, but would know to push for the communication and information lacking this time.

Description of Work: Provided repairs caused or overlooked by siding installation. Repaired several problems without damaging new siding and soffit (water was pouring out a section of soffit like a waterfall when it rained). Couldn't ask for a better match of new & old shingle colors.

+ -1 moreMr. Brewton was punctual on arriving at my home. He was professional looking and listened carefully as I explained what the requirements of my roofing project were. Although he took no measurements, he clearly explained all work he planned to perform. I had obtained a total of six estimates for my roofing project. I discarded the lowest estimate as well as the three very high estimates. Mr. Brewton's final cost estimate was one of the two middle of the pack estimates I was considering. I passed on his offer because I was uncomfortable about not seeing measurements taken coupled with the fact that company's warranty was a little less 10 year verses 12 year.
Description of Work: Mr. Brewton provided an estimate for my roofing project. 1. Remove existing roof covering, repair all damaged areas and install architect style shingles, drip edges, and new ridge vents.. 2. Remove existing wood soffit and repair all damaged soffit and fascia areas. Install vinyl soffit panels and wrap fascia and freize boards with vinyl clad metal. 3. Remove existing gutters and downspouts. Install new 6 inch prefinished gutters and new downspouts.

+ -1 moreTheir guy was great. No complaints. We didn’t actually end up using them. He showed up on time. He was professional to many problems. He has pretty good knowledge in his product and information on his product as well. No complaints about him we just got a better deal elsewhere and honestly we've been planning on staying on the house for 30 years if I were gone with them but we really didn’t meet as high of the quality as he was offered.
Description of Work: We used Schwartz Residential Roofing for a roofing service quote. They came for the quote and the quote include if they get the job was for re-roof densely placed on top and that includes flat roof as well it’s not entirely asphalt roll on.

This was a certified Master Elite Contractor and I choose the "Premium Option" which includes the GAF golden pledge 25 yr warranty on workmanship and lifetime material warranty as recommended by Consumer Reports. Very pleased. Highly recommend.

+ -1 moreTheir quote gave me 3 options. I received it by email immediately after they surveyed the work needed. Their quote was the most thorough and professional one I received. The employees that provided the quote were great to work with. They were also quick to respond to my emails. The roof was installed on 12 Nov 2012. I've had several days of rain since then and have not noticed any leaks. I was not home when they finished and was not pleased with the cleanup. About 2 weeks later I received the bill, warranty and a survey from them requesting my evaluation of their company. They also sent a fruit and snack basket via a florist. I was very impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the administrative personnel of this company.
Description of Work: A complete re-roof of my home. Approximately 1295 square feet.

+ -1 moreFantastic. Job was expertly completed and all debris was removed. Workers were courteous and worked diligently. We were only slightly inconvenienced during the work. My wife was surprised to receive a thank-you boquet of flowers on the third day, after roof completion. They will return to remove a kitchen ventilator after my kitchen redo is completed.
Description of Work: Removed old roof and ventilators and replaced with ridge caps and achitectural shingles.
