Went well. They ran late due to the job they were on prior to mine but communicated well. Got straight to work. Never took breaks. Got done in the estimated time for the estimated cost. They did a great job.

This was the worst experience I have ever had moving it took two men 5 1/2hrs to moved half my belongings. I had to let them go because I could not afford to pay for another 5 1/2hrs to move the other half of my belongings and I wasn't asking them to move every item from my apartment. I have called several times concerning the location of the screws with no response from anyone. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I don't understand how they have a A rating for their services because they are the worst company.

Ready To Move employees were on time, courteous and did an excellent job. Everyone at our office was pleased with how well they managed their time and how knowledgeable about moving files and all kinds of furniture especially an extremely bulky heavy one of a kind piece owned by our managing partner. They did such a good job we asked them back a second time to finish up some additional things in our office at well.

Showed up 3 hours late - Appointment was at 9 am. Got a call at 850 telling me they would make it by 1000. Did not show up by 1030, so I tried calling back but would not answer or return calls. The driver called around 1130 asking for directions and did not even know the general area the address was located at. They finally arrived at 1155. The crew acted professionally once on site and the guys were always courteous. I thought they were rather slow since it took 2 hours to load only large items from a 2-bedroom. There were no small items or boxes in the house by the time they arrived. Nothing was broken during the move. The truck was in poor condition. Taillights were hanging from the wires. The loading ramp got stuck and the crew had to work on it for 15 minutes under the sun to get it back in.

Could not have done a better job. Quoted $1850 for the first day, and $900 for the second. No change in price even though this was a much larger job than they anticipated. Even had to move an upright piano through a window to get it out of the house ! Greatly surpassed all my expectations. Would give A+++++ .

I wanted to go with someone local. In the move itself, we wanted things packed a certain way. They packed everything together. They broke an antique marble dresser top. Since they broke we are still waiting for the insurance company from service provider to provide compensation for the marble dresser top. I haven't been able to reach the company. Every time I call they never call me back.

I had some issues with the move, I have called several times and have only heard from them once. I asked them to leave me a walkway in the storage area, but they did not leave much space. They left the storage area in a mess, and I will have to have someone else redo it. They also had to fill their truck with gas and did not have that done before, it took over 45 minutes of me waiting on them. They charged me for the entire 45 minutes they took to get the gas. Thier services are not up to par, not acceptable.

A plus experience. Will definitely use this company for my next move. Highly recommended.

Ready to Move is fabulous. They were very quick and efficient. They came into the house and moved the things into the truck and out of truck in the new place within no time. It’s a good moving company for someone who wants a moving service. I would definitely use them again in the future.

After getting an estimate from a national van line which was more than we wanted to spend, we started looking locally for a mover. We were moving to a retirement community with roads that did not accommodate a large tractor trailer. Goods needed to be moved from a large van to a 24 foot box van for the final move. Ready to Move has a box van. Paxton Taylor did the estimate and gave us a price that we thought was fair. We booked the move date and everything proceeded on schedule. Tim, and two helpers packed the fragile items and the truck on June 26. There was not an inch to spare on the truck when it was loaded. Tim is a puzzle master fitting items into the truck. We needed two days to reach the Baltimore area so Tim left on Wednesday morning. He dropped off a desk in Alexandria, Va on his way to the final destination. Tim arrived on time on June 28 with one helper. They had to move items to a 5th floor apartment from the entrance to the apartment building. They set up the bed, put all the furniture back together (table tops and legs) and moved boxes into the basement storage unit. They worked steadily without complaint. Our daughters helped with unpacking the china cabinet. No items were damaged in the move. We were very pleased with the professionalism of the owner and the movers. We paid a flat rate for the move which meant we didn't have to worry about weight, stickers and inventory sheets. I would highly recommend them.

They were amazing. They we able to pack and load things up very quickly. They showed up early for the move. They are very professional and friendly. I was suprised that they were just so fast and efficient. They did not damage anything in the time they moved which was impressive. They really cared about their job. When we called to set up the appointment, the staff was super friendly and perky. They are prompt in returning calls, which is good these days.
