+ -1 moreI called Merle on Sunday night and told him that my lift pump had gone out. For those of you unfamiliar with a lift pump; it pumps the sewage from a low location up to a point in the sewage system that gravity can take it the rest of the way out. Merle and his son Jeff were there the next morning at 8:30 and it was replaced by noon. They have done several plumbing jobs for me in the past including a master bath renovation, hot water heater install and gas appliance installation. Every time the work was top notch. I never write reviews, but these guys are the best plumbers in middle Georgia. They show up when they are supposed to, their prices are very reasonable and their work is very good. They are good people who will fix your problem and not take advantage of you.
Description of Work: Replaced a lift pump for my basement bathroom and laundry.

+ -1 moreOriginal water heater failed (19 years) and they replaced it with a larger, better unit that day. Aces. Had to work in a tight space 60 feet from the door in a crawlspace.

Description of Work: I had a garbage disposal, kitchen spray faucet, and bathroom faucet replaced. First, they were very responsive, having come highly recommended from a longtime customer. The first faucet selected for the bathroom did not fit properly and the Saylors went out to Lowe's for a replacement one, contacting me on the phone before the purchase. I had a small problem with a vanity door not closing properly after the bathroom faucet installation, but the younger Saylor came back promptly to fix it. There were no issues with the kitchen installations. They were prompt, professional, and completed the work in a reasonable amount of time for the price charged. I would definitely recommend Merle Saylor & Son.

+ -1 moreI have been using him for 22 years. He was the one who put in the plumbing in my house when we first built it. His son is also working with him now because he is about to retire. Henry Arrington gave me his name and I have been using him ever since.
Description of Work: Merle Saylor Plumbing Company is my plumber. Last year, he put in kitchen faucets and a trash compacter for me. He removed the smaller water heater from my attic and put it my garage. He put a gas line for me. He made a shut-off valve for me in the garage.

+ -1 moreWe've used them twice and I would recommend them. Their work was fine and I was very impressed with the work they did on the sink. When they replaced everything it certainly looked a lot neater and tidier work better than the prior plumbing had been under there. I don't have much basis of comparison regarding the price. As a matter of fact I would be calling them to do something else for me.
Description of Work: I used Merle Saylor Plumbing Co for installation of a new sink, garbage disposal and re-plumbing the underneath part of the sink in late March. They also did a minor repair of a water line underneath the bathroom sink.
