Geek Squad - Best Buy

We currently have a debacle with them. We want them to install it on Saturday and they said okay. On Saturday, we had not heard from anybody. We called them and they said they will call us back. They forgot to schedule it. An hour later, they said we have an emergency installation and we said it shouldn’t be an emergency because it was supposed to be a scheduled installation. This guy got involved and he installed the dishwasher. He runs then he leaves. The next day, we opened it to put 30 dishes in it and there’s water standing in the bottom of it. We called them and they would not call us back. They said we have to get the installer to come and check on it. He is in Florida. They can’t do anything about it. This guy finally comes home and we got him to come back and he said it needs to be replaced because it’s a bad unit. I don’t know how much time on the phone my husband spent on the phone with them and they said they will call us back in 10 minutes and of course they did not callback. So he called them back and they said that they will figure it out and call us back in an hour and of course they did not callback. Nobody ever called back. Finally, my husband got somebody to do something. They said they would install it on Monday. So the dishwasher that we had installed was Saturday will be replaced more than a week after that because it’s a faulty piece of equipment. It’s really hard to get anything out of them.

I love Best Buy. The store is laid out well. The prices are good. The sales people, however, do not compliment such a great store. They seem to lack knowledge. To shop here, you must know exactly what you need, or have absolutely no clue. If you know a little and have question, you will not get any help here. If you know nothing, you'll probably believe the nonsense that they will tell you. Good luck.
