I rated them well in the ratings but they did not actually perform the work. Due family issues (with Central Carpet), the owner was unable to keep installation appointments. Due to the nature of the issues, I don't begrudge them for not completing the job. The family issues were not trivial and I wish them the best. That said, CC came to our house at the appointed time (very punctual) to provide a free estimate. Their rep was very knowledgable about the tile products discussed and provided a well thought-out project plan. He listened to our vague image of what we wanted and was very receptive to our needs. We met at their facility some days later to pick out tiles and again their rep provided a very knowledgable insight into the various options and assisted in helping us make our decisions. We looked forward to seeing their work. CC had to cancel two appointments due to the family issues. And did not want to keep us waiting any longer. CC arranged for another contractor (a good acquaintence) to actually do the work. We are very pleased with the final job. If able, I will add the other contractor to Angies List and provide some pics.

I purchased and paid cash for the carpet and installation and they did arrive on time but instead of the job taking 1 day as promised it took 2 days. Also, they brought a teenager with them to do the job. And worst of all, they cut all my walls with the knife they use to cut the carpet down at the baseboard level. I called to complain and they sent out the original work crew which denied everything. Then I tried to deal with the person in the office that handles these things and he wanted to send the same crew out to spackle all the cuts which would mean i would have to paint the entire house afterwards. This was not acceptable to me! Overall, I would NOT use them again or recommend them to anyone else either! BEWARE!d

They did an excellent job of taking out the old tile and putting in new base and framework. Once that was done the shower had to sit for a couple of days. Then they came in and put in the new tile. They made the shower look great and the tile work is beautiful. Once the tile was in place again the shower needed to sit for a couple of days to let dry. Then they came back and cleaned the tile and the shower and bathroom to ensure that everthing was ready to go.

The workers were polite and friendly. Even after the job the main worker brought some fresh fish he had caught to share with us.
