Description of Work: Called and told he would come in the afternoon but was a no show. Called early the next morning and said he was unable to come out the day before. He did arrive that afternoon right on time. The work he performed was quick and he explained everything. He was very helpful and efficient with his work. Even put a sticker on the door so I would not have to look up the number again. Great job.

+ -1 moreI called Barefoot at 2:30pm. They returned my call in 10 minutes. Before I called back, I texted them the number of horizontal and vertlcal panels because I saw in the other review posted here that they would ask those questions (thanks, Angie). They arranged to meet me at 5:30 pm, and were waiting in my driveway when I got home. In 30 minutes, they were done and paid, and my car was parked in the garage. They put a sticker on the inside of the door with their phone number, lubricated the drive screw , and advised me on how to do the same. Now THAT's service. I'd recommend these guys to anyone.
Description of Work: I had the identical problem as the the other reviewer: broken spring on my roll-up garage door. My door would not open more than a foot before closing again.

+ -1 moreMy garage door would not raise. It would come up about 3" and then go back down. I called Barefoot Garage Doors around 10 a.m. and spoke with Thomas Barefoot. He asked me what my problem was and when I told him, he asked if I could go look at the door and give him some information. The first thing he asked about was the spring over the door. (He obviously already knew what the problem was from experience.) It was broken in two pieces. He then got an approximate size by me telling him how many panels there were. He told me the cost would be approximately $220. I told him that I would not be home until 2 p.m. He said that he would be here on that day, but he wasn't sure what time that it could be as late as 6:30 pm. I told him that would be fine. Around 4 p.m. he showed up and with no problems fixed the door. He even helped me re-program my door opener in my car. I was very please with the promptness and the professionalism that Mr. Barefoot showed. I will reccommend him to anyone and will use him again if necessary.
