Description of Work: The floors were refinished beautifully and the new wood was carefully matched to the historic wood being refinished. My only complaint was that the quarter round they installed was clearly not sufficient to cover the gap between the refinished floor and the baseboard in one room, and we would have been happy to pay more to have a more appropriate trim installed, but were not given the option. Otherwise, they did a great job and I would hire them again.

 + -1 moreI paid Adam's Flooring ~$8K to install hardwood floors in my home in Macon, GA about 5 years ago, and these floors were just recently damaged by a small water leak. So, I called Adam's Flooring to fix since they were the original installer. I spoke with someone who promised to call me back and never did, and after repeated attempts to call Adam's Flooring only so I could pay them to fix my floor I decided to call Mid Ga Flooring who set up an appointment with me for the same day. Adam's Flooring obviously doesn't care about their customers, so I would recommend going with Mid Ga Flooring or anyone else over Adam's Flooring.
Description of Work: Never returned many phone call attempts to repair floor

 + -1 moreThis company did a beautiful job with installation - floor looked gorgeous. However, within a year we developed a SIGNIFICANT buckle in the main pathway of the room. He came and said that it was not a complicated fix - they could do it in an afternoon. He stated that they were extremely busy but would get to it as soon as possible. He asked that I call and and quot;remindand quot; him to come and do it. I sent a few reminders and got one message saying that they were finishing up a job and would get there in two weeks. I followed up by leaving more messages (after several weeks) and now they do not even return my phone calls or messages. Apparently they screen their calls - never picking up. I am extremely disappointed that such a competent company would treat customers (especially those who have invested significant money) so poorly. My husband even left a message stating that we were willing to absorb some of the cost of the repair - we just want it fixed as it does pose a tripping hazard due to unevenness of the floor. OUR EFFORTS TO HAVE THIS REPAIR DONE HAVE CONTINUED FOR OVER THREE MONTHS!.....NO RESPONSE!!! I WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE AGAIN.

 + -1 moreI don't remember how long it took them, but I believe it was no more than two days. They came when the appointment was set and did a beautiful job on our floors and then cleaned up. I remember they communicated well, professionally, precisely, and politely. Seven years later, I still love my floors and have no complaints. I will definitely use them again on our other rooms when it is time.
Description of Work: Adams sanded and refinished two rooms and a hallway.
