+ -1 moreThe entire staff are very friendly and proffesional. No hidden fees. The price qouted was the price I paid. No issues afterwards and no pressure to have other repairs. I highly reccomend!! They are now my go to Auto Repair place.

Description of Work: This was a few years ago. Walton Automotive is a small shop that was recommended by a friend to rebuild a starter for my old Ford 8N tractor. Pretty laid back, but they accomplished the job and it didn't cost much.

+ -1 moreWest Walton automotive is a VERY low rent operation. I have taken my vehicles there a number of times and they have never been able to fix it right the first time. The last time they worked on my truck was the last straw, all I wanted was an oil change an for them to check a vibration in one of the tires. They told me I had worn out bearing causing the vibration and they could fix it the next day. Two weeks and $500 later I had to take it to another garage for another $300 repair to fix the problems they caused. They are real nice people and I wanted to continue to do business with them but the just don't know what they are doing.

transmission repair
+ -1 moreWe rebuilt instead of buying a new transmission, it was less money and did just as well. They did a great job and within a reasonable time frame. I would and have had West Walton do more work for me and have always been pleased.
Description of Work: They rebuilt the transmission in our 2002 Ford explorer. Works great never a problem with it again.

+ -1 moreWe have had really great service experience with this company. They have serviced not only our vehicles but also our Daughter and Aunt's vehicles. What they say they are going to do, they do in a timely manner and well done.
Description of Work: This involved a comprehensive evaluation of the automobile's needs, based on it's age and mileage. Multiple varied services were performed, including changing motor belts, brake pads on front along with cleaning rear brakes, valve cover gasket, coolant flush and finally a tune-up and oil change. An estimate of the cost was provided in advance for approval.
