BUYER BEWARE!!I inquired about starting service with TruGreen. I was promised that I would be charged $30.97 for the promotion packet for the complete care package. I was charged $598.15!! I have reached out to the sales rep and he will not return my calls or texts.

If I call them when I didn’t like what they did, they will send someone out. They have a system where they inform you when they are coming and when they completed the work. They are very professional. They could reduce the price. I think the pricing could be overturned.

I have just discontinued a contract with them. We just didn't like the work they were doing. A supervisor came out to evaluate our complaint. She is totally unknowledgeable. She doesn't even know what kind of grass we have out here. It was really really bad. I must give them credit because I asked them to come out in between there normal visits and they would come out and spray again or something like that. I would much rather have them do it right the first time.

Their work has been very unsatisfactory. I am currently looking for a new provider.

They killed my grass. They will not respond to me. They have the worst customer service out of any company that I've ever dealt with. Our front yard is just dirt. They want to re-seed my yard, but I want them to re-sod it. I called the office and a service manager came out. He left literature that blamed the death of the lawn on the weather. The yard up the street that also has centipede grass is having no problem, and they experience the same weather that I do. We had to dig up all of our bushes as well, as they have seem to have gotten a fungus. They've made appointments with me, and they have not come to service my lawn. If they are willing to come put sod down, I would use them. I would never use them to treat my grass.

I was never able to contact them to get the work done. They did leave one message stating that they would be out for the first treatment, no later than March but it didn't happen. After several attempts to contact them to cancel the service with no response, I contacted my credit card company and had the charge refunded. After this, they showed up and put a treatment on my lawn one day while I was gone.

TruGreen offers 6 or seven services per year with a guarantee of coming back if you are not satisfied with the results. I have often called in the past and each time they have scheduled a time to come back out and service the lawn. However, they often seem to ignore whatever instructions I give - for instance they will leave me a note saying that they fertilized the lawn rather than taking care of weeds when I have requested, resulting in multiple callbacks. Recently, I had no less than 9 conversations to get them to come back out to service my lawn. I would call, they would schedule, then miss the schedule with no notification. I would call again. Each time it was the same. After the third of fourth call i I finally talked to one of the service managers who I've dealt with in the past. He assured me that that is not the way they do business and on two occasions ensured me that the service technician would be out on a set date and time to service my lawn. Each time the technician did not show up. I left a message after a third time and did not receive a return phone call. I did receive a call from another service manager who vowed to correct the problem. After missing one appointent Trugreen ultimatly came out and serviced my lawn. They fertilize the yard regardless of what grass I have. They're pretty courteous, punctual, on time, as far as I know they're usually not here when they're here. I trust them, they do what they say they're going to do.

TruGreen hasn't been able to resolve a balding problem in one are of my yard but TruGreen has been very punctual, pleasant, and everything else they have done is fine.

The last time I used them by choice was in October. I spoke with someone that month and canceled but they never marked it and they came in November. I called again to cancel and they failed again and came in December. I asked to speak with someone in charge and spoke within someone who was of authority and he even confirmed that they had record that I had called and then he processed the cancelation gave a confirmation and I have not dealt with them since. They duplicated service in those two months that was being done by another company. This was characteristic of the quality and nature of their service for an entire year. I had to follow them with phone calls because of numerous mistakes.

They did a good job but they increased their pricing. The quality of their service was a little bit better than my current lawn care service provider. I find their pricing to be too expensive.

I was very unhappy with this company. They claimed to have done work that was never performed. They were incredibly unresponsive to my calls, and working them became frustrating. I’ve discontinued my service with them.

I have had no problems with them and my yard is looking pretty good.
