True Quality Roofing

Work was performed as requested and planned. Jay was very responsive (even on Sunday) and professional.

When we needed roof replacement, my wife and I called a few companies but were the most pleased by True Quality Roofing. They were very professional, had great prices, and worked hard to make sure the job was done right the first time. They did a great job and I will recommend them highly! Personally thanks to Reid!

Sporadic communications and I needed to keep prodding the contact person to complete the minor shingle repair and replacement. Work was eventually done but there was no contact to let me know it was finished, however, I was able to tell by the small shingle scraps laying around the exterior of the house. The size and cost of the job was not enough to warrant much attention on their part.

I started out not knowing if I had a potential insurance claim or not and Reid came out to quantify the level of damage, made contact with my insurer, met with the adjuster, and walked everything through the process of getting a check and a notice to proceed. The process could not have gone smoother. Once it was clear that insurance would be paying to replace my roof, he came out again and walked me through the various products that they support and gave his recommendations to manufacturer, type and color of shingles. We even walked around my neighborhood and discussed the various options that neighbors had procured and what he might have recommended they had done differently. When it came time to commence the project, a couple pallets of building materials appeared on my driveway. I was not in town for the actual work, but ordering to my neighbors they performed tear down of the old roof, installation of the new one, and clean up in a day and a half. This was a strong performance compared to other roofers who were working in the neighborhood at the same time who left dumpsters and building materials in my neighbors' driveways for days. I came back in to town with a brand new roof on my house and no sign that someone had been there working, save for the small number of left over shingles that were removed a few days later. All in all, I got the roof I wanted, complete with premium materials, for no outlay. I could not have achieved that without Reid's thorough knowledge of the right way to handle insurance companies and adjusters. Thanks for a five star experience!

Dwight was awesome and very easy to work with. I would definitely use this company again.

He made sure that he got the correct color of shingle to match my roof then added/replaced missing and damaged shingles that were potential leak hazards as well as caulked areas in need of attention. He also gave me valuable information as to when I should think about replacing all of my shingles in the future as well as adding a ridge vent and attic fan(s) for proper ventilation to reduce my energy bills and to make the new shingles last even longer. He also answered all of my insurance questions regarding this future repair.

True Quality Roofing is exactly that ? true quality. Their installation was timely yet meticulously professional. They took the extra time and did not cut corners on materials or labor to save a few dollars. They are simply extremely honest people doing what they do to the best of their abilities. Their abilities are as professional as it gets. Do yourself a favor and get a second opinion on a new roof from this company before you decide to go with anyone else. If you are the type of person that doesn?t want to get a second opinion just go with these people. You will never regret it. The majority of roof companies tell you about the manufacturing warranties which only apply to a perfectly installed roof or the manufacturer will not honor them. True Quality gives you a double warranty-their own and they make sure it?s installed to specification that will meet the manufacturer?s standards. I also noticed they use more nails per shingle than other roofers. With their warranty it would not be in their best interest not to do everything right in the first place. Todd Criswell is one of those businessmen that are hard to find nowadays- he practices the Golden Rule andthe principle of ?Say what you?ll do, then do what you say? He was a pleasure to deal with!

I was matched with True Quality Roofing via Angie's List Snap Fix to fix a minor leak on my roof. Once matched, I proactively called the office to have an appointment set up for the same day to inspect the leak so they could provide an estimate. Reid came out to my house to do the inspection (on time) and did a quick inspection (without a ladder?) and took some photos. He said that he would call me that same evening to provide the estimate because he needed to consult with one of his 'roofing guys' on the issue. I did not hear back from Reid that evening, and contacted the office myself the next day to follow up. I did not hear anything back again until the following day when Reid left a voicemail giving me a cost of $450. I tried calling him back to ask for clarification on why the estimate was what it was - but he never called me back. Would not recommend.

The provider arrived on time, inspected the roof and sealed a leak. Unfortunately, the seal did last Provider appears to have done they best they could.

The job needed for my home was an extensive one that was broken into two phases. Initially, Jay Fillipiak came out in Dec. 2014, but I had to postpone the repairs. In July 2015, Steve Weber came out again to assess what was needed and scheduled the first date for the main roof replacement. The old shingles were removed along with any damaged wood. They replaced the damaged wood, flashing, and put on the new roof shingles all in one day! The second phase for replacing the sunroom roof, gutters, wood rot, and wood on chimney, took about 2.5 days to ensure all damaged areas were repaired. All the wood foundation under the sunroom roof was replaced, secured and painted prior to affixing the new corrugated fiberglass roof! They used hearty plank wood to replace the wood rot on the chimney, and replaced my chimney top piece due to rust. The new 6 inch gutters have gutter traps and the down spouts are elevated off the ground as they should be. Many thanks and blessings to Team 1 on the main house roof replacement, and Team 2 (Bubba & Crew - "The A Team") on the sunroom, gutter and chimney replacement. They are the nicest people in the world! To Steve Weber and Jay Fillipiak, I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful work your and your teams performed! Your knowledge, professionalism and thoughtfulness are truly appreciated! You cannot go wrong if you hire True Quality Roofing for your roofing needs. I would use them again and again! P.S. The company was prompt from the initial request for information through the completion of the the new roof installation. They thoroughly explained the process and the crew were excellent.

They did very good. They said if we noticed any more problems, we could call them, and they would come right back!

We were recently had a large storm hit our area. During this storm we discovered water dripping into our laundry room. Needless to say as a home owner I was sweating it out. I have heard a lot of horror stories about companies in the roofing industry that perform unnecessary or say you need a completely new roof. In order to reduce the risk I contacted three roofing companies. As I am writing this review I am still waiting for two of the companies to call me back to schedule an appointment. I am so grateful that one of the calls was to True Quality Roofing.. My experience with everyone within this company was awesome. The all were professional, honest and extremely knowledgeable. Reid came out the same day that I called. Reid quickly discovered the problem. We had recently ha d the outside of our house painted and one of the painters ladders had crushed a shingle. I asked Reid to look over the entire roof. He took pictures and had a few recommendations. I was amazed at the price he quoted me to fix the leak and to repair a few loose shingles and boots. He made a temporary fix because another storm was coming in. Reid scheduled a day and time in which he would come out with another person and perform a permanent repair, but assured me that if the temporary fix did not hold he would come out before our scheduled appointment. Reid said it was company policy not to take any money before the permanent repair was made and I was satisfied. This was a huge deal to me and it meant a lot because this is a policy of a true professional company. Another storm rolled in and the temporary repair held up. Reid came out as scheduled. Not only did he and his partner repair my roof they went beyond and did some maintenance, such as, re-caulking any cracking caulk and added sealant to my boots. After all was said and done I got a lot more than I expected and I ended up paying less than what was quoted me. I was blown away. As a home owner it is so rare that you find a trade that exceeds all expectations for less than the original quote... True Quality Roofing lives up to there name.. They are truly a quality company with honest and knowledgeable employees. I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

I am a professional in the health care field and I was very impressed with True Quality Roofing at our initial meeting. Steve, general manager was neat, clean cut and very professional about his trade. Being ignorant about roofs I had numerous questions. He answered them all and even explained some of the procedures they do that other installers don't do all the while never being negative about the competition. I didn't feel pressure and even said I wanted to do more research. At our second meeting he answered all my new questions which gave me assurance that it was going to be done right the first time. The roof would have been done in 1 day, but a late shower delayed it. When I got home from work the roof was finished, the workers were gone and the yard was clean. I even asked if I should cut down a couple limbs. The onsite manager took it upon himself and did it for me. Now that's service. I was proud to find out that they have a guarantee that backs up their work. Just because you have a 30 year shingles does not mean that the manufacturer will stand behind them that long. If the installer did not do a good job or doesn't have that workmanship warranty the you may be up the creek. I'm very satisfied with True Quality Roofing's experience and would recommend them to anyone. Steve and his staff did a great job.

The workmen ripped off the old roof, installed the new one, cleaned up ENTIRELY all in one day. Beautiful job!!!

Salesman was very friendly. Salesman and subcontractor very hardworking. Salesman tried to save me money by repairing rather than replacing. Honest. Somewhat atypical approach in that salesman and subcontractor worked as a two-man team. But the final result appears to be good workmanship.

We recently hired True Quality Roofing to replace our entire roof after suffering storm damage. We found True Quality roofing on Angie's list and were very pleased with their work. The workmanship and materials used to accomplish the job were exceptional. Mr. Dwight Steadman, the "on site" manager and coordinator, was very professional and worked tirelessly to make certain the job was done right and on time. He worked with us every step of the way both before the job and after the work was finished. I would highly recommend True Quality Roofing to anyone needing a roof repair or total replacement.

I have used Jay previously for the roof on my new home. When I found a serious leak, they came back out and took care of it right away. Great service.

This review is not for work performed. It is informational only. It is concerned with my attempt to get a roofing quote from this company. I asked over the phone for a roofing quote, but when the owner came to my house, he repeatedly would not give me a quote. He would not get on the roof and see what was needed. He claimed that he could do that through aerial views on the Internet, but even then he was not going to give me a quote. Instead of giving me a complete and fair quote, what he wanted was to know how much my insurance company was willing to pay to have my roof replaced. He expected any such money to be signed over to him in addition to any other money that he claimed he could get from them. I was dismayed by this approach. Any such financial details are between me and my insurance company and I most definitely did not provide those numbers to him. However, I did find a very reputable company not far from my home and is reviewed here on Angie's List who knew I had an insurance claim but did not attempt to pry into my personal financial affairs. This tactic that I encountered, I suspect, is not all that uncommon. I have no idea what kind of work this company does, but their deceptiveness in supplying a quote I find to be unprofessional, at the least. It may not bother others. Like I said, this review is informational only. And it is factual in every detail.

It was a pleasure doing business with Jay Filipiak. He was very professional and easy to contact and work with during the process. He and his team did a great job on our house even though we had a long list of projects. The roofing guys got here early and got right to work.The new roof was completed by the end of the day. We are very pleased with how everything looks and with the entire process. Thanks to Jay and his team. Our neighbors have commented on how nice our house now looks with the new gable and roof.

He called and was very efficient when coming out to take a look. He noticed the gutters were just clogged and they did not need to be replaced. He even let me know about some potential issues on my roof as well while checking the gutters. I cleaned them out myself and they worked fine.

Jay called and was on time for the estimate appointment - a true professional. The price was very fair, and the work was completed on time. The workers were excellent, and left everything clean. Quality job--5 stars.

They came promptly in response to my request for a quote. This was not a large job and they provided a quote of $300 - $400. They indicated that they would work it into their schedule in the next week to 10 days. They came on a Saturday afternoon, which was fine, and completed the job in about an hour. The crew did a good job and were very professional in going about the work. I understand that this was somewhat of a nuisance job and I did appreciate their timely response, but I did think that the price at the high end of the estimate was excessive.

When Jay from True Quality Roofing initially came out to see what the problem was, he was honest and told me that my downspouts were good and that I only needed to replace one downspout and replace the gutters. He wasn't trying to sell me more than what I needed. They hired a subcontractor (which I can not remember the name of) to do the actual job. The job was done quickly. After the job was done we had hard rain and encountered an issue with the water not flowing into the gutter so I called Jay and within two days someone was out here fixing it. I recommend them to anyone who needs work done. I was very pleased! Excellent pricing!

True Quality has been a pleasure to work with. Jay has been ultra responsive and has help my family with so much with the purchase of a home. Jay helped us figure out a course of action from our home inspection in record time and knew we'd have a short turn around between closing and move in. It wasn't a big job, but still very important to the safety of the structure. I emailed Jay when we closed. He got back to me later in the evening while out of town at a certification class. He had his guys onsite in the morning and they were awesome. Very polite and like Jay really concerned for the safety of the structure and the family living in it. I am sure there are other great roofing people out there, but I'd go with the guys who put a priority on making sure your home is safe for your family. Even when it's not that big of a job.
