Sammy came out and diagnosed the issue. He demoed the shower, and in detail showed us what had caused the issue. He rebuilt the shower, showing us every step. The work was done to schedule (even with a change), to the price quote, in a quality manner, with a total clean-up. When I buy my next house I will have Sammy inspect the tile work before I buy and make the any required changes or upgrades. Truly a good person and professional. I highly recommend!!

Outstanding! Sammy was very professional and personal. He took the time to explain each step of the installation process. This was a first for us using a contractor so we were a little apprehensive but Sammy quickly put us at ease and the final product GREAT!!!!

Sammy met me on a Friday morning to survey the issue and scheduled me the very next morning to fix everything. He promptly texted me and showed up promptly and got right to work fixing my floor. Throughout the job he kept me updated and took the time to educate me on what was and wasn’t done properly during the initial install of my floor. Everything couldn’t have went smoother, he was not only a great tile guy but extremely friendly and accommodating of all my questions. Hands down, he’s my new tile guy!!! No one else will be called

I emailed The Tile Specialist on Sunday, May 1, 2016. I didn't receive a response, so I called first thing Wednesday morning and left a voicemail message with a description of the project and my phone number. I still have not heard anything from them, and it is now Thursday night.

The work and professionalism was beyond expectation. Sammy first consulted with me at no cost and advised me on various options to move forward including the advantages and disadvantages for each. He also provided advise on how to best select the new tile for the replacement. The shower replacement was a five day job. The first day was fully taking out the old shower. The second day was rebuilding the shower pan and the walls. The last three days were constructing the new shower using travertine stone tiles. Sammy replaced the floor in my laundry room also during breaks in the shower project while various parts of the project needed time to set. I appreciated that Sammy respected my home during the job. He took he shoes off before entering the home, put down carpet protection on the path he had to walk. He also fully removed all waste material from the job site so when the job was done, I had nothing to clean up. Overall, Sammy did an excellent job. I highly recommend that he is considered for any tile jobs.

Sammy knows his stuff and takes care to do things right. There were a couple of fit and finish issues but he fixed them without hesitation. If there is something wrong he will make it right. Reasonably priced, honest, and skilled contractors are hard to find. Sammy is all three.

We called Sammy (The Tile Specialist) because we were having issues with the tile we had installed a few years back. A friend of ours had installed for us, but the bathroom tile were coming loose and the shower tiles were showing signs of mold. Sammy spent time explaining to us why the flooring was coming out (we had used some inexpensive mortar) and the reason the tiles in the shower had mold (the wrong back board was used). He providing us with a very fair price to remove the old tiles and re-tile the floor and shower. After he tore the tile off, he showed us the problems of the old installation and spent time explaining to us what he was going to use to prevent this from happening again. He was patient as we tried to pick the right tile for the shower and floor (and gave us some direction to what would look good). He was able to come and do the work while we were at work. When we came home there would be a lot of work completed, but everything was cleaned before he left. He completed the entire bathroom on time with no extra cost overruns. The bathroom looks great. We're already planning to use him again when we come to do the flooring in our home. If you need any tiling work, Sammy should definitely be the first person you call.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE PROVIDER. SAMMY IS A PLEASURE ON BOTH A PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL LEVEL. HE MADE ACCURATE ASSESSMENTS: (1) CORRECTED INSTALLATION PROBLEMS IN THE BASEMENT, THE TILES & GROUT HE REPLACED LOOK PERFECT -LIKE THERE WAS NEVER ANY PROBLEM. (2) HE ADVISED AGAINST COMPETITORS RECOMMENDATIONS TO RE-GROUT THE KITCHEN, SINCE THIS MIGHT POTENTIALLY DAMAGE MY PORCELAIN TILES (& THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN THE MORE EXPENSIVE OPTION!) HE DELIGENTLY RE-WORKED SEVERELY SOILED AREAS AND THE KITCHEN TILE LOOKS NEW. (3) HE QUOTED A MORE REASONABLE PRICE FOR THE REMOVAL OF THE SHOWER THAT THE CONTRACTOR INSTALLING THE NEW ENCLOSURE AND THIS ENABLED ME TO HAVE THE AREA UNDER THE OLD TRACKS THOROUGHLY CLEANED AND PREPPED. HE ALSO RE-CAULKED THE ENTIRE ENCLOSURE, INSIDE & OUT, IN A COLOR THAT THAT WAS A BETTER MATCH THAN THE ORIGINAL.

We were having problems with the tile coming up in our shower stall. We had had the tile re-grouted a couple of times but it kept coming up. I called "SirGrout" to have them look at it and possibly re-grout it. They came out and said the shower stall needed more than re-grouting and they did only re-grouting. They referred us to Sammy Alghubari of "The Tile Specialit." Sammy responded to our phone call the same day that we called him. He made an appointment to come out and review our tile problem and to give us an estimate. He was right on time and we found him very genuine as he inspected our shower stall. He said that there was water getting behind the tile and into the pan. He gave us several options without being bossy or pushy, just honest. We decided to have the shower stall completely replaced. Sammy began work on March 9 and completed it on March 13. He was here every day at the time he said he would be here and completed the job in the time that he said it would take. He showed us the work he was doing each day and explained exactly what he was doing and why. He explained why the shower was leaking and showed us the damaged wood material before replacing it. He was very respectful of our home, taking care to remove the debris without making a mess everywhere. He provided the names of plumbers and shower door people that we could call to get those things done. He went above and beyond putting in a new shower stall. It is larger than it was and he took care that the grout matched the tile on the floor. He also used some of the old floor tile to repair some cracked floor tile. Upon finishing, he boxed up the tile that he didn't use and told us to be sure to return it for a refund. My shower stall is 100% prettier than it was and best of all "it was installed properly."

Recently Sammy remodeled my master bathroom in my residential house, I've got every thing I was asking for quality and prices, The Tile Specialist is highly recommended over and over again.
