Mr. V Appliance & Electrical

After having been dropped by Sears with an appointment with them, I decided to try someone local who is reputable and otherwise knows what they're doing. Mr. V. is definitely it. After the initial $35 fee to come diagnose, and after my own general diagnosis of basic refrigerator learning via various videos on some repair sites, we were able to successfully narrow down my issue to a bad evaporator fan motor in the freezer. While it took a follow-up visit to complete the repair (the specific part needed ordering and I intentionally pushed off the follow up to decide what my wife wanted to do), not only was the fan motor replaced, but he also replaced a broken fan (one of the blades had broken). Once everything was back together and the refrigerator exited its defrost mode, we could not believe how much quieter (and likely more efficient) the appliance is now running. The techs at Mr. V. are exceptionally detail-oriented and really took the time to observe the appliance without unnecessarily ripping out parts. We really appreciated their expertise; a good value for the money.

I was told by a company that serviced the maker of my dishwasher that they would charge $150.00 just to show up plus any labor and parts. Mr V has a service charge of $35.00 and will apply to invoice if there is a problem that they repair. I was so impressed by the honesty of the company. Will call them first for any repairs I may have. Will recommend them to others.

Not the cheapest, but certainly worth the cost. Mr. V was prompt and professional. The repair of the dishwasher was done quickly. He then repaired five wall outlets that had been damaged by a lightning strike on a tree in my garden.

Technician arrived within the stated timeframe to fix my dryer. David was professional, knowledgeable and focused. Fortunately my dryer just needed maintenance. It now heats up. He also adjusted/fixed my oven door. Will definitely hire them again.

I was actually surprised when I called on a Thursday night around 5:30 and got a call back and an appointment for repair the very next day. I really didn't expect that type of response. I expected to have to wait until the first of the week. Mr. V and his tech showed up within the allotted window, diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. The next day they returned and the repairs were done efficiently and quickly. The repairmen were very nice and answered my questions regarding the repairs.

Mr. V. went right to work and diagnosed the problem within 15 to 20 minutes. He explained what was wrong with the oven and gave me the price to fix it. He also gave me a senior discount. He fixed the problem and he was very professional. I highly recommend Mr. V.

Appointment made and I was called to tell me that the techs were on the way. When they arrived the diagnosis and cost of repairs was made. The repairs were done efficiently and quickly. The repairmen were very nice and answered all of my questions. They were very nice and left my kitchen in good condition. No mess. I will most certainly call them for future projects and repairs.

Appointment scheduled between 8 and 10 AM. Called at. 10. To say he was delayed until 11:30. Due to other appointments tech didn't arrive until 130. Could have been more accurate to avoid waiting all morning. Once arrived, tech was professional,efficient, thorough and courteous. We will call Mr V again.
