Holy cow - avoid at all costs. They were dispatched to my house via American Home Shield. They told me what was wrong, gave me two options to fix it, and told me to give him a call to let him know which I'd prefer. He wrote the "quote" on the back of a business card. I live in Georgia and am down an AC unit at this point. I called them the next morning and it went straight to voicemail. I called later in the day and it rang and rang and went to voicemail. I left a message. That was on a Friday. On Monday I called and it went straight to voicemail so I left another message. Tuesday I called and it went straight to voicemail. I called again - straight to voicemail. Called 5 straight times and it finally rang and Troy picked up. He seemed extremely perturbed that he had to talk to someone. I told him which option I chose and asked him to send me a quote so we were on the same page as to what work was going to be done (as opposed to generally agreeing to a few words on the back of a business card. I received the quote two days later. I replied to the email immediately and asked how soon I could get on the schedule. Never a response. After two more days I sent another email - no response. I've since called several times and left another voicemail. It's now been two weeks and they've never replied to my emails or voicemail. The guys are terrible!

Description of Work: I found them accidently two days after I moved into my current house. I have been here for 11 years and they are still my number one go to people. After moving in, we had a lot of problems with the unit, and they had to re-work the furnace and a lot of duct work. They are extremely honest and they go above and beyond for me. They have gone back to the home warranty company for me several times to assist me with any troubles. They will do a repair and explain exactly the situation and weather if it is a Band-Aid for the work. They have always come right away even in the dead of summer when the air conditioning has gone out. They are pleasant, amazing, and I wouldn’t use anyone else. I only wish that they did air duct cleaning and work on water heaters.

When I purchased my home last month, the seller provided me with an American Home Shield warranty, which covers AC services. The repairman, William, arrived at my newly purchased home and mis-diagnosed the AC problems. He stated some ridiculous story about the blower having gone out due to me not having a filter installed in the unit, even though the filter was present, though it was old (because no one had lived in the house between the time that the sellers left and I moved in...duh!). In regard to my downstairs unit, he then noticed that one of the wires disconnected from the condenser, but he would not repair them. For what reason, I don't know. William also uninstalled my upstairs' unit blower motor, and did not return it to its original position. I called Metro Air Service's office and spoke with his supervisor, Troy. Troy was extremely rude, and would not even tell William to return to my home to replace my blower, which would be necessary in order for another company to come out and properly inspect my units. Troy then hung up the phone on me. Unreal! Beware of Metro Air Service out of Loganville, GA!!! Description of Work: Because I have an American Home Shield warranty on my appliances, Metro Air Service was to come and repair my 2 broken AC systems. This was the worst experience that I've ever had with any company in metro Atlanta!

Warranty company sent them out, tech was on time and nice. He quickly determined what was wrong with the furnace, but couldn't repair it b/c his company doesn't work on the side vent. He recommended 3 other companies to call. No charge b/c it was covered by the warranty.
Description of Work: Assessed what was wrong with my furnace. Didn't actually complete the work b/c they don't service that part of the furnace (side vent).

My downstairs system ran all night and the temperature went down to 60. I called in the morning to schedule an appointment on a day I was very busy. The service and timing were excellent. They came within a few hours of the initial call and were earlier than promised. Jeff diagnosed the problem quickly and had it solved very promptly. He was knowledgeable, courteous and very efficient. I would definitely use them again in the future and most assuredly will based on the age of the systems in my home.
Description of Work: Heater was not working...wiring and coil were toasted.
