It went great! We couldn't be happier. Details: I sent an e-mail requesting service. The owner responded shortly. He had researched our house with DeKalb County and had all of the info. We scheduled the service. They arrived on time. The work went smoothly. When complete, the area was restored to the point we could not tell they had been there. Afterwards the crew spent quite some time educating us on septic tanks.

They were wonderful. They came out first and diagnosed the problem. When they finally did the final work and got everything resolved, they gave me an estimate and told me how much it was going to be and that's how much it was, not a penny more. They were very good about communicating and they were honest. I've got ripped off a lot. They discovered that the drain field had collapsed. They dug it up and showed it to me and explained to me all about it in great detail. He gave me a handful to read and stuff and then they recommended a soil service guy to come out and do the soil thing. They got all the permitting and everything from the city. He was nice and very honest. I some trees that I'd planted and they managed to go between them and not damage any of he plants I'd planted. The price was less than I was expecting. They were always here when they said they'd be here. They were professional.

JC Septic was extremely professional from start to finish. I would highly recommend them and be happy to use them again. Jeff Chambers was extremely responsive in scheduling the service and the onsite technician was extremely professional and courteous.

Jeff, Arrived on time ,we had a brief discussion of what would be done and I provided him with plat of septic tank location. He located the tank within 5-minutes dug down to both ends of tank to expose tank lids. He was very careful as to keep sod in tact when removed and covered the lawn with tarp to place dirt removed.Jeff is very knowledgeable of his trade and educated me as well how septic tanks work. He didn't try to oversell me on something I really didn't need and was very truthful and discussed every aspect of the process with me as he worked. He did an excellent job and when he was done he filled in areas where he dug and replaced sod. I highly recommend Jeff for all your Septic Tank needs. Excellent customer service! Did a fabulous job came on short notice and worked us into their schedule. Very professional and knowledgeable much more so than some of the other providers we have used on other houses. Highly recommend!

Great work you guys. My wife and I just purchased our 1st home a few months ago and having our so "inspected" tank malfunction a few months later really stressed us out. We had a company come over and tell us that our entire system needed to be replaced. But we wanted to get a second opinion, so I joined Angieslist. After looking for a few days and calling places, I came across JP Septic Service. I read most of the reviews and called them up. They were very professional and straight to the point . They are very knowledgeable and patient. They came over and dug a few holes and found the issue, it wasn't the entire system, but some roots from a tree were clogging the pipes. They did the job in a few hours. Very clean and they tried their best not to damage my front yard. They told me I got lucky because they were able to fix the issue without having to replace the entire system. But I think I just got lucky finding them.

Everythig was excellent. They showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves.

Jeff and Jason were really great to work with. They showed up on time and got right to work. When they opened the tank they found that the concrete baffle on the outgoing side of the tank was badly decomposed. While inspecting the same area outside the tank they discovered the outgoing concrete pipe connecting my tank to the drain field was badly decomposed and disconnected from the drain field. Also, they found a small crack in the upper top corner of my tank. They pumped my tank and then immediately started repairing the problems. They kept me informed throughout the process, showed me all of the damage, explained clearly what was needed, and answered all of my many questions. They brought in a small backhoe to dig a 3'x4'x4' trench to access the pipe connecting the tank to the drain field. Fortunately, my drain field was clear. They replaced the outgoing baffle and the outgoing pipe with a PVC solution. They sealed the small crack in the tank and replaced all of the dirt from the digging with minimal damage to my backyard. Everything went smoothly and I could not have been more pleased with the experience. i would highly recommend them for your septic tank needs and will be giving them a call the next time I need my tank pumped. He was deeply involved included checking for clogs back to my house, since my husband had almost fully unclogged he did not bill for a bit of extra clean. He gave me full information on my elderly system.

The company was punctual and showed up exactly when they said they would. They did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards. The total price was reasonable, and they were very professional, and explained everything that needed to be done. I would highly recommend this company.

I was very satisfied the day I called to schedule service. Mr. Chambers is very knowledgeable, and honest. When I asked questions about what their pricing covered I was told they charge a flat rate. There are no additional charges depending on how deep they have to dig to get to your tank, for how many feet of hose needed etc. I was also very satisfied the day of our service, Mr. Chambers and his son arrived early and completed the job quickly. Very professional, I will call them for all of our septic tank needs.

So glad we found JC Septic. They are local, professional, knowledgeable, honest, fair, good communicators and deliver high quality work. Replacing a septic field line is not for the faint of heart - there are county permits required, perc tests, county inspections, upheaval of your landscaping. JCSS made this as painless as possible They walked us through the entire process and helped us through some landmines, such as a less than desirable perc test. Communications were excellent - they answered all our questions quickly and patiently. They appeared on the appointed day at the expected time. Plus they finished the job on time and for the quoted price, even though they ran into some unexpected problems replacing one of our tank lids which cost them extra time. We cannot praise them enough for the extra effort they took to preserve my husband's azalea, hydrangea and peony beds and to minimize the upheaval of the lawn. We had quotes for a slightly lower price, but we found JCSS prices to be more than fair for the quality of the work. Now JCSS is the first and only company we will call for future septic services

Working with Jeff went exceptionally well. Very accommodating on his schedule and prompt. When he arrived went right to work, clearly provided advise on repair and performed the fixes on the spot. He made my life a little easier that day just through his way of doing business.

. Work was performed to spec. Contractor took special care to move and replace enhanced dirt we used as a vegetable garden. Also took care to avoid a very special oak tree in yard. Also, replaced dirt and left brush dug up in a pile at back of yard. Did a very good job taking down fence section to get access to back yard, and replacing it better than it was. Work performed on schedule and on estimate.

I was very pleased with the quality of work that was done and was impressed that Jeff (the owner) worked right along side the crew workers! They were very informative, polite and professional.

The crew arrived on time. They put down a tarp to save my sod and to store the dirt they removed from my cover. The crew was very professional and knew what they were doing. The owner Jeff Chambers was also on the job. After pumping and cleaning the tank they assisted me in determining the cause of another plumbing problem I was having. They restored the area they had dug so it was hardly noticable. I knew in advance what the total charge would be and there was no attempt at add on charges. I highly recommend this company.

house flooded at 8PM on Thursday night....looked for someone to come the next day...Jeff answered the phone at 8:30PM.....worked me in for next day...Friday before Super Bowl weekend.. Prompt..Professional..Courteous and Know what they are doing.. They solved a most UNPLEASANT problem fast and thoroughly...a CLASS Act ... If you want a bargain basement cheapo ...this is not it... BUT Who wants to gamble with THIS awful situation...you want the best..call Jeff.. Proof you get what you pay for... Taught us NOT to wait 12 years for a pump out..

The tenants in my rental home called at 9:30 pm Sunday night to report that septic had backed up in the bathrooms and they were unable to use water or flush toilets. I called JC Septic Service at 8:30 am Monday morning and spoke with owner Jeff Chambers, who was able to fit the job into his schedule the same morning. He has a set fee for the job, which he disclosed on the phone. Mr. Chambers arrived at 9:30 am with two assistants, located the buried septic tank cleanout access, cleared the clogged line and emptied the tank into the tanker truck in about an hour. They were able to locate the buried tank access immediately because he had looked it up in the on-line county records prior to his arrival, so there was minimal time and digging involved. When they were finished, they replaced the access cover, left the yard clean and replaced the turf that had been disturbed. Amazingly enough, there was no mess remaining or even lingering odor. Mr. Chambers and his men were courteous, professional and there were no hidden fees in the job, a problem we had run into last spring when we had the septic tank at our new home cleaned out by another service provider. Mr. Chambers explained the setup of the septic system and gave me his observations and recommendations as the system was old and the tank had not been emptied in many years. He honored the $25 discount for Angie's List members. Our tenants were able to resume residency with minimal disruption. I have used JC Septic Service previously for septic system inspection purposes and was impressed at that time, too. I highly recommend this company.

I used JC Septic service in February, 2014 to service a backed up sewer/septic. After pumping and inspection it was clear that I needed to replace the drain field (existing drain field over 35 years old). They scheduled the drain field replacement and handled the permit on the spot. They replaced the drain field and even planted seed and straw after they leveled the area. The true test of a recommendation is if I would use them again--WHICH I DID in July 2014 when my lower drain field backed up and needed replacement. There was no hesitation as I immediately called JC Septic and they were quick and professional. I highly recommend them.
