Called for an inspection and tank pumping due to excessive water in yard above field. Upon inspection, my 57 year old field had failed. Jeff told me how the process would go and was very clear in all steps. First was a soil test by the third party company. Next was permitting through the county which they were able to take care of. Finally we scheduled a date for installation. Estimate was exact with nothing hidden or random charges added on after signing the contract. I really appreciate them being very straight forward with how long the process would take and what would need to be done. They were able to have the new field installed in under a day and had the county inspector out the same day to sign off so my yard was not left open overnight. When they left, the yard was leveled off and ready for me to reseed or sod. It was a very pleasant experience all around.

In an industry where the typical homeowner doesn’t think much about their septic system until a problem arises, and then must ultimately rely on the judgment of the company they choose to diagnose issues and recommend work needed – whether to repair or simply pump out a septic system – all too often the homeowner is at the mercy of the contractor to determine the work to de done and cost of repairs, and is at risk of being overcharged for work that may not have been needed. JC Septic Services is a family-owned and operated business that is all about honesty and integrity. Jeff won’t recommend or sell you anything you don’t need, but will tell you up front just like it is and what needs to be done. Don’t be fooled by a company with a fancy color in their title or a catchy jingle who advertises an unbelievably low come-on price, then, oh by the way, finds more work needed here, and more work needed there, and, yes, you need this too and that as well. Before it’s all said and done, the come-on price is long gone and you’re left burdened with an enormous price tag for work that most likely did not need to be performed. If you want to rely on a business owner with honesty and integrity who won’t give you the run-around, trust Jeff. I wouldn’t call on anyone else. I highly recommend JC Septic Services!

He was very nice. It was a lot of issues. I was going to have someone come in and move my fence, to move my grass and landscaping for them to come in and do what they have to do. He's not a landscaper, he just does what he does. All of these things came into play. He said if you have nothing you can do, just stand by and wait and see what happens.The price was in the ballpark. He was reasonable. He was basically in the ballpark. He was very nice, he sound very knowledgeable. He's very professional. He came right out, he was very good. His punctuality was not that great.

They were very good about explaining everything in detail to me as well as showing me the issues (with my fingers pinching my nose!) and how they intended to resolve them. Philip arrived right on time complete with county documents about my tank. He had to dig a couple of holes--of course--which were small and which he filled and smoothed over when done. He was very careful with his surroundings so the least amount of stuff was disturbed. Owner Jeff stopped over to check out the job and be sure of my satisfaction. All very professional and took less than half the amount of time I thought it would take. I would definitely hire them again.

It went really well. They were very professional and did a great job. We had used them previously to pump our tank, and knew they were the ones to call when the system began to fail. They worked hard to leave the yard grated as best they could after they finished. We feel very confident in their work.

JC Septic came out to inspect. They opened the tanks showed us the status then checked the out going lines and showed us the problem. The problem was easily fixed and we didn't need to replace our septic field. They saved us thousands of dollars. I highly recommend having JC Septic review your situation before you spend a lot of money replacing your existing septic lines. They are very professional and we are super happy with the results.

So, this is the 3rd time in 7 months JC Septic Service has been at my house; I know what you may be thinking....what the heck is going on, right !?! In February Phillip came out to inspect the septic system of a 12 year old house I was purchasing, everything checked out okay, then in June I had JC come out to pump the tank so I would know a baseline of when the tank was pumped last. And then yesterday, Thursday 9/29 my septic pump alarm went off so I called Jeff to see if he could get someone out to check it out that day, he told me Phillip was working a job in Atlanta and would stop by afterwards. First thing I thought is that the pump went out considering the age of the system $$$ Jeff explained to me that this is what most people think is the problem when the alarm goes off; and in most cases it is not. It only took Phillip (very smart guy) a few minutes to diagnose the problem and it was not the pump; found out the pump float switch was bad and the pump was just fine, still kicking after 12 years. I just can't say enough good things about this company and their customer service; every time Phillip comes out I learn something new about how a septic system works (first home with septic). Great bunch of guys!

Based upon their already excellent reviews, I chose JC Septic Services to inspect my system. The very reasonable cost of inspection is well worth it. I was able to observe the inspection process and was provided with a septic system owner's manual which was used to help explain the findings. They were extremely professional, welcomed my inquires, patiently answered all of my questions, and offered advice on preventing system clogs and general maintenance. I was able to make an informed decision about my repair without any pressure and can now enjoy peace of mind.

Called these guys first thing in the morning and they had their crew out a little after lunch. They were very professional, answered all my questions and got the job done quickly. The price was more than reasonable and I will definitely use this company again.

Another company had told us we needed to replace the entire septic drain field for my 40 year old home and my parent's home after we experienced multiple septic tank backups. After joining Angie's List, I decided to contact this company for a second opinion. They were professional can came wth trucks stocked with the necessary parts for typical septic repair. Well educated and experienced, their guys assessed my entire system and found the issue to be a crushed pipe that connected the tank to the drain field. They were honest, took time to explain everything, and even showed us the issue. They were kind to the yard, and did a good job regrading the area they dug up. We have had no more issues with the septic system. JC saved us $10,000. I highly recommend this company, and suggest getting your tank pumped every 3 to 5 years with them.

Cannot be more complimentary. Jeff operated backhoe with ultimate skill, skimmed off sod to make it easier to replace, made holes as small as possible for easier repacking. These guys are GOOD.

This is my second time using JC Septic; the first was March 2016 to inspect the septic system of a house I was purchasing. Phillip arrived on time and went straight to work. This company is hands down the best septic company around and I wouldn't think twice about hiring them again. Phillip knows his stuff; he is an honest and good hearted person. Please, if anyone needs to have their septic system checked out call these guys.....they are the best.

Our experience with JC Septic Service was excellent. They are professional; knowledgeable; and recommended by several of our s/d homeowners. Since we had not had our septic system clean since we moved in 12 years ago; we weren't sure what to expect. We could not have been more pleased when Phillip arrived and proceeded to set-up. He was very thoughtful and very respectful of our lawn. He laid a tarp down to minimize the amount of sod / lawn he had to cut a way. Once he pumped the system; he confirmed that everything was working properly; he explained that our system for its age was in very good condition. He did explained that at the time our septic system was installed they used a concrete outlet; which appears to be deteriorating (which is normal); however, he felt it was in decent shape nothing to worry about anytime soon. After weighing the risk it could deteriorate sooner then the next service call (5-7yrs based on the current condition) and a more expensive job to repair & replace we decided to opt in replacing the concrete outlet tee with PVC (which will last forever) while Phillip was here. He had all of the pieces and tool to complete and it didn't take him very long to wrap up. By no means did he try to push us; it was entirely our call. It was an additional $400; but provided that piece of mind. JC Septic Service, has a customer for as long as we live in our home. I would highly recommend using them, if you are looking for a honest, hardworking, family-owned service that deliver great customer service & professional and knowledgeable technicians.

There was a little confusion on the appointment time, but once we cleared that up they bent over backwards to get to me and get the job done and done right. It was such a good experience I mention the mix-up only to make the point that they made it right in the best way possible. Phillip, the tech that handled my job, was very knowledgeable and professional. He was courteous, answered all my questions and offered good advice. Jeff (owner) and crew operate a solid business that is up-front and honest. No up-sales or hidden fees- the cost quoted was the cost charged. I will not use another septic service.

Jeff and his crew were here on time, actually early. They let me know when they would be here and they were here. Quoted a price and that was the price. No up-selling or any of that sort of thing. Got the tank cleaned out with no muss, no fuss. One thing I have to mention is that I'm hearing impaired and can't use the phone. I have to use email or texting for everything. I explain this to all contractors in my first email contact with them. Many seem to be reading comprehension challenged as they immediately start calling my phone. Jeff actually read and understood the email. All of our non face to face communication was by texting and email. It's refreshing to have someone that actually pays attention to what you tell them.

Jason and Phillip arrived at my house timely. I showed Jason the approx. location of the tank and he was able to quickly find the area where the lid was. Phillip found the end of the tank to check the filter. After getting to the lids and removing them they began to pump the tank out. Jason installed a filter, it should have had one and wasn't put in during the install of the tank. Both of the men were very professional, polite and answered all my questions. They were very respectful of my property and yard!!! They used a tarp to put the dirt and the sod on, when they finished they made sure any dirt on my driveway was hosed off. They did an awesome job and I really appreciate it. I will let my friends know what a good job Jason and Phillip did. Thanks to you both!

Jeff, the owner of the company, called soon after I requested a visit on Angie's list. He was very professional, and after a few questions related to tank size and past performance since our last pump-out promptly scheduled an appointment for a few days later on February 20, 2016. The team of three, including Jeff, arrived right on time. They were extremely courteous and professional. Jeff asked a few more questions about the history of the tank, and then located the tank in a few minutes. They uncovered the tank top quickly, taking care to put all the dirt on a tarp to preserve the grass, and to miss irrigation lines and control cables to sprinkler heads, which were crisscrossing just a foot above the tank outlet. They told me exactly what they were looking for, what they were doing, and what they expected to see. They also gave some in-depth explanations of the processes in waste breakdown and buildup that would effect performance of the tank. They identified a crack in the outlet Tee which was missed (I don't even think the previous company looked at the outlet part of the tank) on the last visit from a previous company. It was repaired on the spot, and the tank covered so that you could hardly see they were there. We are very satisfied, and a bit wiser on septic tank operation and maintenance. Thank you JC Septic.
