My septic tank was full which prevented any drainage. I could not run any water in the house without having it run over from one of the toilets. I called Jeff and told him my problem. He asked me a few questions and then he clearly explained the details and cost of his service. He arrived at my house within 2 hours. Since I did not know what type of system I had or even where it was he advised me of all the possibilities and the cost associated with them. He quickly found the tank and got right to work. Once the work was completed he cleaned everything up and wanted me to inspect to make sure I approved of everything and was happy. There were no suprises in the cost. I highly recommed JC Septic Service. Very professional and honest. Does not try to upsell. I have already marked my calender to call him for my next service in 5 years. A+++

Called on Wed, made appt for following day, promptly arrived and located tank, removed cover, and pumped clean. Inspected and gave it a clean bill of health. Replaced cover, filled & leveled hole, and left. Good job! In and out in 1.5 hours.

We contacted this company in search of a lower estimate, but decided that going with them would be no bargain.

I needed to have our septic system pumped out as routine maintenance as it had not been done since we bought the house in 1995. I called JC Septic and talked to Jeff Chambers (owner) and he asked a number of questions about our septic system; age, type, issues, etc. He was very courteous and I asked a number of questions and he answered all of them professionally. He then gave me a quote for the work and when I agreed to the estimate, scheduled a day and time at my convenience a couple of days later. He and his two sons arrived a little early on the day promised and took a little time to locate the tanks (1500 and 1000 gallon tanks) so as to disturb as little of the lawn as possible. After locating the tanks, they began digging by hand to ensure there were no other utilities in the area to be excavated, before bringing in their small backhoe to expose the top of the tanks. The tanks were much deeper (3 feet and 4 feet) below the finish grade than they usually encounter, but that did not faze them. They were pinpoint accurate on the tank covers (they said luck, but I suspect it was more than that). They pumped both tanks with an amazing suction system that allowed the tank truck to be about 90 feet away from the tanks, so the truck could remain on the driveway rather than needing to drive on the lawn. They then inspected both tanks and indicated that both were in great shape and would not need to be repumped at the typical five year frequency, because of the large size of the tanks, the tanks being in series and the fact that the system was designed for our five bedroom house and there were only three people living in it. He also offered suggestions on things to ensure the tanks and the entire system would continue to operate efficiently for years to come. They then replaced the tank covers, and backfilled the holes, compacting the soil as they filled and leveled the area back to original elevations. When they finished, the only indication that they were there were the two areas with no grass on the backfilled dirt. The bill was as estimated and I could not be happier with the work. This is a long time family owned business where the owner and his sons do everything. They are very knowledgeable, professional and hard working. Even though I was just the first of three jobs scheduled for that day, they did not rush or short cut the work, even though it was more work than usual. I would certainly recommend them to family and friends and use them again.

Called twice to get a quote for septic tank cleaning. Site says they service Hall county. On second call I was able to speak to someone. They asked where we lived and I told them within hall county. Person was not receptive to servicing my area and not very professional. When I told them I say they serviced my area on Angie's list, they said they "could do my tank then" and they "would have to charge extra for travel". I am fine with not being able to be serviced, but you can be polite and professional about it AND describe your service area in more detail so as not to waste others time.

I contacted Mr Chambers regarding the maintenance of the septic tank. He asked how old the septic tank was and what I wanted done. He gave me an estimate and arranged an appointment that was convenient to me. On the day assigned, he came promptly and was even a few minutes early. The truck was parked in the driveway and the hose extended to the site of the pump which he found quite easily. The job was done quickly and efficiently. I was even given a status report and was advised of future available service in five years. Very impressed with the work and professionalism and I would definitely use this company again.

We were one of the lucky ones - in a 35-year old house (we've been here 9), someone took good care of the tank before. Indeed family owned - Jason's granddad started the business, Jason and his dad Jeff now own it, and his cousin is part of the crew. Friendly, professional, honest, COMPETENT people. They even happily put up with (and knew all the answers to) my incessant questions! Their truck, by the way, was absolutely spotless - it should be - they wash it twice a week. Just great folk.

Went as he predicted. He said 3 days. Took 3 days. They started on day they said they would. They didn't damage any fencing or shrubs that were adjacent to work area. They did a good job cleaning up driveway (washed it ) after all that red clay had been dug up. This was important because we were in middle of trying to sell house.

Could not have been better - prompt, clean, courteous, and no attempt to "up-sell"

Jeff was very thorough and definitely went the extra mile! We had bought our home 10 years ago, the tank had not been serviced since then, and we did not even know for sure where the tank cover was located. Before starting, he took the initiative to go to the county records to pull the relevant reports that showed the tank to be in a place we never would have found otherwise, then hand dug to find and pull up the concrete slab cover so as not to disturb the landscaping. Inspection revealed that the tank nad probably never been serviced - at least since the extension of the tile field by the previous owner. There was a cracked tee-outlet at the far end of the tank that could have been remedied by digging up the front walk and probably killing two shade trees whose roots would have been cut through. Instead, he donned a protective suit and mask and walked down the length of the tank to replace the outlet from the inside. Above and beyond! The landscaped area was put back into place so that the disturbance is hardly noticeable. I didn't even mention the coupon: he earned the full fee, and I have peace of mind.

Our experience with JC Septic has paid for years of membership with Angie's List. Our septic alarm went off on Sunday and for us as first time homeowners, we had no idea what was going on. I came to Angie's List and found JC Septic. Called, spoke to Mr. Jeff Chambers, and he said he'd "swing by" after he finished his current job. Swinging by turned into a complete examination of our tanks and some hard work on his part to clear our caps. He told us in detail what was wrong, what we should do to prevent the issue in the future, and really educated us on our system. He was thorough, professional, kind, and courteous. He came out today to finish the root removal we desperately needed and to service our filters. He came in under his estimate and for the sheer amount of work he did, we would have paid a lot more (and easily could have elsewhere). He and his crew cleaned up everything and he had me test the system with flushing and didn't leave 'til I was done. We are now customers for life. I can't speak highly enough of JC Septic!

I'm buying a home from 1987 in Suwanee, GA. Scheduled for Thursday 9:30AM. Arrived on time. Jason was very pleasant. His assistant seemed nice and polite but didn't talk much. The service took about 2 hours to complete. The inspection revealed the tank was cement. The tank was in very good shape given its age and the drain fields seemed clear. The repair cost if the main reason for assigning a B for price. The inspection did find that the concrete outlet tee had significantly decayed near the top. Jason and his assistant charged $395 to repair the tee which seemed quite expensive for the labor and materials involved. The repair probably took about 30 minutes total. The materials for the repair included a PVC pipe with a PVC tee, PVC glue, stone cement mix, and water. A more reasonable price for this repair seems like $100. The $100 estimate is based on $25 an hour person person labor rate (for 30 minutes) and a very high materials cost of $50. Jason was paid for the cleaning, inspection, and certification immediately by the seller. During the repair work the seller agreed to pay for the repair work at closing. Jason was willing to accept payment at the closing table for the repair work. I would definitely use them again. Given what I know about the repair cost-to-value ratio. I might haggle the repair price.

The job was well done and it came in at the quoted price. They communicated well with me and did the work that they said they were going to do. I would call them back in the future.

Jeff Chambers is a great guy. I saw that his office hours went until Saturday at 7 p.m. I called around 6:25 p.m. on a Saturday night. Although he was at a graduation dinner, he had me to give him brief information over the phone and then we agreed to talk again on Monday if I left him the details of what I wanted and my contact information on his cell phone. He was always very responsive and answered every question since I had never had my septic tank pumped and this was a new experience for me. We probably had about 2 or 3 conversations so that I was clear on things and he gave me the pricing on either a 1000 or 1500 gallon tank since I didn't know the size. His son and another guy came out to do the job and we had a 1000 gallon tank. There had to be an additional $150 digging fee since our builder had buried the tank further than the 18" depth required by the county. This isn't unusual to me since our builder has done several things that weren't normal. To avoid this fee in the future, he suggested putting in a riser so that they could reach the tank without all of the digging. Since they weren't prepared to do that on this day, he offered to come back the next day to complete the job and to charge us for the work. Everything was straight forward and to the point and it made this first experience with a septic tank very easy. It's a great family owned company and he will even send us a post card when it's time to clean out the pump again. I couldn't ask for better service.

They came pumped our large, old septic tank. They originally could not find the tank, but they searched for over an hour and were able to find. Very professional job, and I will hire them for more serious issues if they arise.

JC did exactly what they said they would do at an excellent price. They "ball-parked" the estimate higher than the job actually entailed, so I was pleased that the job came in a little lower. The baffle to the lines had deteriorated and had to be repaired. They put in new PC pipe from the tank and connected it to the drain field. I had gotten an estimate from another company for $1600 for this work. Good job, JC. They were professional and friendly and gave us good advice. I would use them again...next time, hopefully, it will only be for a pump-out.

It was a pleasure dealing with this company. Jeff came out after I called him complaining of standing water in the yard. My house is only 3 years old so we were upset the septic field had failed. Jeff installed a better system than what had put here the first time. He did soil samples to find the best spot and moved the lines to a better location. He educated me on septic systems which helped a lot and I found him to be very trustworthy. He is my new septic man from now on.

We started noticing septic odors in the basement after heavy rains. JC Septic determined that the septic tank just needed to be serviced, and found no other problems. He arrived exactly on schedule. What I liked most is that he didn't try to push additional services (such as chemicals).

Without problem and as expected. The tank was located and pumped. I also had JC install an new cover with extensions to make future access easier. No need for digging in the future and it makes access a breeze.

They did a great job. They were very nice young men, supervised by their father, who is the owner of the business. They were very thorough. I was very pleased with their service.

Great service and knowledgeable. They came when they said they were going to. Found the tank, diagnosed the problems, fixed problems, and returned yard to its previous condition. Spoke with my wife and she was comfortable with dealing with them. I would definitely use them again.

Everything went well. We had to have the tank pumped as a condition of selling our house. He had to cancel the first two appointments due to bad weather, but he gave adequate notice and rescheduled promptly. Jeff was on time and performed the work for the price quoted over the phone. While they were there, my husband was moving a couple of pieces of furniture and they even offered to help!

In scheduling the work, I spoke with the owner, Jeff Chambers, and Jason. Both were professional and straight-forward to deal with. I had a last minute change to when I had initially scheduled them to do the work, and they were very flexible. On the rescheduled day, they showed up when they said they would, did the work as described for the price quoted. They dug up a minimum amount of my yard to get to the tank, and replaced the dirt and sod. They did not try to sell us additional services. All in all, a job very well done - I would recommend them highly.

Jeff Chambers was very pleasant, did the work on a weekend. Determined fields were in disrepair. He provided a quote on replacing the fields that was reasonable. We are waiting on the county to determine if a sewer tap is available.
