Excellent Job Performance. The crew worked very hard to insure that the impact of this project was minimal on my household. They took great care to minimize the amount of dirt and mud on areas adjacent to the various trenches. Very helpful in preventing children and dogs from tracking the mud/dirt into the house. I am also impressed with JC's Septic Services rapid response to my request for the quote to perform the work and the time required to complete the project. The longest step from start to finish was getting the Gwinnett County Permit to perform the work. Do: Plan on getting a dumpster for any debris (trees, shrubs, etc) that need to be removed. Do: Plan on re-landscaping effected areas Don't: Forget that inclement weather can delay work of this nature.

Overall the service was fantastic! Jason and a co-worker arrived at my home exactly at the promised time, located the septic tank, pumped my septic tank. During all this he was explaining to a curious homeowner(myself) about the whole process, what to look for, signs of failing septics, etc. Both Jason and his co-worker were extremely friendly. Total time to do it all was less than what I expected. I plan to tell all my neighbors about their service! I would definitely use them the next time my system needs to be cleaned out!!!

Jeff and crew were extremely professional. I called with an emergency and they were here within an hour. Great customer service, performed work in a timely manner and cost was reasonable. Will definitely be using JC Septic for any of our future septic needs.

Great experience. I had a back up in my house, they came out that day, a few hours after my call. They found the septic tank which I had planted a tree over 10 years earlier. Came back the next day as they had to remove the tree and stump. It took them 2 hours to do that and they hauled it off upon completion of the job. The little backhoe they used was light and did not harm the grass it had to go over to get to the tank. Smiles and no problems attitude from all of them. Quoted the job upfront, no surprises when it came time to settle up.Money well spent and a good experience to match.

I called And spoke with someone on July 4th, in the evening and he said he would send someone out the next day at 2 pm. He was very nice and professional and even talked a little about pricing on the phone and asked me how old my house was so he could determine how big of a tank I have so that he could estimate the cost. The employee arrived about 25 minutes early, which impressed me! He was very kind and professional and you could tell he knew what he was doing. He found the lid to the septic tank in a matter of just a minute and used his bobcat to dig. He didn't have to dig much, and had laid a tarp down to put the dirt on so that cleanup was easy. He talked with me to let me know what he could tell about the job while he was pumping the tank, and then had me flush the toilets to make sure they flushed ok. He said the tank looked good. He put the dirt back just the way it was taken out and you couldn't tell it had been dug! Very pleased with everything from start to finish and believe the price was fair. Thank goodness for Angie's list so that I could find a reputable company to do business with!!!

After our horrible experience with another company (see our other reviews), it was a pleasure to work with true professionals, who take pride in their work and do a great job. JC Septic came highly recommended, quoted a very reasonable price, and did a fantastic job. They replaced our drain field in only two days - installed the first day and had the county inspection done the following morning, after which they covered the yard, graded it flat with a bobcat, and covered it all with straw to prevent erosion of the soil. Everyone we dealt with was extremely professional, the job was done quickly and perfectly, my yard left in great condition, I can't say enough good things about this company. I only wish we'd have hired them first - and we will definitely call them for future service when the tank needs pumped, etc., given their quality work I don't anticipate any more problems with the drain field. Highly recommended!

They were right on time and quickly located the tank (which was not were we thought it was). They put a tarp down next to where they were digging and carefully placed the sod and dirt on it. They cleaned out the tank and inspected it. They showed us that the concrete T-valve was breaking and replaced it with a new PVC one. When they were done, they carefully filled in the hole and replaced the sod. You could hardly tell that they had been digging there. JC Septic is very professional, prompt, experienced and knowledgeable. After the Angie's list coupon, the total charges came to $745, which we felt was reasonable considering the fact that they saved us thousands of dollars by doing preventive maintenance. We highly recommend JC Septic and would not hesitate to call them again!

Excellent response to initial phone call and service was scheduled for the following day. Grass was replaced neatly over the septic tank after it was pumped and cleaned. Very professional and excellent service.

It was very quick: only an hour from start to finish, and like other reviewers indicated, the team of two arrived a few minutes earlier than scheduled.

I did ask on the phone before I hired them, whether I could anticipate other charges on arrival as I've seen this before. While we agreed they could not foresee every possible situation, I was led to believe that $425 would cover all the normal services that are associated with pumping a 1000 gal septic tank. Having done that, I was a little upset about the $200 charge for cleaning the T-Valve, but I guess you can charge whatever you want if your are willing to climb into someone's septic tank! LOL No repairs were required on the valve - the tech just had to use a long metal rod to clear some debris that was obstructing the flow into the tank. Outstanding company with impeccable work ethic, which is great to see! I gave a B rating only because of price - JC Septic seems to exceed the price of comparable companies with similar ratings by about 20%. I chose them for this job because time was a factor and I could not get another company with comparable rating to come to the house on the same day. That being said, the employees are fantastic, friendly, straight forward, and HONEST. JC Septic will do the job right and not cut corners. If you don't mind paying a few dollars more for piece-of-mind, JC Septic would be a great choice!

I E-mailed the company on Thanksgiving Day and got a call-back that afternoon. As agreed, the guys arrived the next morning and made an assessment that my septic tank's Tee was clogged with a root ball. They removed that, then drained the tank. They also speculated that my concrete outlet might be about worn out because of age. It was. A simple poke and it fractured. I have a paver brick sidewalk and they very carefully disassembled it and then reassembled it when the job was done. They were professional, conscientious and efficient. All I can say is WOW! I found JC Septic Service on Angie's List with extremely high ratings. I called on a Saturday afternoon, spoke with Jeff Chambers, and he setup an appointment for Monday afternoon. On Monday afternoon, Jason Chambers showed up exactly at the appointment time. He was very professional and a really nice guy. I showed him where the tank was, and he got to work. When the job was done, he presented a completed invoice, with the Angie's List coupon already deducted, and I gave him a check. Also, my septic tank doesn't have an above-ground clean-out port, so they have to dig down to the tank. When they were done with the job, all of the dirt and pinestraw was back in place as if they were never there. Again, wow! I was really impressed with these guys. It was so simple, professional, and at the right price. I will absolutely use JC Septic Service in the future not just for pumping my septic tank but for any septic services I need.

The experience went very well considering it could have been a costly "fix". After having a sewage backup, I desparately called several companies on Sunday morning but was unable to reach a live person. After reaching out to friends where Angie's List was mentioned I checked it out, joined the service and found a listing of recommendations. I read thru several but returned to JC because of the comments that were reported. I called and Mr. Chambers responded promising to be out in 2 hrs. He came out and opened the tank and showed me that the tank was filled "to the brim". He indicated that because the tank was so full, it indicated that the water was not exiting the tank and that meant a possible failure in the line which could be anywhere from $500 to $ 6,000 dependent on where he found the damage. He explained that the initial charge would be $500 to come back out open the tank where the exit line was and begin his inspection at that point. If that area was okay he would have to further probe the field at critical points. (He had the gas company to mark their line from the street to the house in preparation for the dig). On Monday October 3rd as arranged he came back out with his back hoe and begin the dig. I watched for much of the time anticipating what I would see and how much this would cost. When the tank was opened, sitting in the exit pipe was a filter. As Mr. Chambers explained "some not so bright person" sold the previous owner a filter for the tank. He indicated that some tanks, (newer types) mine is 26 years old ---were not meant for filters so given that it (the filter) was caked in sewage the water was not getting out to the drain field and thus over time created the backup in my line. After a good flush thru and no water returning in the tank, he felt that he had found the culprit and did not need to dig any further. He indicated that if there were any additional problems to give him a call and he would return and use my payment towards any further work. I felt that his approach was honest,--He just didn't say "well you need a new drain field" He promised to start at the exit of the tank water and diagnose from their out. In my case it was found right at the exit point, so we did not need to dig any further. Maybe 2 hrs, and it was done. This was my 2nd time pumping the tank. The first time I had it pumped was during the first year of ownership, so I would be able to keep up when it was time for future cleanings. So I also learned that my tank has 4 small covers and not just the one I had used previously for the opening. If he has to come back, I'll keep you posted as these reports were very helpful. I have sent out email recommending Mr. Chambers and no doubt will use him again if I have to. Note:

We've lived in this house for 11 years and haven't had the septic tank pumped since the week we moved in. Feeling like we were living on borrowed time, we sent JC Septic Service an email on Thursday. They called within a few hours to discuss and set a date/time. Within about 24 hours of that first email inquiry, the job was done! They were careful on our property, courteous, and efficient. The whole process took about one hour. The total cost was $475 but we paid $470 with the $25 Angie's List coupon. We put this off for years thinking it would be inconvenient, expensive, and scar our yard. None of that was true! At least not with JC Septic Service. I will definitely use this company7 again and refer my friends to them also. Thank you, JC!

The experience was very good. Jeff was very responsive via email in getting the appointment scheduled. We thought there was one tank for them to clean, but it turns out we have two. They cleaned both tanks + the motor area to be sure all was in working order. Very pleasant, friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend working with them.

Got a problem with your septic tank or need regular service? This is the business to contact. I called on Monday and Tuesday morning the job was finished. Hopefully, I won't need to even think about the septic system 'til I get a reminder post card in five years from JC Septic Service reminding me to schedule a return visit. The price was as quoted (including the Angie's List coupon) & the service professional and complete. Highly recommended.

I contacted JC Septic Service on June 22 to get a quote on pumping out my septic tank and perhaps schedule an appointment. The dispatcher was very pleasant and quoted me a price of $395.00 for a routine cleaning and with a $25.00 Angie's List coupon, the final price was $370.00. I agreed to have the work done and it was scheduled for that Friday morning. Jason arrived promptly at 10:00. He immediately got to work locating the tank, digging by hand to the top of the tank, removing the lid and inserting the hose to begin the pumping. During the pumping, we discussed the age of the tank and the fact it was begining to deteriorate and would need to be replaced in the not too distant future. I was aware the tank would soon need replacement as I had the drain field replaced in 2003 and was told at that time that the old tank, a 750 gallon tank installed in 1959, would eventually have to be replaced. Jason gave me an estimate of $3,000 to install a 1,000 gallon tank, which I would have to have because Dekalb requires that as the minimum tank capacity. He also left me some brochures describing the installation process and the products that would be used. The tank was completely cleaned out in about an hour. The whole process took less than two hours and I found Jason to be professional and personable throughout. I was please with the experience overall and found the price fair. When the time comes, I have no doubt JC Septic Tank will be at the top of my list of contractors to install a new septic tank.

I have used JC Septic one other time in the past and they are the most professional company you are going to find. Period. Both of my experiences were exactly the same. A man showed up with a truck towing a trailer with a small excavator on the back and began digging up the lid of the tank. The owners son then showed up about 10 minutes later to supervise the job and explain what was going on. They took great care in digging up my lawn and when they were gone, there was little evidence that they had been there. At some point in the future, I will need to have my entire septic system replaced and this is the company that will be doing it.

I called a few places (off of Angie's list) but selected JC Septic because of the number of reviews as well as the fact they quoted the best price (plus had an Angie's List coupon). They called a few days before the scheduled service and had to reschedule but it was handled professionally and he was very apologetic. They called the day before to confirm we still wanted the service and arrived promptly. It was taken care of in quick time with no damage at all to our backyard. My neighbor and I both had this taken care of at the same time and he honored the coupon for both of us. Very professional, courteous, good service and a fair price.

Mr. Chambers arrived promptly and I showed him where the general location of the tank was located and I let him do his job. I had a filter in this tank which should not have been placed in that older model which could have caused problems unless I wanted the tank pumped out every year. So I had that removed. He was very professional and just a very nice person. I would recommend his company highly!

Jeff Chambers is the owner. We found them online and all the reviews that we saw online definitely lived up to the expectation. We spent about $4500. We did get an estimate from them and they seemed a little high. When we called around, a lot of people wanted to say a lot lower. We talked to other companies and we found that they were a reputable company even though we spent a few hundred dollars. The guy who came out was very knowledgeable about what he was doing. He was very informative with any questions I had and I did have a lot of questions. We ultimately went with them because we knew that there was some cost involved, but this guy knew upfront and we knew exactly what to expect. He provided good service. He was a good and trustworthy guy. He wasn?t trying to pull something over us. We didn?t have problems except for a big bill that we got. It was a wonderful job. You pay for what you get. He was out that day itself and that was a Sunday too. I have definitely recommended them and I would definitely use their services in the future too.

They were very, very good. We had him come out and look at our system because we had a failed drain that we had put in six years ago. We were going to have to have it moved to the front yard and we were very concerned about the tree that I had out there. I was concerned about whether to move the tank up front. I was also concerned that the front yard did not have very good drainage. He was extremely patient and very knowledgeable. He never minded me calling him to ask extra questions and I do that. I pick up a lot on how a business is if they are bothered by me asking another questions or an email or anything like that. He was great. He came out a couple of times. He was not necessarily the cheapest that I got but I felt better with what he suggested and what he said. He knew that I was researching everything that he said. It was a very professional job. He was here on-site most of the time but not the whole time. They did as little damage as they could possibly do to my front yard when they finished. They knew that I did not want my whole front yard torn up. They did an excellent job. They dug the ditches that were needed and they put in the system. They added an extra tank in the back because I had to have some extra work done. I am not very knowledgeable about the terminology but they just did a great job. He was very hands-on, very professional and knowledgeable about the work he does. He is very approachable and friendly. I could ask him anything. He came right out and said that he may not be the cheapest estimate--and he was not the cheapest estimate that I got--but he said that he would be very thorough. I could tell that he knew his work. I researched as much as I could and I could not find any discrepancies in what he was telling me although I did not know as much as he did. I liked the fact that he was conscientious in not destroying the entire yard. They were very careful and they literally went from corner to corner in my yard but I had a lot of area in my yard that had not been disturbed. That was really nice because he could have gotten in there and torn up the entire yard. They left it level. He offered to come back out and said that after it has rained on it a month or so, he would come back and re-grade it. He did not have to make that offer. I did not need him to do that because I ended up having landscaping done by another landscaping company. I have since talked to him about some other things that I had some questions about and he was very friendly about it. He said that if it's needed that he would stop by and take a look. I had some questions regarding the system in the back because of my landscaping. He stood by his work and he would not hesitate to come out if there was a problem. He was willing to come out later and I thought that it was very professional. He wants to keep a customer and it showed. I would absolutely use his services in the future and I have already referred him.
