A salesman from HomeCraft came to quote us replacement gutters. Very nice and profession gentleman, but the charm wore off rather quickly. He presented the completion's gutters and toppers, of course discrediting them all. HomeCraft's product was presented last, and he wrote down a $9K figure. I almost fell out of my chair. Then he proceeded to take off this, that and the other discounts until it was almost half, which was still about $1500 over other quotes I received. He proceeds to make a call to a 'supervisor' and tells me during this call I can get an even better deal if I sign right then and get installed the next day. I said no thank you. Later that day a get a text about my quote and I tell them, again, "No Thank You" I have received four text this week alone asking why I refused the quote. When I reply, I get crickets.... no response at all. Then, the next day I get the same text. I have since blocked their number. Hopefully these are not robo text, and will start coming from a different number. I think it a very poor way to sale a product by marking it way up and then applying discounts to make the consumer feel they are getting a deal. I would not recommend them to anyone.
