Fish Window Cleaning

The process was quick and easy. The guys were polite and very efficient. Our windows were dirty from a few years of neglect and also dusty from recent renovations. Our windows looked great after, no streaks and very clean. Would highly recommend them and plan to use them again in the future.

It went very well. Two techs were at the home for 2-3 hours doing the work. They did leave off a couple of screens.

The called at the appointment time to notify me they would be a hour and 45 mins late. They were very friendly and courteous. I failed to fully inspect the job before they left. Unfortunately in their hurry to depart they failed to replace several of the screens they removed. They also left dirty fingerprints on several of the interior windows and blinds. Several of the windows were left open after they replaced the screens.

Everything went fine. They did a good job.

It went great. Mike is professional in appearance and behavior and an easy guy to deal with. His two person crew came on time and went to work. Mike came in the afternoon to check their progress and felt they were a little behind. So he called in another worker to handle the inside window cleaning and he put on his work clothes to help the outside guys finish up. In short, Mike priced the job fairly, did what he said he would do, and made us feel good about hiring him for this job.

They did a great job. They were on time. There were a few spots but they were happy to go back over them.

Excellent service. The crew of two were not only on time but a little early. They quickly went to work and did an excellent job. My windows hadn't been done on the outside in a while so really needed it. They were very professional and thorough. I would highly recommend them.

This company's rep, Mike, came out, and I described the job to the best of my ability, pointing out that there was mold and spiderwebs on the outside windowsills that needed to be removed. I was given a price of $285 for what I thought included cleaning the windows, inside and out (including the mold growing and spiderwebs on the outside windowsills). The two workers arrived and began working on the agreed date, after moving a heavy potted rubber plant and the also heavy doormat from the front porch and placing them in the yard. At some point it became necessary for me to give the workers a check and leave for an appointment, even though they were not quite finished. I again pointed out the spiderwebs and mold on the windowsills. A few hours later, I returned home to find the workers gone and the plant and doormat still in the yard. I had to use handtrucks to get the plant back up on the porch. Further inspection revealed debris on the back porch, and the corners were not adequately cleaned. Even worse, the mold and spider webs on the outside windows were untouched. I contacted the company, and one of the workmen came back to finish the job that I felt I had paid for. This worker did not apologize for any of the problems with this job, instead informing me the outside windowsills were not a part of their work order, and that I normally would have to pay extra for that. I was not happy with the quality of this work at all, and I would not recommend this company to anyone else.

Very professional, showed up on time in a uniform. Both employees were very pleasant introduced themselves and in the end did a great job. Very satisfied would definitely recommend them.

There are 80 windows in my 3 story house and some of them are very difficult to reach, but Fish Window Cleaning kept at it until they got the job done to my satisfaction. They are professional, hard-working, and honest. Mike is a man of his word and I value that as much as the services he provided for me.

This experience certainly started off badly. Ironically, this was my FIRST experience with Angie's. It began on April 11, 2013 with an inability to complete my order on line so I called Angies. I tried to explain my two problems (the online ordeal and not knowing what was involved with arranging for Angie's list of services). There was a communication problem with the Angie's person and she left me with the expectation that the service provider would call me within 24 hours to arrange a date for the service. I heard nothing throughout the month of April and on May 10th I called Fish Window Cleaning. Although my call was during the normal business hours, I could not reach a person so I left a message to return my call. On May 12th, the second day after my call - which happened to be on a Sunday, the service provider called me and said he was unaware of my purchase of service from his company through Angie's. He arranged to come to my house on May 15th to determine what equipment, etc., would be needed for the work. The work is scheduled to be performed on May 22nd. The service provider was very, very courteous and restored my confidence that it was not a mistake to have purchased the service. In spite of the difficulty of getting started on my "home improvement projects", The provider finished the job and I was pleased.

At the end of the day, the technician informed me that they had found it necessary to scrape nearly every window on the outside. We have approximately 38 windows. Then - when the bill was presented - I learned that a window did not consist of an entire window - the top of the window was considered a window and the bottom of the window is considered a separate window. So each window unit was actually $10/window/side. My quote for cleaning the windows was $395. My final bill was nearly double that quote. Also, we seem to have more windows now than before the cleaning that have lost their seal, causing moisture to seep between the panes. Maybe a coincidence. I will not use this company again simply because the cost quoted for scraping was not made clear. Any normal person would consider a double-hung sash window unit to be a single window. The technician did give us a small discount at the end of the day - I did not complain to him about the cost - I just wrote the check and chalked it up to a lesson learned.

They sent two guys out. They missed a couple of windows but they did a good job overall. One of the guys was very nice and competent. They did a good job.

They could not come do the original appointment because they said the rain we were having that morning was why they couldn't do it. We had to reschedule the appointment. When they came out to clean the windows I had to offer boot covers to the worker coming inside to protect my white carpets. He said he would take off his shoes while he was inside but one time He came in with his boots on. I asked the worker how long he's been doing this, he said only a couple months and was just helping out to make a few extra dollars. Another worker who had been washing the outside of the windows started to come in my house without covers for his shoes and I offered him booties as well and he accepted and put them on. The same worker who came into my house the first time was working on the windows and he wasn't careful with the dripping water, I asked why he hadn't cleaned up the water and wanted to know if he needed a drop cloth down and he said he cleaned it up later after he was finished. He instead cleaned it at this time, but I later realized he didn't clean up some other windows he had done. There was a window I noticed upstairs that had not even been touched, I stopped him on his way out and He said he couldn't figure out how to access the window but he should have been able to do it. Over the summer we had a lot of spiders and I asked them to please clean off the spider webs when they cleaned them, I can see now that there are still spider webs, the windows that they did clean the spider webs off they left all the gunk on the window seal and the windows are not completely clean. They missed cleaning some of my other windows altogether. I called the number for the company about 5 minutes after they left to let them know they forgot some windows that should have been cleaned and i have got no response back.

Received a FREE quote. They power washed my house. They were on time, professional and did an amazing job! Would definitely recommend.

Mike the owner contacted me the very next day after my coupon purchase. That was good. He was willing and came out the next afternoon to do a quote even though I could not be here. That was good. I contacted him to schedule the work. He stated that he was already booked for the next week and he would contact me once he had a more definitive start day. After a week plus I recontacted him and he apologized that he had been delayed by weather setbacks. Not so good, I'm a little suspicious here but decide to go forward. We set up a start day and the workers (John & Jason) arrive near the end of the arrival window time frame. John is the lead man on the job. Jason is an 18 year old trainee. John was courteous. Jason, not so much (typical teenager attitude). The work begins. Jason has the job of coming into our home and collecting all the screens to take outside to be wiped and washed. He doesn't even wear covers over his shoes, he kept leaving the front door open, and he did not return furniture to its origins after moving it to get screens out. Not good. Meanwhile, John is washing the house. At some point John has Jason take over washing windows. Several hours later both John and Jason state they are done. I inform them they were supposed to do driveway per Mikes quote. They call mike to confirm and then proceed to unpack the equipment once again. Not good. I also point out there is standing water on the rear patio. Jason tells me it's because my patio isn't graded correctly. I tell him that's why they have push brooms to use. He then states, quite rudely that they do not have push brooms on their truck. Really? I ask him what kind cleaning business has no brooms. He just ignores my question. Not good. At that point I have to pick up children from school so I go ahead and pay out the job and sign the completion order. When I return they are gone. I do a walk thru and find screens left in house that never got wiped or washed, i find upper level window ledges not sufficiently clean. I find dirty screens still on my attached garage. I find the exterior of garage itself had not even been washed. Also, the standing water on the rear patio was still there. Thus I call Mike the owner back up. We set up another work day to rectify the problems. Not good. Both John and Jason return. We do a walk thru and clarify what needs done still. At this point the standing water on back patio is creating black spots.Also at that point I decide to not have them clean the screens because I have already put them in storage and I instead opt for the cash value. By the end of their work they did clean what they were originally hired to do BUT not before the proud confused teenager poured a bleaching solution on my back composite deck instead of my rear concrete patio! At that point Mike himself showed up and apologized. He offered to bleach the whole deck so it would match...Really??? Or he offered to file an insurance claim, which I selected. It took three months for his insurance to process out and he never kept me in the loop; I always called him to see where things were at in the repair. In the end my entire deck had to be replaced!

The service person called to let me know he'd be a little late, then arrived a bit sooner than he said. He was polite and professional. He moved everything carefully out of the way as needed, and put it all back when finished. He put booties on over his shoes each time he came inside the house. Once he was finished, he had me inspect all the windows and then went back and redid any areas that were not completely clean. The windows were very dirty to begin with, and now they look great. I have no complaints about this company.

We received a very high estimate. They were running a special through Angie's list but did not honor since I would be a new customer.
