Clymore Mold Remediation

I can’t say enough good things about Clymore! I’d been having recurring sinus infections for months. We found a large spot of black mold in our garage, and had suspicions about other areas where we could smell that unmistakable mildew/mold odor in hidden locations in the kitchen and bathroom. I purchased an Angie’s List deal for a mold inspection from Clymore, and they called me almost immediately to set up our appointment. Troy came out and inspected my 3 areas of concern and he was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He took the time to answer all of my questions, explain my options and give details about all of their processes for remediation. He even told me stories of other folks he has seen with respiratory issues and some of the remedies they sought. CJ sent us a very reasonable quote that evening, and we made the decision to use Clymore. They scheduled our treatment around our household schedule, showed up exactly on time, and performed all of the remediation procedures within hours. The crew was experienced and professional, and answered all of my questions. Our house was cluttered from a renter moving in, and they were gracious about having to work around our mess. We had the large patch in the garage removed and repaired, and had the areas inside our home fogged with a mold treatment. In addition, they fogged our HVAC system to kill anything that might be hiding in the vents or pipes. When we returned home, I was shocked that the air was noticeably cleaner. That night was the first time in over a month that I slept soundly through the night without waking up from coughing spells every 4 hours when my decongestant wore off. I am looking forward to breathing easier for years to come thanks to Clymore!

Both Troy and Mark have done a fantastic job in communicating & implementing all that we needed done to water seal after cleaning out mold in our crawl space. They also serviced our HVAC system and replaced duct work, as well as digging a new drain line to avoid future standing water problems. We are very pleased with their work and the efficiency of our HVAC system now.

Responded promptly to my first request as my wife had been diagnosed with hyper sensitive Aspergillus. Troy did a thorough inspection (on the weekend) and provided several options. He was also very informative, knowledgeable and did not try any hard sell techniques. They were able to begin the following week due to my wife's condition as we had to move out of the house for 5 day period. We followed up with continuing remediation on the interior and exterior of our sunroom plus replacing the ceiling in our den as mold was found around our chimney on the "attic side of" ceiling. Mark did a tremendous job on replacing the ceiling and the appropriate cleaning. They spent over 2 weeks making sure the job was done professionally and correctly. Obviously I highly recommend these guys... honest, quality, followup, knowledge, and promptness are their trademarks.

They came last week, and got us seen and taken care of within a week. Very timely if you ask me. They were very informative and even though our job was a small one, they treated it the same as any other. Troy listened to me and he was very responsive! Would definitely hire them again!

We recently purchased a home a discovered a "wet wall" as we were painting. We located the water source and had that repaired. We were then referred to Clymore Mold Remediation and Mark and Troy were extremely responsive. Troy came out to our home and identified the mold issues within and under our home. Troy explained in detail what they would need to do in order to remove the mold. This included setting up containment, removing sheetrock and insulation. Spray and clean framework, treat home with ozone. The same completed in the crawlspace. Troy and Mark completed the work in an extremely timely fashion. They kept us informed every step of the way and have been an absolute pleasure to work with. They are left our home clean and neat. I would highly recommend Clymore Mold Remediation to anyone in need of mold remediation services. Troy, Mark and CJ are very professional, responsive and knowledgeable.

We were in negotiations to purchase a house and discovered mold based on testing by a mold examiner. Clymore based their quote on this inspection and guaranteed the mold would be removed. After completing the remediation we had another test done and the mold was not removed and in fact was worse then the 1st test. Clymore claimed since they were not there they wouldn't agree to the results so we had to have a 3rd test done for which Clymore was present and this result was worse then the 1st two. We had both air and culture test done the 3rd time to prove this was not done correctly. We walked away from the house so I can not say what is happening now. In brief, Clymore did not follow industry standards for remediation and uses the O3 method with chemicals sprayed first. O3 doesn't kill viable or non-viable spores, it kills the smell so be careful and have a test done after remediation by an independent 3rd party, wanted to only remove up to 6 inches of drywall were industry standards are 2 feet. Did not use HEPA filters during remediation. I would not recommend their services. Our pre-purchase home inspection turned up some mold issues. Troy and his team were responsive, professional, and truly went above and beyond to make sure that the job was done right (and that we were comfortable with the results). I would not hesitate to recommend Troy to anyone and will absolutely call him again if I ever have a problem.

I have had the need for mold remediation in 2 different rental properties over the past 18 months. I used Clymore Mold Remediation in both instances and their service was terrific. We were looking to get this done in order to put our house on the market for sale. Once approved, the work was performed quickly and on-time. We are very pleased with the result and I would recommend Clymore to anyone to get a mold remediation conducted quickly and professionally.

work was started and completed as scheduled. we did have a little surprise - our basement ceiling had little bubbles/bumps show up after remediation work - explanation given was that the ceiling paint did not have a primer on - which we did not know - causes the paint to react with whatever was used for remediation our mold issue. according to them it should go away (the bumps) in a month or so - but its been a few months and it still looks the same. so just be aware that is the area has been painted with no primer on - you might run into this issue. Price was fair

I called Clymore because I have mold allergies and was concerned about some places where our house has had water damage. Troy went above and beyond explaining what our home needs and giving us ideas about how to do it ourselves rather than trying to sell us any expensive and unnecessary services or products. No mold was found, but we had a great experience with this company and would definitely trust them with a big job, should anything come up.

Mark and crew were refreshingly prompt and started every morning at 7:00a. Crew was very knowledgeable in what they were supposed to know. A bit on the high end for price, but I don't mind paying for quality work.

The tech was open about how the mold did not appear active and did not feel charging me more than the inspection estimate would be fair.

They never showed up for the appointment. I called twice once 10minutes after they were suppose to be at my house talked with CJ and she apologized that tech was late, she said he should be there in about 10 minutes. I waited 45 more minutes he never showed. I called back and CJ just apologized again and said she in the office and not sure where the tech was at. She then asked if I wanted to reschedule. Obviously I said by no means. They didn't even give a courtesy call that they running late I had to call them twice.

While moving some furniture in my finished basement, I discovered a scary-looking patch of black mold. Ridding the home of the mold was obviously my main concern, but I was just as interested in FIXING what had happened so that future moisture problems could be prevented. Of the 5 companies I consulted, Clymore was the only one who seemed as intent as I was on finding the source of the moisture that caused the mold. The other 4 companies were very quick to tell me about how they'd tear everything apart and sanitize the room with high-tech equipment... but they seemed content to leave the detective work of finding the underlying issue to me or some third-party company. All except Troy chalked up the water intrusion to a larger problem with my gutters and/or my landscaping without more than a cursory look. Troy suspected something much smaller and inside the wall. Yet he was the only pro who factored any exterior work at all into his recommendation, and was the only one who explored the rest of the house to fully examine my home's overall water and moisture situation to assure me that the patch of mold I had found was an isolated case and not indicative of a bigger problem. On the day of work, Mark arrived on time and had answers for me within an hour. The problem was NOT gutters or landscaping, but a punctured A/C condensation pipe inside the wall that had leaked unnoticed behind the wall for years. He was thorough in removing the mold-infested materials safely and conscientious about keeping it all contained while he worked. He replaced the damaged section of PVC pipe along with a small bit of exterior siding and trim that had also amassed water damage. He left the exterior in pristine condition, needing only a finish coat of paint from me. He left the interior clean and dry and ready for new insulation and drywall. Working with Mark was a pleasure, and while I hope I don't need his services again, I would gladly call him back to work in my home in a heartbeat.

Called Clymore to do an inspection of my recently widowed sister in law's home. I was visiting from Florida for the funeral and had limited time to address her concern that there was a potential mold problem. Explained the family situation and they came the next day. No mold was found but, they did point out several other issues which needed to be addressed. They recommended providers to address those issues. Cannot say enough about the professionalism, courteous, and compassionate approach they took. To top it off they did not charge for the inspection. They are the best!

It went very well. Troy and Mark are true professionals and the job that they did on this older home was incredible. The were very punctual in their communication with us and the job began and was finished exactly as planned. They went over and above what was asked of them to make the interior of this home look great! I highly recommend Clymore Mold Remediation.

Mark , Eric and Troy were prompt, professional and the customer service was excellent. They are experienced and know their business. I asked a lot of questions to be sure these fellows were legit and they are. They produced pics to document the problems and took me to see some of it. (I did not want to crawl on the ground, though) Eric came back on a Saturday to finish the job by himself when his co worker called in sick. And he was on time and pleasant. When you call them, you get a real person to answer. I love that. If you think you might have mold(and it is common) give these folks a call. You can trust them.
