Didn't see any bugs for months

Breda came to our home monthly for 8 months to perform mosquito yard treatment. We've never had a better yard experience, and for once, we were able to use our yard this summer since the pesky mosquitoes were nonexistent! I think my wife was bitten twice the entire year (and she's normally a buffer for the bugs). We are so pleased, we told Breda to call us and sign us up for the same treatment next year, big deal or not! Price-wise, this was an excellent deal. Neighbors had signed up for a competing service (Yard Guard, I think), and they were paying almost $700 for the year. So we got a MUCH better deal with the same net effect. The Breda team even offered to come back and treat again if, at any time, the pesky critters returned before the next scheduled visit. When the last visit came in October, they noted that if we wanted them to, they'd come back in November and treat again if we'd had a warm spell and the mosquitoes returned. And that treatment would have been at no extra cost. Yes, I'll use them again!

They are great. I often call them at the last minute to book an appointment, and they are very accommodating. I would recommend them.

The process worked, however it took awhile for the chemical to affect the insects.

The service was good. They were on time, very professional, and seemed to do a thorough job.

Two representatives of the company arrived and explained the procedure to my satisfaction. They then trenched around my home and drilled through concrete patio and front porch. They then saturated the perimeter of the house with the insecticide liquid barrier, and refilled the trenches. They filled the drilled holes and smoothed a putty sealer over the top of each hole. The men worked efficiently and quietly. As far as I could tell they created an effective termite barrier. I have only two small issues with the work. At one point they had to move some items in the garage to have access to the garage slab near the house for drilling, but failed to replace the items as they had found them after the work was completed. The second small issue is the fact that the putty over a couple of the holes in the patio has eroded, and I will need to find out what type of product to reapply to seal the holes. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the work. It is a relief to know that the house is well protected.

There isn't a lot of story to tell. Nothing out of the ordinary occurred. The technician was prompt and performed the treatment efficiently. He was very professional, but friendly and cordial at the same time. I particularly liked the fact that he liked my dogs and paid attention to them. Not every service person is as comfortable with them as he was.

Purchased an angies deal and had them come out for spiders/bugs, prompt service and very professional

got their invoice for the renewal of the Termite potection contract from last year ...send in my payment and was requested to call in to schedule a follow up inspection .... I just kept on procrastinating ... so (To my pleasant surprise )Breda called me ....we set up an appointment ... the technician showed up on time and found NO PROBLEMS .....Its ALL GOOD !!

UPDATE: I WANTED EVERYONE TO KNOW WE RECEIVED A FULL REFUND TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT. Original review: We first scheduled the audit for 9/12/12. My son had surgery 9/11/12 and ended up being kept overnight at the hospital so I was totally embarrassed that Breda came to our home 9/12/12 and nobody was home yet. I called to reschedule and the next appointment was set for 10/10/12. Durham, the gentleman who came to do the audit walked around the house with his thermal camera and made comments in different areas discussing some of what he was finding. I asked if we'd get a copy of the pictures and his findings because there was no way I could remember it all to tell my husband. He assured me it would be done. After he'd finished he sat down to discuss the cost of flashing that we could use all the way around the house to keep pests out, he gave me a price for that. He also discussed their insulation and how it could help us with the heat problem. Then he said he'd have to come back to finish the energy audit because he needed to leave. 10/25/12, when I hadn't heard anything from Breda, I sent an email saying I would contact Angie's List about our not receiving the Energy Audit we paid for. I then spoke with Matt, I assume the owner, who was short with me reminding me that they had come out the day my son was in the hospital and I wasn't here. Durham was rescheduled to come back out on 10/27/12. He came out, walked around again, and said I would receive the report shortly. I received an email from Matt apologizing for the lack of communication from Breda on 10/30/12. I received a call from Durham a week and a half later apologizing for no report yet, he said something happened to his computer. I finally received an email with pictures 11/8/12 with no labels or explanation as to what they were supposed to be showing me, I can't even tell what room they are taken in. On 11/9/12 I received a second email saying "Part 2,,," and then a second that day "Part 3..." Parts 2 and 3 referenced rooms and slide numbers with a short description. I sent an email to say we missed Part 1 and received a reply that the pictures were Part 1. I would not recommend Breda to perform any services for any body.

We had no issues with the service and all the Breda guys that turned up were very pleasant and professional. Each one came to the door before and at the end of each service to check if we had any problems or issues. They all spent a good amount of time applying the treatment, they didn't have a "hit and run" attitude and we were very happy with their attention to detail.

It went great. I have no bug problems!!

We had bad mosquito problem, called them, set up a time to meet for the first application, they sprayed, we had no mosquitos!! They came back once a month throughout the summer, no mosquitos! Yea!

I would trust this company to perform their services even without my presence. Personnel exhibit a highly professional demeanor.

Once I accepted the quote, we scheduled the treatment date and time. A team of 2 techs arrived, explained their work plan and they got busy. The job took about 3 hours, they were polite and helpful with each other, working well as a team. They did injections of the chemical and some trenching around the foundation. They were unable to treat around the deck area due to a concrete slab under the deck. The chemical they use is guaranteed for 10 years and they have a repair warranty with annual renewal. Definitely a better company than the previous national chain we used. When and if we need the general pest treatments, we will definitely use Breda.

Person who showed up was on time and very professional. Time spent was less than I imagined it would be, but seemed thorough. Dead bugs started showing up a short time later. More unexpected was the movement of bugs seems to have increased almost as if they were moving from a sprayed area looking for better place to stay. Since this was done in the spring, it could have also just been "seasonal" movement.

Had no mostiquos in backyard during summer there were some in late October but not significant

The crew arrived (Dustin, Mike & Jon) on time and were productive and professional. They covered the floors and protected the door jambs. They worked clean and efficient - spending only three hours for the whole job. The Angie's List Deal and the Energy Rebate saved us ~$500. The house is much more comfortable already!

We had been concerned that our Electric Bill was too large given the age and footprint of our house. We decided an Energy Audit of the house would help determine did we have some 'hot' spots where we were under-insulated or some other problem might exist. I had used Breda previously for a separate project and decided to try them out for the Energy Audit. They arrived on time with a thermal imaging camera that would enable to identify spots in the home that were experiencing problems. During this process, I walked around with the inspector and reviewed the camera in real-time to help understand potential problem areas and remove any false positives (like the electrical panel in a wall). Overall, I was very happy with the service performed even though no specific problem area could be identified to decrease our electric bill during the summer time.

I purchased a warranty with the service which ensures they will come out for any further problems within a year and that warranty is renewable as long as you pay the fee each year. The cost covers until 2014 and then I will pay $95.00 a year to get the warranty.

I think the job was fine. I did not know what the job would entail. He was very nice and polite.

Nice, Professional, Explained what they were doing and why. I came to Breda after trying Northwest Exterminator - they're treatment didn't work... don't know why. After 6 weeks of their visit (*knock on wood*) we haven't seen a single roach since. Amazing - we've been fighting that problem for years. Highly recommend this service!

I was a bit disappointed because I thought it would be a whole house treatment.

They have been prompt, nice, and call ahead of time. I ended up signing a one year contract with them.
