Breda Pest Management

First appointment, they arrived two hours late. I had to turn them away because I was going out the door to an appointment I had already rescheduled on account of the pest control appointment. I called the company and complained loudly and asked for a call back from my sales rep because I wanted to just cancel the whole thing and go with someone else. After THREE DAYS, he called me back, apologized, tried to offer excuses ("They were coming all the way from Lawrenceville to your home in Smyrna... you know how 285 traffic is in the morning..." Yep. That's why they should have left earlier.) He offered me an additional 10% off of the cost of the package and threw in a free pest inspection/treatment for me to use later on. When the guys came back the second time, everything seemed fine, but it took them a LOT longer to do the work than what they had estimated. This became a problem because I teach piano here in the afternoons and there was a lot of banging going on. Grrrr. Subsequent visits to check for and get rid of any remaining varmints were done very quickly and professionally, however. I used the free pest treatment two weeks ago to get rid of roaches, which we have never had a single one of in the 13 years we have been here. The guy who came took FOREVER because he was very chatty, even though I tried not to respond or engage much. (I just needed him to do his work and be gone so I could carry on with my own work.) Not only that, but the roaches didn't go away. They sent the same guy out four days later, he sprayed again, roaches still didn't go away. I called them back and insisted that they send someone else, the lady said that he is the guy assigned to my area. I asked her whose problem that was - mine or theirs. She put me on hold and came back to say that someone else would come out the next day,which he did. He was much more professional than the first guy, but he said that roaches never completely go away. Say what? Sure enough. WE STILL HAVE THE ROACHES. I don't want to blame the lack of roach results entirely on Breda because, since we've never had roaches before, I'm not sure if what he said about their never fully going away being true. I'm just not real happy right now.

They are good and they follow up on their appointments. They are a quarterly service and I wanted a monthly service. They do a good job and will answer any questions about different insects you might be seeing.

Very difficult to get rid of german cockroaches, almost impossible to do without a professional company. They were very diligent and I think the house is now bug free. Excellent value.

Great. Number of roaches declined significantly. If I see one, which is usually dead, they come back and respray.

It went very well. He came and introduce himself to us, he ask what kind of problems we were having, We told him that we were having trouble with insects in the garage, around the house and in the house He thoroughly sprayed around the house, foundation, windows garage and cracks. He came inside the house sprayed all the rooms, closets, stairway and window sills. He was polite and on time. We were very please with the service. We will used Breda Pest Control again.

It takes a lot for me to give a bad review. I have had three visits from the same technician this year. I believe he is new to the business. From the outset, he disregarded what I told him about where NOT TO SPRAY pesticide and he did it anyway. When I complained, he smiled at me. I complained to the company and told them not to send him again, but they did. Each of the other two times he came unannounced. He never did a complete treatment, as far as I can tell. The outside of my house is covered in cobwebs which he didn't sweep. Inside, he put over-the-counter ant traps which I could have purchased for $5 myself. I paid this quarterly bill and told them never to come back.

They were on time. They were knowledgeable with the situation we needed help with. I would recommend using them. There service was excellent.

About a week or two after they came by, we started seeing ants inside of our house, which was the first time this had happened. So we were perplexed because not only did the first treatment not seem to help, our bug problem got worse (previously, we had just had a few spiders, a roach here and there, etc.) I contacted them immediately and they were extremely responsive. Layla got back to me within the hour and said that Breda would be happy to send someone out to treat the house again. Fred was extremely nice (he was the one who came both times), and the second time around, when we pointed out the issues, he found the cause of the ant problem. My only concern is that this should have been noticed the first time. I do appreciate how quickly they resolved this problem though, and their communication is absolutely on point. It's only been about a week since the second treatment so I'm waiting to see if anything else happens, but so far so good. The only reason why I wouldn't use them again is that there are so many other companies with deals on Angie's List that are rated with an "A" that I think I would try someone else out next time just to see if there is a difference. This was still a relatively positive experience, especially with the way they will send someone back out to re-treat at no cost to you. It is worth noting though that that isn't worth much if they don't do a good job the second time too. I would rather have a refund. Like I said, so far so good though: the second treatment seems to be working.

Breda came out and used a laser thermometer to find where the tree rats had nested in our basement and attic. They were on time, clean cut, and friendly. They then sent out a team to seal up the house along the roofline and several entry points. The tree rats in the attic were immediately taken care of. The rats in the basement proved more crafty, and were able to find new ways into the house. But Breda kept coming back with different traps, and additional methods of sealing the house, until the rats were gone. We didn't care how it was done, we just wanted the rats gone, and Breda did the job. We also use them for regular pest control, and have been happy with the results as well (no roaches!). Our family recommends Breda for pest control.
