Bailey Construction did an excellent professional job. I would definitely hire them for sink holes. I am so happy with their work that I am hiring them to upgrade my landscaping.

The team did a fantastic job. Very professional, very punctual, did exactly as they said they would, and cleaned up the job site both days they worked on my project.

Bailey Construction was very timely and reasonably priced on their estimates to the City. They reported their progress along the way during repairs, and saved the City money in areas that did not actually need repairing. They uncovered areas that needed additional attention, and rather than just doing a cosmetic fix, reported it to the City. The City then okayed additional funding to repair it correctly, based on Bailey's recommendations. Both reapir jobs were perfromed in a timely manner, with the utmost preofessionalism, and the job sites were both left tidy and neat.

Crew sowed up and started by weeding all the beds, blowing all the leaves off the beds and yrd and cleaning up. They then started the new edging and redesigning of the yard and beds after that they cleaned that up and lai 3-4 inches of mulch in all the beds and planted the few new plants. After that Everything was cleaned up completely. This company has also done landscaping for 2 of my meighbors and while they were here, a 3d neighbor came by and asked them to drop bu and talk to him. Greta crew, great job, great company!

It went very well and after the job was completed it looked as though there wasn't a sinking hole at all.

The rectangular depression in our back yard close to the property line was getting deeper every year (our house was built in 1998). As soon as we also noticed a large void there we knew we had to get this presumed trash pit repaired. We asked Bailey Construction & Landscape Group to come and take a look. The quick response time to get an estimate and the professional approach throughout the repair work were very much appreciated. The actual work took two days (there were two rain delays before the work commenced).; from initial contact to finishing the job took about 6 weeks. Overall this was pretty much done according to the expected schedule. The contents of the pit were indeed large pieces of tree trunk and limbs. Those were removed and disposed of (4 loads to haul away) on day one and 6 loads of fill dirt were brought in on the second day. We were told the fill dirt would not contain rocks or debris and that was true. The people who worked on our job were skilled, personable and kept us up-to-date on what was going on and consulted us to make sure they did what we wanted. The difficulty with jobs like this is that you really don't know how much it will cost you until you are pretty far along. The estimate will tell the cost of one load of fill dirt or the cost of one day of small machine with crew but once the work starts you might find out that you will need four loads of dirt or three days of small machine or whatever the case might be. Until the pit is dug up no one knows how deep it will be or what is in there so be prepared for change orders and the costs adding up. Bailey Construction is very upfront about that but it is easy to forget. They are also very clear about what they can and cannot do so there shouldn't be any surprises. I hope I won't have to deal with any more sinkholes but if I do I would definitely call them again.

I am very pleased with the results. The landscaping looks beautiful and the water issue appears to be resolved. From my first phone call to request an estimate to the completion of my landscape project, all of Bailey's personnel responded quickly and very professionally. I especially appreciate the thoroughness that Justin Bailey and Dan DeVore were in answering all my questions from costs, installation, timing of the job, and special issues regarding the drainage problem. They were extremely accommodating in making sure my landscape project went well. I would highly recommend them.

It went very well better than I expected with no additional cost, the price I was quoted was the price I paid. They explained to me the problem was not as bad as I thought and also explained in detail what caused it and how it would be corrected. All to my satisfaction.

It looks great. Looking forward to seeing it in the spring when everything starts growing. Given a guide on how to take care of yard and plants for the future.

Work was done professionally and on schedule. Found ways to save money on the job but did not cut corners. Very satisfied with the results. Very accessible during the job and after the job was complete.

They arrived on time and project went exactly as explained by Justin (the owner) and Bobbie (I think project manager). Very professional group. Bobbie was extremely attentive to detail, making sure the site looked as good as possible subsequent to the repair. Project took slightly longer than we expected, however, they worked with us to hold the additional costs down. Office responded promptly to any paperwork requests we made. Definitely use again.

The contractors agent discussed the pans and work with me on site about a month before the work was done. We had a long and very clear review of the work to be done. There was suppose to be a paved walk small retaining wall a short area of gravel walk and a shade resistant lawn installed. The dates were originally set for a time when I would be able to be at the house, but the contractor re scheduled several times and did not start work when I could be at the site. When I did inspect the work a few days later I was not happy at all with quality of the work. The drainage onto the walk allowed for dirt to drain on to walk because the small retaining wall was not built as we had agreed. It was not built at all. Also the turf that was installed was of poor quality and not suitable for shade. The entire lawn area will have to be replaced this spring as the lawn has died despite all efforts to keep it alive. There were whole sections of turf that had little or no growth when installed. I have made several attempts to have the contractor come to the property to review these concerns and come to some sort of agreement as to ways to fix these deficits but have received only rude and condescending replies. The contractor even told me during one call that they believe in leaving some work for "the home owner to do" as they feel most people like this. As of this date Baily Landscaping has made no effort to contact me, further inspect the work, offer to correct defects in work, or refund any portion of payment made. I would not recommend this contractor and would advise people to not use them. I do blame myself for not exercising more care when contracting with these people and will be much more careful in future. Baily Landscaping give all contractors a bad name. UPDATE: The company got in contact with me. Owner personally came to my property. He determined that the work performed was not up to his standards. They will come back out to complete/fix the work that was started. The owners comments were that he wanted to make me happy. Update: As of now I am happy with thte work that has been done. He came out and fixed everything. The contractor came out and listened to my concerns, and took me seriously.

Even with all the problems, the job was completed on time. We even changed planting areas on them and even some of the plants. They accepted this with a smile and worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted. We will be using them to work with us to do a side yard and back yard next year. They were recommended by our neighbors after they did their front yard, and of course I looked them up on Angie's List! Our advice would be to get the larger plants and right sod and do it in stages if your budget is tight.

They came on time and dug out decayed tree roots and structure from an old farm house that was bull dozed and bury when my house was built in the 70"s. They did a great job and a year later I had some settling where they came back and put in additional dirt. Their employees who did the work were very knowledgeable and provide great customer service.

Each day started between 8:30 and 9 am. They typically work until 6 or 7 pm. The workers were very careful about the underground cables and pipes. The soil was leveled as needed. The second day the sod was applied. Edges were carefully trimmed. Finally, the sod was watered and rolled. We were pleased with their skills and the results. The crew worked well together and helped each other.

Primary contact was Dan Devore who's knowledge, professionalism, and responsiveness was outstanding. The primary office administrator contact, Vicky, was also commendable at maintaining communication in a clear, timely and pleasant manor. Project was multiphase primarily due to customer uncertainty on precise desired endpoint on landscape layout. Ultimately results were very good and timely as can be expected due to seasonal weather limitations.

1. Backhoe crew arrived as planned and dug out sinkhole soil but was unable to remove debris. I did not have an issue with this as I was told this could happen if the debris was buried to deep.. 2. Sinkhole was than refilled with existing dirt and one load of fill dirt as agreed. 3. Landscaping crew arrived two days later and installed a mixture of top soil and gravel ! I think the crew did not have enough top soil and decided to mix the top soil with gravel they had left over from another job, to save on time and money!! Very unprofessional! The sod was then unevenly laid on top of the top soil- gravel mixture. Also, along the border of the sinkhole the sod was laid approximately two inches over the top of my existing grass. They did not cut in the sod to fit within the sinhole border. Unbelieveable! I called the owner about my issues and he asked me to send pictures to his phone! I thought that was very unprofessional. Come out and look yourself so you can correctly see the issues ! That way they can be correctly resolved! He agreed from the pics I sent to have the landscaping crew come the next day to try again. The crew did not arrive and I did not hear from the owner for four days. On the fifth day he called and said, in a very rude manner, he was taking care of an emergency and could not call, text, or have an employee call me! I told him I was so unhappy with his work and lack of communication that I would have someone else complete the job, which I did.

We were so pleased with Bailey Landscape. They re-did our entire backyard with landscaping and built a paver patio. We were amazed at how quick they worked and how professional the workers performed. The quality of work is great! Justin Bailey and his team are an A+ operation. Dan, the Garden Coach, suggested several different plants and we were very happy with what he had chosen. We finally have color in our backyard and will enjoy it for years to come. Justin and his team will be back in the spring to lay our sod. We are very pleased with the results.

They removed the existing retaining wall and excavated back 2 feet and reconfigured the new pressure treated timber wall. They were professional and courteous. It took 2 days and they cleaned up all debris after each day. They did an excellent job.

Dan called from the house on Monday and asked for specifics of the job. I told him that after the job walkdown with Monty we were expecting new sod in the front to address erosion and side yards as well as a planting bed built in the front yard. Dan stated he didn't believe they had enough sod to do all that work -- so I told him to place it in the front first and if there was any remaining they could place it in a small section on the other side of the front walkway. When we got home that evening we found NO sod in the front and all the sod placed on the side of the house. The sod was not only placed in the wrong area, but it contained two different kinds of sod - or at least sod from two different batches which looks vey unprofessional and actually looks worse that the grass that was there to begin with. The planting bed consisted of top soil dumped and leveled with no containment. On Tuesday when we got the heavy rains, about 1/10th of the topsoild washed away. When I called Dan and questioned him, he had no explanation for the error. Justin later called me to badger for payment of the remaining balance. I figured they did do "work" even though it was the wrong work and if I paid them, they would do something to make it right. I have not heard anything from them -- so their shoddy work seems to be the norm for them. They didn't even so much as apologize for the error. I brought another landscaper to the house to look at the work Bailey should have done and he was NOT impressed with how they left the yard. The heavy rain washed a lot of topsoil from under the sod, they damaged my rock wall with their vehicle -- did not drive up the driveway, but without my permission drove through our property with whatever they used to haul the sod. I've since had a third landscaper out to the house for his opinion. The two independent looks both said the same thing: 1. Work was not professional and the price was about 1.5 times what they would have charged. 2. They were amazed at what Bailey thinks qualifies as "builiding a planting bed" per the proposal. 3. They would have expected some effort to make things right since I paid top dollar and paid as requested. All in all this is the WORST experience I've had with a service provider. I'm not sure why this occurred. They were very prompt at coming out and walking down the job and giving me a quote -- which at the time seemed reasonable. It was almost like dealing with two completely separate companies. I will not use them again and will be reluctant to trust Angies List in the future for any major jobs.

Fabulous work, tremendous work ethic and a result that was beyond our expectations. We would highly recommend this company to others. This is a family oriented business and we continue to be impressed with our experiences along the journey from design through development and all the way to delivery! We worked with the Bailey Construction & Landscape company for a number of months before the actual work began on our patio and landscape redesign. Many key individuals should be recognized: Vicky in the office for her patience and follow up as we worked through changes; Monte's upfront visits to go over initial details; Dan Devore's horticultural expertise; the entire work crew for their ethics to not only do the job right, but to do the right thing; and of course, the owner Justin Bailey, who worked closely with us throughout the project. Kudos to the entire team. Thank you for beautifying our home!

they did not follow thru on what they said they would do.

It went very well. Work was done in a timely and professional fashion. What I had originally thought of as several phases turned into two, first one being completed in one weeks time, even with the changes that I threw at them on the fly. I used to enjoy sitting on my patio, but the view was a bit dull. Now with all the new plantings the view is much more vibrant. The bird life is much more active and I have even started attracting butterflies. I can't wait to see how everything looks in the spring. Simply said I cannot be happier. I am looking forward to completing the next phase with the help of Dan and his crew.

Dan and his team are outstanding. Our yard is beautiful. I went to work and when I came home I walked around the yard to look at the progress. There was a crew of about 9 people working all over our front yard. As I walked the yard each and every one of them stopped what they were doing, stood up, greeted me and asked me how it looked. These were not supervisors or managers - these were the actual workmen digging in the dirt or operating equipment. I have never experience such courtesy and professionalism from a team of workmen. When the project was finished, Dan came into the house and sat with us to discuss care and maintenance of our new yard. He created a grid for me with the 12-months of the year and each planting. The grid tells me exactly what each plant needs and when - even when to mow the new lawn and at what height. We had a few pieces of sod that did not root and when we called Dan to tell him he indicated that he would be by in a day or two to take a look. He came and told us that as soon as he was able to get the correct sod he would be back to replace those pieces that need to be replaced. Our lawn is lush and green and there are no lines where the sod pieces were laid - it looks like carpet. Dan did a fantastic job selecting the plantings for our landscape. I especially love my October Glory Red Maple tree. I would tell anyone willing to listen that if you are planning any type of landscaping project you must call Dan at Bailey Construction and Landscaping.

I found them easy to work with. Everyone I dealt with was very polite and the work was well done. No complaints.
