I was very pleased with Mr. Sullivan overall service he provided. I had a variety of services performed and I plan to use Mr. Sullivan again to complete other electrical work needed. All service were discussed in advance and I received a free estimate before services were performed.

Some of the worst work and an ill-prepared service provider that we have ever seen. From the first call to schedule the appointment the service provider complained about not making any money off Angie’s List, despite that and since we had already paid for a hour’s service we went ahead and booked the service. He was to replace an overhead light fixture in the foyer and then add an electrical outlet above the door. We described to him where the light fixture was in the foyer and that it was a high ceiling and that he would need a 20’ ladder to do the replacement. He commented that he did not have one and that he would need to rent a ladder to reach this. We explained also that we wanted an electrical outlet added and to have it on switch so it could be turned on and off. He said this would add time to the job and gave us a quote on how much per hour additional it may be. He arrives at the call on time, however, he does not have a tall enough ladder or a wall switch to use for the outlet. As such, he heads off to the local home depot to rent a ladder and purchase a switch. Which he charges us for, both the time to go to home depot and the ladder rental, even though we have told him several times about the materials he would need for this job. After a short while he returns with the ladder and switch and realizes that he bought the wrong switch - thus he needs to go back to home depot again to get the correct switch. Instead of allowing him to go we had him start the fixture swap and I go to home depot myself – to avoid additional charges again - and pick up the correct switch. Now we have all the correct materials and are progressing forward. He finishes changing out the light fixture in the foyer and moves on to the electrical outlet. During the installation of the outlet he has to punch 2 holes in the drywall to run the cable and around where the switch is going. He does repair these but very poorly, they still need finishing and repainting (which he makes no offer to do). The switch he put in to control the electrical outlet now resides with a switch for the light in a 2-switch box that is now in the opposite direction of another switch on the wall, aesthetically not pleasing, but will have to live with it to avoid him staying longer and charging us more. As a whole what should have been a $100-150 job cost us close to twice that amount. As this was our first experience with Angie’s List – it may very well be our last. Very Poor service provide, overpriced and certainly not worth the experience.

Floyd did a very good job for us. I had cut some wires on my porch and he routed new wire to one end and then secured the connection into a junction box and recessed the box into the wall as requested. He also removed another superfluous junction box for us in the same wall a little lower. He installed a light switch in our attic (to replace the pull string) and added an additional light for us in the back of the attic. I was very happy with the Floyd's punctuality, responsiveness, and professionalism.

Work was performed and finished within the time expected. Our kitchen island outlets were not working. Mr. Sullivan found that the problem was the wires in the outlets were backwards. He fixed this and now our outlets work.

Mr. Sullivan did a very professional job and is very knowledgable about his work. He answered all my question with patience.
