Showed as agreed and completed servcie at the time agreed upon so I could get to an appointment.

It was not a very good experience. They did a good job, but they were kind of rude. They tried to sell me stuff. They did a good job on two of the carpets, but not on the third one. I asked them to do it one more time to solve the problem, because it was not done properly. They said that they were going to charge me for that. They also kept on rescheduling.

He cleaned the rugs beautifully but this guy was totally unprofessional. He called me on the phone on the way here and I asked him if he had gps but he said he didn't know how to use it so I had to guide him the whole way here. He ruined a scarf, it got caught in his hose, and he never apologized for that. He was a real character. The rugs were great but I didn't appreciate his actions. The rugs were beautifully done but I was taken back. He wanted to do the oriental rugs but I couldn't afford him.

Jeff arrived as promised, and used a light pressure wash to clean the tiles and grout. He cleaned up when he was finished.

I just answered this above. It really reminded me this was a contractor that used the $39 deal to get a foot in the door. Had we agreed to let him do what he wanted to do, it would have cost us about 2.5 times what we agreed just for a little spray from a squirt bottle. Really?

We purchased the big deal and contacted the owner of Rug scrubber. We spoke by phone, he insisted we take pictures of our carpet. I explained we were about to do hardwood floors and all I wanted was to clean the carpets as we were planning a holiday party. My goal was just ensuring the carpets were fresh. He said he refused to do them as there were some stains. I reiterated we were doing hardwoods, the only need for his service was cleanliness. He insisted he would not come out unless we purchased every service he offered as he DIDN'T WANT A BAD RATING! I kindly explained we didn't need to spend additional money and wanted the Big Deal. Then he told us he couldn't help us. That he had told other Angie's List customers the same thing; that unless they purchased his extended package he would not perform the service and hung up on me!

I would not recommend this provider to anyone. He didn?t clean the rugs properly, and he damaged the travertine in the process on cleaning and sealing it. Jeff Jones came out to do the work on March 1st. He immediately tried to "up sell" me on the carpet cleaning, saying that he couldn't do a good job for me if he didn't remove the residue before the actual cleaning process. I declined and he began work on the tile in the cleaning and sealing the marble floor in the bathrooms. Within a few minutes he had the tile cleaned and sealed. Next he began to clean the carpets. He was done VERY quickly so I went back down to check his work to find that he had skipped big areas of my carpet. I sent him back to clean the area that he had skipped. When done the rugs were very wet and when they finally dried they felt stiff underfoot. I don't think he did anything to rinse the soap out of the carpet nor did he get much of the water extracted at the time of cleaning. But, the carpet eventually dried, they don't feel or look clean but at least it isn't any damage. The problem is the damage that was done to the travertine marble in the two bathrooms. Jeff used a tool that looked like the same metal head that he used on the carpets. He cleaned and sealed the marble in one step in very short time. Once he was complete, I went into the bathroom to find the floors were left with big puddles of standing water. I tried to towel dry the floor but the towel stuck. There was a sticky residue all over the floor. As I was trying to clean off the residue, I could see that the cleaner/sealer had etched into the travertine and the finish was dull and splotchy. Also some areas are rough to the touch. I told Jeff of the problem and he blamed me for the problem, saying that he can't be responsible for what I used on the floors prior to him cleaning/sealing them.

I had had my carpets cleaned previously and the cleaners actually moved my furniture and cleaned under them but that was not the case this time. Heavy furniture was kept in place and cleaned around. He spot cleaned heavy areas first. The carpet was cleaned and was deodorized. The rug was real dirty and he took extra steps to clean some pet stains. Overall experience was good. Would recommend to others, but would give detailed information to him prior to get a price up front. Also, was surprised when there was an extra service charge for the South Forsyth area.

Contact service provider on 1/19/13 and 1/24/13 with no response yet. Angie's List helped me out and contacted the co. Next week appt. was set up. This was to clean my tile. Update 2/17/2013: When appt. was set, was told there was an additional $25.00 travel charge. Rug Scrubber arrived on time. Reviewed areas to be cleaned. Cleaned tile effectively. Had to mop after cleaning because of residue left on tile but the tile was clean. Satisfied with service. He was very nice to work with. I had also purchased a carpet cleaning coupon from Angie's List so I decided to let him do this project during the same visit to save the travel cost.

IT WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE First bad sign - I was told when I got there there even though it said anything about what rooms were excluded, he told me my basement was not included in a "whole" house deal. Then there were the rooms which were too big - like my normal sized master bedroom and counted as 2. The list went on. Because I had company coming and I had already paid, I said fine. Then he asked if I wanted to do edge cleaning, deodorizing, pet stains and protection. I said edge cleaning and deodorizing and pet stains. He sat at my table and rattled of a count of rooms so quickly it was hard to follow and the services that were extra and named a price. It was a substantial amount more than the $139 and I was very upset - but he was there and already setting up. It didn't take long as I had already moved all the furniture that need to be moved. I paid him and he left. The carpets were all right - but I have paid far less for better. About a month later he called asking me for $100 more for a part of the service he had forgotten to charge me for when he told me the total. I told him I had paid the amount agreed (way more than I wanted to pay or will ever pay again) and he took my payment, cashed my check and left. End of story. Since then he has called me repeatedly threatening me asking for the $100. I do not owe him more - it was just one more attempt to get money out of me - The whole situation was a scam. I feel cheated and by the way, all my pet stains came back within a few days - along with the scents. This morning was the absolute last straw - he called threatening to PUT A LIEN ON MY HOUSE FOR SERVICES I ALREADY PAID FOR AND HE ACCEPTED AND WERE WAY OVER PRICED FOR AVERAGE QUALITY - so - Now I am writing my review and I would say STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY My next step will be to file a formal complaint with Angie's List - I have been a member since the start and have always had great experiences with companies I found here. This company was a HUGE exception. Oh yes - they were also late - hours.

The work performed was excellent, however there was some misunderstanding as to what was included. I had sent pictures of the room (which he had requested) which included a small area that was discolored. The job was very simple, this was an empty town house, no furniture, with basically one carpet front to back which was counted as 2 rooms (no 3rd room or hallway). The work was completed in about 40 mins. I was then asked to pay an additional $40 for some additional treatment he had used. This came as a complete surprise and given the fact the I had only '2 rooms' I found this demand most unreasonable. He then told me that he received very little money from Angies List with this deal so I agreed to pay an additional $20. I explained to the man that in future he should be very clear on what he quotes to people and should point out all the 'extras' that he would be charging for. As I said before the work itself was very satisfactory.

Jeff (Rug Scrubbers) arrived timely, set up efficiently, and explained everything carefully. He did a great job on the grout & tile cleaning in 2 bathrooms, and so I also decided to have him clean several carpet areas (at very reasonable extra charge). His work was effective and I was pleased with the great results. Also note, when the next day I had a question about one small area rug, Jeff returned immediately without hesitation and retouched it (with great results). Jeff cares about the job being right and the customer being treated honestly and fairly. I will certainly use his cleaning services again.

I paid for Angie's Big Deal: $39.00 for 3 rooms and hallway of Deep Steam, Green Carpet Cleaning and Deodorizing. The deal described my 2nd floor: 3 bedrooms, a hallway and two baths. I also requested the stairs be cleaned, knowing the price would go up for extra cleaning. Rub Scrubber cleaned the carpet with water coming from the truck using hoses to pipe it into the house. He cleaned the stairs as well as the partial areas in both bathrooms with carpeting, which would likely cost more. He came Feb 1. Rug Scrubber strongly encouraged me to have the first floor carpet cleaned; I have other family members and animals living there and I did not intend to clean that area although it needed it badly. He looked at the first floor bedroom, small hall, dining room and living room and gave me an additional final price of $550.00 to clean it all. It was a difficult decision to go from $39 to $39 plus $550. I had read a review where the user said he cleaned a pigpen carpet into something amazing, so I thought this would be a possible good thing to try. By the next day I could see several places that would need a touchup but I wanted all the carpet to be dry. It took about 4 days for all to dry and then I called Jeff for a touch up on 2/6. He was very pleasant and came in a couple of hours time when he has finished his job. He recleaned several spors and the whole set of stairs. On Feb 9 he came the last time and very pleasantly cleaned the stairs again.

When initial calling the contact person he stated to text pictures of carpet, which was done. Two days later we called to follow up and no answer, so message was left. The contact person returned call left a message stating that it would be thirty dollars per room and an extra fifteen dollars per room making a total due of 135.00 to be spent on cleaning new carpet. My husband called him and requested he look at the carpet before making an estimate instead of review text pictures, the contact person stated then that the cost regardless would total 135.00, we are working on trying to get a refund and very upset with the results of purchase.

They missed the appointment, and when I called them, the man I spoke to said that I had the wrong date. When I disagreed, he told me to call back when I had “settled down”.

I purchased the Big Deal for 3 rooms of carpet cleaning. Appointments were scheduled on 3 separate occasions and all were cancelled at the last minute.

I have tried to talk to him on the phone about what can be done and he has been very difficult, impatient and not helpful so I cancelled.

Experience was bad. Purchased the $39.00 deal December 5th because I wanted my LR carpet spruced up for the holidays. He never called me, so about Dec 20th I called and left a message for him to call me. he did not return my call. Called again about Jan 10th and he answered. Told me he remembered my phone call but no apology for not returning it. Told me I had to send him pictures for him to look at with no reasonable explanation as to why. I can't do that by phone as he wanted so he said he would call me with an email address. He didn't. He called me on Jan 19th wanting to come that afternoon. I asked him why since he did not have pictures? Oh ya he says, I'll call you with an email address. Nothing since. It's disgusting that he's taking peoples money and then giving them a hassle. I want my money back, but don't have the time to deal with it. I will never use him again or recommend him, obviously, and I also will never purchase another Angies List deal. Lesson learned.

After purchasing attempted contact with provider via email. Provider failed to respond. Following this I contacted him via telephone. Provider did respond and an appointment was set. Late the night before provider called and said he needed to push appointment to mid-afternoon. After modifying my day to accommodate, this provider called again just prior to the new time and said his "truck was still in the shop." He didn't attempt to reschedule and I haven't heard from him since. This brings me to the point at which I'm done with this and require a refund.

It went well. I have a clean floor but it is not polished and sealed so it is a job half done - hence Bs.

Service advertised was not at all the service that they were able to provide. They came to clean /refinish a marble floor to remove spots and then reseal it. When they arrived the only service they could provide was to clean the floor with some soapy liquid and then put a sealant on. No spot removal. Why seal spots onto your floor? We decided to have them clean a tile floor with a marble outline. Again, no spots were removed. The carpet on either side of the two doorways to this room were left soapy. The baseboard tiles were also left terribly soapy and we had to rinse and wipe down the entire floor and baseboards.

It never happened because the $39.00 offer was a sham. Please help me get my money back.

After purchasing the deal, I did not receive a call from the service provider. I sent an email then called a few days later, the 'carpet cleaner' asked that I submit three photos of my carpets. I've never done this before, I just want the darn carpets cleaned... Now that I've spent an hour of my time trying to initiate this deal I submit photos and never hear back from the guy. I sent a follow up email and text without success. I finally submitted an inquiry to Angie's List (AL), they have been very responsive and are working with me to obtain a refund. I will continue to purchase deals from AL with the hopes of receiving the quality service that I'm used to.

Did my basement and stairs and the carpet looks great. Got a lot of stains out too.
