Dennis came by to talk to my husband and I about remodeling our bathroom. He was very thorough and left us with he would return a quote in a week or so but we never heard back. I got the feeling from the first conversation that he was not interested in servicing our area. Nonetheless, I am upgrading my previous review on this visit from failing to "C" because we did receive a call afterwards and was informed that a mistake was made and the quote had been done. Somehow he had missed getting our quote to us. I do appreciate the call and apology. We have obtained another company through Angieslist and received more favorable response.

Dennis (from PHI) met with us and listened closely to what we wanted to have done. He was very helpful in making suggestions that would save us money and also make sure we understood where hidden costs might occur. Dennis gave us a list of companies we could visit to pick out things like shower tile, floor tile and granite top for the sink. His quotes was very easy to read and was clear about what work was going to be done. Once work started, Dennis scheduled workers to be on site at the proper time/sequence so that workers were on site everyday until the job was finished. All of the workers and trades people were very professional and took great care to put down plastic every day to protect our floors and carpets and to clean up every day before they left Dennis visited our house at least once a day (or more often) while the work was in progress to check to make sure work was progressing and being done properly. He made sure we were happy with the work being done and to answer any question we had at that point. Dennis called each evening to tell us which worker(s) would be coming to work the next morning and what time they would be arriving. The quote was the highest one we received but it was right on the money with no hidden charges or surprises. He was VERY professional as were all of his workers. It was money well spend for the great job they did on our bathroom. I am 100% happy with Dennis, his company, his workers and the work that was done. Dennis Delashmit acted as the Project Manager and oversaw a number of workers to get the work done correctly and on time. I'm quite pleased with the results.

Since the home has settled over time, getting it just right was a challenge. Nevertheless the rooms look beautiful. All of the crew were punctual, professional, and competent. Dennis kept us advised throughout the process of timelines and issues. Everyone cleaned up each day after their work area, and took measures to protect other surfaces while working. I would highly recommend PHI to anyone who is looking for a competent general contractor who clearly understands the trade and project management!

I contacted PHI for a smaller job to open up our cabinets and change electricity to accept upgraded ovens. The response was that they don't touch anything smaller than the $20,000 mark. Seems like a high threshhold, but fair enough. The response was fairly quick - within 4 business hours.

Dennis' team stripped the cabinets and appliances from the kitchen, removed the shelving in the pantry, oversaw the installation of new cabinets, counter-tops and appliances, changed the color scheme, and completed the job on time and on budget. Each of his tradesmen were capable craftsmen, polite and neat. We thoroughly enjoyed working with all of them! Dennis was on-site nearly every day and, when not, in touch by telephone. We felt that we were well-informed about what was expected to happen and when. We could not have been happier about our choice of contractor nor the results of the project! Great. From the time we accepted his proposal until he started was less than a week. Everyone working on our project was professional and performed quality work. Dennis listen to what we wanted in a new bathroom. He recommended quality products.

Outstanding communication from Dennis Delashmit (contractor) and all his subs every step of the way. Changes along the way handled with aplomb. Efficient & expert advice from referrals to Roxy Henderson at Specialty Tile Products & Robin Hooper at Cabinet & Stone City. Ben Tamas at Beta Plumbing & Mechanical recommended the re-circulating pump & we love the instant hot water. Florin's tile and "jack-of-all-trades" work is amazing: precise attention to detail, always on time, so quiet you hardly know he's there, and great attention to clean-up every day. Clearly, Dennis only works with the very best. Had a minor mishap with damage to hardwood stair handled promptly and professionally by Binswanger Glass. Referral to ia group for mirrors had some major communication issues. Huge inventory to choose from, but sales rep Hunter Smith provided poor info re: frame options & could provide no information re: item costs! Promises to get back with us were not fulfilled and phone messages to him went unanswered. Also, iag is one of the last companies left to (openly) pass on credit card surcharges, so I had to drive a check for the downpayment to their showroom to avoid the extra fee. Then I was called to deliver the $200 balance to them before final delivery! (This was resolved by company president Mark Darnell.) The whole mirror fiasco took nearly five weeks, by far the longest and most frustrating part of the reno. We've had LOTS of wok done to our home since we moved in nearly 2 years ago: hardwood floors, addition of a pool, insulation, screened porch renovation, etc. We would strongly recommend Dennis Delaschmit and his crew as the best and would definitely use his services again!

Dennis Delaschmitt of PHI just completed the remodel of my master bathroom. It was my first home remodel and I was nervous. Friends had told me horrible home improvement stories. BUT my experience was great! Dennis and his team were very responsive, all my concerns were addressed quickly and the work area was cleaned every day so my living space really was not effected. If I had a question or concern and needed to contact Dennis, he not only got back to me, he got back to me quickly - that was so impressive. My master bathroom came out better than I imagined. I am so happy!! I will be doing more home improvements in the future and I will definitely call on Dennis again!!

I sent an email to Professional Home Improvements, describing what I needed done, and did not get any sort of a reply. I followed that up within the week with several phone calls, each of which went to voicemail. I left two messages and got no reply. Even if my job was too small, or if they were too busy to take on new work, some sort of reply to let me know that would have been helpful.

We recently had our master bathroom gutted and remodeled by Dennis Delashmit. Working with Dennis and his crew was an absolute delight from start to finish. He was respectful of our budget without compromising the quality. He was also very responsive to our phone calls and questions. The crew was exceptional with their daily promptness, cleanliness, respect of our time and home and their attention to detail. We felt very comfortable with everyone who come into our home. We are very satisfied and will not hesitate to use Dennis and his crew for future jobs.

As with all projects, there were problems along the way, but Dennis solved all of them. He is very pleasant to deal with and approaches the work in a considerate and professional manner.

I left a message and when I didn't hear back, I called again. The second time I called, I got him on the phone. He told me that he would meet with me the following Tuesday or Wednesday. I never heard from him again.

He was upfront and very honest with me. He answered all my questions and he came out a couple times. He handled the issues very well. I have recommended them to a few people

The guy was a little pushy but he did drive me around in his car to different areas to show me his work but nothing was backed up. His quote was $16,000.

It went great! His subcontractors were all professional and competent, and he was on site personally much of the time. We are scheduling another $12000 worth of work.

They did a great job. We loved them. They were great. We were highly impressed with them. They were very professional. Dennis was the name of the contractor that we worked with who owns the company and he was very responsive. He came by and checked on the project pretty much everyday to see how it was going. Any issues that came up, he handled very quickly and efficiently so we were very very happy with his work. We would definitely use their services again in the future if we need to.

Dennis Delashmit is by far the best contractor we have ever worked with. He always shows up on time, returns phone calls and does superlative work at a reasonable price. He kept our remodeling project running smoothly by coordinating various workers. if a problem occured, he worked until the problem was resolved to our satisfaction. An excellent job, and we would not hesitate to use him again.

It was pretty high compared to what I was thinking the work would cost - Dennis was more than willing to work with me to modify my choices and we winnowed the work down to a price I was comfortable with and to the work that HAD to be done before I moved in. I'm having the current shower pulled out and a curb-less shower put in, tearing down a wall around the toilet to remove a claustrophobic "toilet closet", replacing the bathroom floor with tile, installing new lighting fixtures and then painting the bathroom and the adjoining master bedroom. Dennis investigated several providers around Atlanta and then brought his tile and plumbing guy together on site, to meet and discuss the best plan of action for the best curbless shower with the least amount of cost to me (no digging down into the cement slab). With my approval (and me being there so I am sure that what is going to be done will work with my plan for how I want my shower to function (and look), I'm confident I will get the work I want done and done correctly. We start this week and I'll let you know how it turns out - and how close we end up to budget. Dennis continues to be flexible, willing to offer solutions that make sense, look for new ways to do what I want and nicely tell me why my ideas aren't the best, don't match to code, etc. November 15th update: We're nearly done! Dennis has been on top of things and doing a bang-up job. I've not been able to be up at the remodel as much as I'd like, so Dennis has been shopping for materials that I've requested, going from Home Depot to Home Depot as we've searched. Our painting is moving along and the bathroom is nearly done; just waiting for the ordered glass shower door to deliver. Once it arrives, we've got to hang the door, affix the towel bars and seal the grout. Almost there and still on time. A finish update when all's complete. December update: WE'RE DONE! After living in my new bathroom for a couple of weeks, I wanted to add another safety rail and asked that some sharp edges on an item be sanded down. Dennis went shopping, matched the rail to the others, sanded and smoothed until I was happy and then it was time to finalize and pay up. Very happy with all the work, his attention and his crew's attention to detail; their expertise and their suggestions and input as my ideas grew and changed. I'd use Professional Home Improvement, Inc. again - in fact, I am planning on using them again as soon as I get the next set of ideas on paper. I was extremely pleased with all of the work done. I got great suggestions for where to look for paint, tile and counter tops and which ones would look good. Denise kept me informed as to what was going on and what would be done next. Although such a renovation is disruptive the kitchen was usable for most of the time during work. I have, and will recommend Professional Home Improvements to all of my friends and I will use them for my next job.

He was very easy to work with. He gave me badly needed recommendations. I plan to use him again.

Apparently, my home isn't in a neighborhood that's good enough for the contractor to spend his time on. He never provided a quote.

I have postponed the project.

This was our first renovation of any type and really struggled with which contractor to hire . Will contact PHI for any projects in the future.

They were wonderful. They were very easy to work with and definitely did a great job. We would definitely use them again.
