Dennis and Florian did a great job remodeling our master bathroom. They were prompt, efficient, friendly, and easy to work with. The job was completed on time and within budget, and it looks wonderful!

Recently hired Professional Home Improvement to re-do my small hall bathroom in my 1960s ranch. Dennis did a great job recommending products and giving me guidance on finishes - while respecting my budget, tastes and timelines. The work teams were coordinated well, punctual and neat - got everything done in under 2 weeks. I’ve been enjoying my new bath for over a month now with no problems. Would definitely recommend this organization.

I was extremely pleased. All workers involved were professional and highly skilled. They were very cooperative with my schedule and kept me informed fully with texts and photos as the work progressed. There were respectful of the home and protected the floors and cleaned thoroughly when the job was complete.

Dennis is an awesome contractor. I had never done a remodel before and he was so helpful in walking me thru the process as well as calming me down when I started second guessing myself. All of his staff were on time, polite and very professional. Near the end of the cabinet installation we realized one of the cabinets was wrong. The guys kept working and I was thinking they would have to come back the next day. To my surprise they had called the company and the correct cabinet was delivered before they finished. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

The entire process was one of the best remodeling jobs we have had. We have had three prior remodeling experiences and this was by far the best. I checked Angie's list and called PHI because their reviews were very favorable. In June 2016 Dennis evaluated my home and came up with recommendations that would make my house into a dream house. He worked with me and the kitchen interior designer to change the layout of the kitchen to turn it from rustic dark to open and light. The appliances were replaced with Jenn-Air and after pricing myself, the price he got from the dealer was comparable to lesser quality appliances. The Kitchen was gutted and new wiring installed to accommodate new configuration. The new cabinets were top quality, new tech and beautiful. New flooring throughout, new paint that lightened up the entire interior. Creaky staircase was repaired and re finished it into a beautiful selling point. Granite counter tops in kitchen and bath made the whole house look new and up to date. The old bathroom tile was replaced with porcelain tile that matched the flooring throughout the house. Dennis is the only contractor I have ever dealt with that kept his word on what work was to be done at what time. If there was a problem he kept in contact and informed me there would be a delay or a an acceleration in the work schedule. NOT ONE TIME DID HE LEAVE ME HANGING. I really hate dealing with things like this but PHI made it easy on me and lessened the hassle of dealing with contractors. BOTTOM LINE: When the house went on the market it sold in 38 days. Not one negative from prospective buyers about the house. After the first month the price was reduced and within two days we had a contract for $3,000 more than asking price. Renovations are expensive, but you have to spend money to make money. Dennis and his team made me money and that is what its all about.

Dennis and his team were professional, courteous, and an overall pleasure to work with. We had his team completely gut our master bath and start from scratch. The main focus for us was to enlarge our shower and modernize our 25 year old bathroom. His team did exactly that! For every decision needed from us, Dennis was prepared for all the questions we asked and offered up recommendations based on professional experience and knowledge. Dennis always kept us apprised of who was coming, when they were coming, and what to expect. Best of all, the job stayed on schedule and on budget!

It was amazing!!! Dennis took our idea, made it better, and brought it into reality! We had always dreamed about having a bathroom and a functioning kitchen in the basement, where our son now lives. Dennis gave us a thorough and accurate contract, and did everything that was promised. Dennis' workers were always thoughtful, kind, prompt, efficient, and excellent in their work. I never had to check-up on the work, or question what was being done. When we realized that a door size I had chosen was too small, Dennis corrected it immediately. We owned existing flooring, which we wanted to install ourselves to save on the cost. Dennis made sure we had adequate time to do our part before his workers resumed the installation. Dennis is the most trustworthy provider of services that we have ever hired! I have already recommended him numerous times.

The bathroom was completely gutted. New toilet, tub, vanity counter top and sinks, flooring, tile, lighting and cabinets. The kitchen renovation included all new cabinets, counter tops and back splash. I highly recommend this company and the contractor, Dennis Delashmit. He uses the same professionals who provide excellent service. The estimate for the work and cost were very comparable to the other contractors I contacted. While other contractors I interviewed told me what I wanted, Dennis and team made sure my expectations were met. The work was well orchestrated, done timely and I love the finished products. You can trust that you will not have "contractor" nightmares if you select Professional Home Improvement for your project. I am using this company for further work.

Dennis was always patient and very professional. I am very pleased with the results. I have heard horror stories of kitchen renovations but that was not my experience at all. Electricians, plumbers, installers were all courteous, on time and did good work. I always felt the most important aspect of the job was whether or not I was pleased with the outcome. Highly recommend.

Dennis and team were phenomenal. They worked with us on every detail and ensured the work was done professionally and flawlessly. Florin was phenomenal and did awesome detailed tile work to add some designer touches that we did not even think of. We are so pleased with the work that we are having them back next week to do our two other upstairs bathrooms. I would highly recommend them. My only wish is that they were not so booked so we could have gotten them back quicker, but that's a signal to me that they are good at what they do!!! By the way, I had other estimates for this same work(total demolish and redo on master bath) that were significantly higher.

Very well. This was the first time we have done a project like this and Dennis was terrific. He helped us from the design, giving us his suggestions when we needed input, to selecting materials and completing the work. Professional Home Improvement coordinated everything and the completed work was exactly what we wanted. We have heard stories about how difficult kitchen renovations can be but ours went very smoothly.

This was a complete remodeling of the master bath in a mid-century ranch from the bare studs to completed product. The work was just great - fast, clean, and done with excellent craftsmanship. I continued using the hall bathroom for a while after the work was finished, because the master bath looked so good that I didn't want to use it. I just took photos of it for several days. I was also impressed with the quote. Initially, it seemed to be higher than one of the other quotes, but after carefully reviewing it I realized that it would end up costing less, because it was very detailed and included all of the items that would have cost extra in the other quotes. They did the work exactly as described in the quote. Dennis and his team were easy to work with. I made a couple of design changes along the way and there no problems at all.

Excellent! Every step in the process went very smoothly. I was even able to change plans half-way through. After seeing how gorgeous the walk in shower was, I asked if the bathroom walls could be tiled partway up. Florin was able to do it and make it look like that was the original plan. Also I now enjoy going in the laundry room whereas it used to be depressing just to walk in it. It's been almost 4 years since the work was done and I'm still loving it.

The new bathroom turned out about as perfectly as we could have imagined. Dennis personally supervised the entire process, though much credit needs to be given to Florin. He was very mindful to cover our nearby furniture and floor in plastic during the demolition, and each day, when he was done with his work, he would take the time to sweep and clean up after himself. Not to mention that he performed meticulous, beautiful work. This renovation was more out of necessity than aesthetic preference, but in the process, we ended up with a master bathroom that we love much more than the one we inherited. Working with Dennis also helped us realize that no project is too "big" or daunting; we look forward to working with him again should we decide to do further work to our home.

Our experience working with Dennis was excellent. Highly recommend! Costs were clearly outlined from the beginning to end, there were no surprises. He worked very well with our budget and gave us the kitchen of our dreams, which we didn't think we could afford. One of the things that really stood out was how intent Dennis was on making sure we got what we wanted. He was extremely patient throughout the remodel, but most especially through the design process. His crew was also very professional, efficient, and highly skilled. Everyday after work was completed, the area was left clean and tidy. We felt comfortable with everyone who worked on the house. We were pleasantly surprised by how quickly the work was completed. Dennis will be our first choice for future remodels without question!

Dennis and every one of his crew were very meticulous in their work. They showed up promptly, were all very courteous and were always professional--even when we reversed a decision. They are an amazing team of experts and have excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail! Our first reaction to the finished job was "WOW!" We have the master bath that surpassed our vision. Dennis came over to provide me an estimate for the work right on time, as scheduled. I was lucky that he was able to fit in my job - about 2.5 days of work - between two pieces of a much bigger job he had going only a week or so after he estimated my job. He arrived right on time with the worker as scheduled. The work progressed well right away, and was done in less than 2.5 days. One part of the job - installing a mirror- could not be done as the mirror didn't fit, however, there were two tiles that needed to be replaced, and that was done with no additional cost to me. I did notice a small issue of a leaking sink stopper and had to ask him to come back, which he graciously did on my schedule. One thing I was very happy about was Dennis keeping me informed on timing. "We will be there between..." was a real comfort to me. I could get time off work, and know that the time would be spent wisely, not wasted in waiting. The work is quality, despite being done on a 35-year old house. I have two more bathrooms in the house that are in similar 35-year old shape, and I will definitely consider Dennis for those when the time comes to do those.

Did not have to be there while they were working. I felt totally comfortable with all of the people doing the work and they all did a wonderful job. I also got a lot of help as to where it go to pick such things as tile, paint and flooring. I will definately use them for other jobs.

We are extremely pleased with all the work Dennis has done for us. Our new bathroom is just what we wanted. All the tile, woodwork, plumbing, etc are very well done. The doors and windows fit perfectly. The paint is well matched. We will definitely call Dennis again when we are ready to remodel the kitchen.

We had the main floor shower remodeled first and it went very smoothly. Florin did all the rebuilding and tile work, he did a beautiful job. He was very easy to work with and helped us make decisions regarding grout color, placement of the bench, etc. The custom glass doors were the last to be installed and we love them. The upstairs bathroom was a much bigger job. Dennis gave us an estimate after looking closely at the space and writing us a very detailed quote. He also let us know the timing of when he could get started on this project. Florin came in to demo the old bathroom and made sure he covered the hallway and stairs to keep everything clean. Everyday he was in our house he did this. The plumber, electrician and glass guys were all introduced to me with Dennis there to go over details of what we wanted done. Dennis and Florin would help us make decisions any time we asked. Florin paid close attention to the details in the work being done throughout the project. The bathroom was completed in the time and price originally stated. We are absolutely thrilled with our new bathroom!!

I left a voicemail for PHI after reading other reviews, though I was hesitant because another reviewer mentioned how busy this company was. That must be true, because I never got a returned call for anyone. We have since gone to another company, but it was disappointing that we got no response at all.

Dennis provided expert advice about the kitchen renovations needed to prepare our home to sell. He completed beautiful work quickly, and the home went under contract within three days for more than listing price. Dennis is extremely professional, neat, creative, friendly, and reliable. All of his workers are, too.
