Description of Work: PHI remodeled our master bath, walk-in closet, and put hardwood floors in the master bedroom. The master bath and walk=in closet were taken down to the studs and redone. Will have PHI remodel the half bath on the main floor later this year (2015).

Description of Work: Dennis was great to work with! He was so accommodating and did a great job. He got the job done a week ahead of schedule. I highly recommend him and will call him for sure with our next project!! Thank you Dennis! We love our new house!!!

Description of Work: Small Renovation of Downstairs Powder Room. I talked to Dennis on February 7 and described that I would like to raise the height of my bathroom counter, then we are going to install a granite counter top. We also want to add a wood frame around the mirror over the counter - it's about 7 feet wide. We also want to paint the cabinets. Dennis asked me to send him some pictures of the powder room and he would send me a quote. I felt that my job may have been too small for him. He was very nice and professional, however I never heard from him. I did not call him back either. So neither one of us followed through. So please consider this just a "no follow through". Most of his other reviews look great which is why I called him. Unfortunately, cannot comment on quality of work.

Description of Work: I actually did not get an opportunity to use their services. I was speaking directly to Dennis, and I guess I wasn't telling him what he wanted to hear. He hung up on me...yes he did. I thought at first we got disconnected, so I tried to call back. it rang, no answer. I called again. No answer. I sent an e-mail, No response. My wife called him. No anwer. I sent a second email, No response. I have yet to hear from him. I will say this, I will NEVER use him. What he doesn't realize is, while I can't do Both bathrooms, I can do one of them, CASH. I am going to find someone else to do the job. I will NOT be treated that way by anyone! I am glad to know what type of a person I am dealing with, now.

Description of Work: Project began with a leaking shower into garage. The shower was gutted and the repairs were made along with installation of new tile in the shower and on the bathroom floor.

Description of Work: The tub and floor of the bathroom were torn out and replaced with a ceramic tile walk-in shower and matching tile flooring. New fixtures, ceramic shelves , grab bars and shower door were installed. A new toilet was installed and the vanity cabinet was raised 4 inches and reinstalled with a new top and fixture. A ceiling and wall in the study, badly damaged from a leaky roof, were completely repaired and repainted. Walls and ceiling of a full interior staircase were repaired and repainted.

Description of Work: I hired him to replace boards and railing on my deck, various drywall work in three bathrooms, replaced framing around our front door and is supposed to come back and put in a ceiling in our office as well as possibly remodel a bathroom for me.

Description of Work: I have used this company for several projects including remudding bathroom walls; change out composite siding with hardiplank siding and paint exterior; remodel kitchen and installed two new entry door units. The kitchen remodel included new cabinet doors, counter top, sink, install dishwasher, range hood and lighting.

Description of Work: Professional Home Improvement, Inc. was recommended to me by a friend. Mr. Delaschmit contacted me immediately after my initial call. He came to my house and we went all around it discussing details of repair work. Mr. Delaschmit gave me an estimate by the end of the week. I also enlisted his help in building a screened in porch. He gave me an estimate. He and his crew removed wallpaper, fixed a leak in my roof, repainted a hallway, and did general repairs around the house. I enlisted his help in September. Since he had several jobs going at once, he did not begin the porch until about Thanksgiving. The porch was completed on Christmas Eve. This was not an issue with me, since I did not have a deadline in mind. Mr. Delaschmit did not overcharge or come up with "extras".

Description of Work: The was a complete remodeling of a galley kitchen in a 1961 brick ranch. Professional Home Improvement general contractor and owner Dennis Delashmit worked with us over several weekends to plan the whole job. He took careful measurements of the kitchen, then accompanied us to a home improvement store to help with ordering the new cabinets, making sure the correct measurements were used in the home improvement store computer cabinet design and ordering programs. He brought an electrician, plumber, custom cabinet maker (for one cabinet), and tile floor installer to the house to see the kitchen and offer advice and estimates. Each tradesman helped plan the new kitchen: how many ceiling fixtures, under cabinet lighting, running a gas pipe to the range, what types of tiles are the best, and so on. We directly purchased the appliances we wanted, same for cabinets, plumbing fixtures, floor tiles, dishwasher, paints, and under cabinet light fixtures, Corian countertops, ventilation hood over stove, anything except rough building materials, we purchased, so all such design decisions were ours, after input from the contractor. The contractor provided all other building materials and labor. He removed all old cabinets, countertops, old appliances, the plumber and electrician doing their parts of the demolition. They rented a dumpster for disposal of debris. The contractor removed the old flooring, replaced water-damaged subflooring with new felt underlayment and 1/2" or 5/8" plywood (screwed, not nailed to joists to make a solid and silent floor), fiberglass-insulated the walls and installed 1/2" thick plywood sheathing on the wall studs, then installed the cabinets which went flawlessly (the measurements were good), he fixed a crack in the ceiling. The tile man did a great job with the cement-board and ceramic floor tiles, and ceramic tile backsplashes with decorative tile. The priming and paint job was very neat and came out beautiful. The recessed incandescent ceiling fixtures were well thought out in both numbers and locations, and they give lots of light. We wanted four small appliance 20A circuits (all GFCI protected as per code) - no problem with our requests in this regard. The Xenon under-counter lighting has inconspicuous wiring direct to a wall switch.
