Movers were 5 hours late arriving at 7:30 pm. I had to call several times that day to see what the situation was. I was promised a discount for the problems, but they didn't follow through with that. Movers complained the entire time about how late it was and how heavy things were, etc. Their truck broke down within the first mile of leaving the apartment. They were unable to move the previous homeowner's belongings that evening, which was part of our contract. So, we had our belongings and the previous homeowners in the house at the same time. The movers weren't able to move everything for 2 days. It was the worst experience I have ever had in any service industry. The owner was completely removed from the situation and wouldn't return phone calls at all. Her staff continued to defer to her. After my 5th phone call, the owner's husband verbally threatened me on the phone if I didn't stop calling. They are horrible and lack the ability to run a decent company.

M company booked this moving firm to move our office at 5:30pm this evening. They arrived two hours late, they did not call to let us know they were on their way. When they arrived, they did not have any means of lifting our furniture other than 4 laborers (no dolly/wrapping/tape/blankets. They advised that because they had no tools to assist, the move would take several hours. I asked to speak to their owner. The head mover called her. (it was now 8.30pm) Ms Blasco would not take my call as ''it was family time'' I said that I would be complaining fully to her the next day. The movers began moving boxes of computer/fragile kitchenware stacked two high on our office chairs. They then disappeared for about 15 minutes and returned to say they were not going to move us as Ms Blasco felt that we were difficult customers. They returned (I believe) all the boxes and left at 9.00pm. Please, please, don't take my word for it, check out the BBB rating and make your own decision
Description of Work: Please don't use this moving company. I wish I had looked at their Better Business Bureau rating before hiring them. One Good Woman Moving were supposed to move my business from one location to another. As my building has regulations about moving, we couldn't move before 5.30pm. What worries me is that the number 2 in charge said they've had similar complaints before.
