Arrived on time. Did their work quickly and thoroughly.

John and Mark showed up at our scheduked time and date and performed the box change-out, survey and labeling and also added a duplex outlet in the basement crawl space for a de-humidifier unit. The job was completed in about 5 hours which was the expected time frame. They made sure all circuits were functioning before the cleaned up and left. I have used Browning Electrical Service before and was fully satisfied with that work also and would recommend them.

He called me early the next day and said that he did not work on furnaces but recommended someone who did. The person he recommended was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly and completely fixed my problem. I am grateful to Mr. Browning for referring him.

Arrived on time. Both electricians continued to work without a break until all work was completed. Swept and cleaned up when work was done. Asked if we were staisfied with the work that was done. Needless to say we were very satified with their professionalism and work ethic. We thought the cost was very reasonable for the amount of labor they did. We have used their service before and have always been very satisfied. We strongly recommend using their service.

He advised me to call the electric company after hearing what I had say. He was very honest and nice on the phone.

John Browning called and confirmed appointment, arrived on time, found the problem why the power outlet didn't work and corrected the wiring problem. Outlet is now functional. When I called Mr. Browning, I explained that the two outlets and two lights on our deck would not work. I added that the situation did not represent an emergency so he could come by whenever it was convenient for him and his staff. Mr. Browning came by the following afternoon while my wife and I were out for lunch, but he was able to rapidly diagnose the problem and replace the defective part. When we returned from lunch, we found that power to the deck had been restored and Mr. Browning had left his invoice in the mailbox. This was the third time we had used Mr. Browning for our electrical needs, and we have been totally satisfied each time. We will definitely call him for any future needs.

The bedroom closet light fixture began to worked intermittently. John and Mack responded promptly to my return visit service request. The problem was diagnosed and it turned out due to the age of the old fixture(parts, etc .) a new, energy efficient fixture was installed. Since this was a new installed item I felt that I owed for the purchase and installation of it. But since this was a return visit John did not charge me. I have used Browning Electrical several times. They have always been very professional, courteous and promptness to a service call request.

They showed up first thing in the morning and completed the work providing all of the materials. I have used John several times, He understands my older, quirky building. His pricing is fair but not cheap and I trust him to do the work properly and safely.

Browning Electrical Services was good, punctual, gave me a convenient schedule. They came and did their work, turned around and gave a quote. They did a good job as far as coming and giving me a consultation of how much everything would be.

He was wonderful! He was very careful and thorough and he made sure the fan was installed correctly and he did an outstanding job!

I basically disregarded the estimate; it was an unprofessional estimate. It didn’t look professional as being presented to the seller of the house. The timeliness in which Browning got back to me was significantly longer than other companies. The quote was $975. In the quoting process, they used Microsoft Word or Publisher to send out their estimate but it's just not there. I ended up going with a contractor that was not on Angie's List. The way they contacted me as well as spoke with me didn’t seem presenting a customer space. They were pleasant and nice. I felt like I was talking to my neighbor who was a farmer when I was growing up as a kid. I just didn’t get the professionalism I expected. They never actually came out to the property.

Called John Browning and explained the problem.Told him that I thought it was the CB and to give me a couple of hours and I would call him back.He estimated it cost me about $120. I went out to buy a CB and when I arrived back at my house John and a helper were there. (he called a few minutes before I arrived and said he was in the area). I said go ahead a find the problem. He did a good job of trouble shooting and within 30 minutes determined that the CB was OK and that he was 95% certain that there was a short in the bedroom ceiling fan wiring. He then stated it would be $200 to fix it since he would have to remove the fan blades and drop the fan. I stated NO, it would not be necessary to remove the blades. I have helped put fans up in the past. He then stated he could do it for $175 if he didn't remove the blades. Within 15 minutes he found the shorted wire, replaced it and was on his way. Going from an estimate of $120 to $200 in the middle of the job was unprofessional in my opinion. John and his assistant were both very nice gentlemen and eager to help me out on short notice, but I was not comfortable with his pricing strategy. The troubleshooting and the corrective action was satisfactory. Additionally I asked him for an estimate to run a replacement electrical line from my house to a workshop in my back yard (70 feet). I felt his estimate was extremely high.

The Electrician was very good, he put a new reset switch in for my breaker box. (for my associated plug.) Also hooked up a garbage disposal for me as well.

They arrived exactly when they said they would and the worrk took exactly as long as they said it would. They did a wonderful job. The lights look like they've always been there, There was not one thing in the room that was disturbed, no dust, no attic insulation. Looked lke they'd never been here. W are very pleased. We highly recommend them and will definitely be calling on them again.

For years I had postponed having my electric box checked out because of it seeming such a daunting task.After receiving estimates that were around $800.00 plus and being informed of the very lengthy process involved, speaking with John Browning was a blessing. He came out one day to give an assessment of what needed to be done about the extremely rusted out bottom. His said the box needed to be replaced , gave an estimate of how long it would take and how much it would cost. The time estimate and the price were such a surprise I asked if he were kidding.When asked about all of the steps in the process , he said , "I will take care of that for you." And he did..He came back later in the week and replaced mine and my neighbor's boxes in one morning ! Not only was I pleased with his work , I went around asking my neighbors if they needed their electric box replaced.He will definitely be called again if the need arises. I am so happy for Angie's List as a resource for finding someone who is highly qualified, efficient and whose price is reasonable.

Mr. Browning came in person within a day of my call to provide me an estimate and scheduled the installation within a few days of the estimate. He and his associate were on time, did exactly what he said he would do, cleaned up all items and had it completed in just a few hours. On another note, when he arrived early in the morning, we could not find our car keys to move the car out of the garage. Of course we were embarrassed and felt badly that we were messing up his schedule. He was very professional and accommodating and came back a few hours later after we found the keys. The fact that we didn't have to reschedule for another day was a real bonus. Highly recommend and we would invited him back for any electrical work we have. We used Angie's List to find him and all the good reviews are well-deserved. Update (6/20/12): I had another problem similar to the first one and called Mr. Browning. He came out to the house within a few days, fixed the problem and did not charge me! He said it was something they should have corrected the first time they were here. Imagine my surprise. I would have had no idea if the problem was a new one or a related one. Not only is he thorough but works with integrity too.

My wife wasn’t aware that there was going to be a charge for them to come and do the work that they did initially.

Perfect. They showed up on time, did the work, cleaned up, and even helped me move the refrigerator to the new location. (That's why I needed the outlet moved.)

Great. Mr. Browning came quickly, completed the work quickly and correctly, and charged a reasonable price for the service performed. I am very satisfied.
