Description of Work: I have a small backyard area (16x16) and needed to have it cleaned up after a winter of neglect and a busy spring where I couldn't get to it - specifically had Moses and his team do some weed removal, mowing, trimming edging, breaking up of moss and some overseeding of areas in the yard. Just generally trying to spruce it up. Also had him do some pruning of azeleas and other plants/shrubs around the house and had him prune and remove a couple small trees (less than 15 feet tall) in the backyard.

Trimmed the bushes, cleaned the yard and flower beds from weeds and debris, bagged the yard waste, mowed the grass, edged, blown the yard, replaced the pine straw, the crew is very professional and kind! Best service I have ever had!

Description of Work: My review is for the misleading advertising of locations served in Atlanta. I live in the heart of Atlanta, like 7 minutes from downtown. Areas served listed on Angie's List indicate Metro Atlanta. I needed to quickly find someone to cut my lawn. It was such a waste of my time to have this detailed call about where I live only to hear them say they don't do this area. Well don't say you serve Metro Atlanta. They don't go west on I-20 past I-75. Don't waste your time calling these guys if you don't live in Decatur, Lithonia or Stone Mountain

Description of Work: My husband and I needed to replace our thinning sod, suffering from excessive shade and damage from the "Great Flood" of 2010. We settled on zoysia grass to suit the shade and contacted five providers for estimates. Only three responded, with estimates ranging from $2000-$5000 for the job. We were looking to 1) remove the existing bermuda grass, 2) remove feeder tree roots, 3) till/cultivate existing soil, 4) amend the soil to prepare for the fresh sod.

Description of Work: I had already had my regular yard company come and then we had a big storm with lots of debrie everywhere and I had an important occasion that night. I called and they came and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: A crew of 4 guys came out and mowed my lawn, trimmed bushes, removed leaves, pulled weeds and picked up fallen twigs.

Description of Work: We asked 911 Lawn care to come out and give us an estimate to regrade and re-landscape our entire front and back yard. Moses came out, took lots of notes and seemed to understand what we wanted. I called him a few weeks later because we decided to expand the scope in the backyard. Again Moses came out and seemed to understand what we wanted. I asked specifically, 'will the bobcat be able to grade the backyard even though we have a fence', yes he responded. I reached out to him again just days before we were start to ask how many truckloads of fill dirt we needed, '4' he responded. So, we order 4 truckloads of dirt, Moses' son (no Moses) and team show up with the bobcat and they start grading. A few hours go by and we go out to look and the grading is not correct. Both my husband and I say to the son, 'the grading is not correct, it should be this way' and he insists that no, the grading is fine and what we want. Husband and I look at each quizzically and go inside. 911 lawn care leaves but the bobcat guy stays. He asks us how the grading looks now that he's done and we say, it's not right. Should be this way and that and he says, that's not what Moses' son said. Sorry, it's not correct, re-do it. By the way, you also need to grade the back and he says, my bobcat can't get through the fence (remember, we asked this question earlier). Bobcat guy is not happy but we tried to fix it earlier to no avail. From there the relationship went downhill. Moses comes the next time and they haul dirt to the backyard by hand in wheelbarrows and seems annoyed that he has to do this. (This is still in scope of what we asked for). While working I ask Moses if we need French drains in the yard, he says 'Yes, probably' but he NEVER mentioned this in either of his previous visits. He says we should go pick up the parts and he'll put them in. Whatever. We get the parts but apparently since Moses' team already graded the yard it's now too late to put the drains in. Fine, I say, I'll put them in this coming weekend and he says no, that's too late. He is losing money on this job and needs to get it done now. He'll put the drains in but I need to know that he's losing money. At this point I am fed up, tell him if he's unhappy he doesn't have to come back. Return the check for work he has not performed and be on his way. He does and we find another landscaper who is excellent, honest and easy to work with.
