It went bad nearly from the very beginning. The fireplace went in the place, the wrong windows ordered. Any all mistakes were never his fault and would be extra to fix. He cheated and lied repeatedly. He cheated us on the square footage. The electrical was bad, the plumbing was faulty, the Concrete Slab a nightmare (hills and valleys, to include the garage slab sloping towards the house 5/8ths of an inch), the bedroom windows did not open to pass code. The roof was not too code and had to be redone. The ground around the house and the drainage off the roof was not too code. Only thanks to County Manager Alan Ours was our certificate of occupancy was revoked. Do Not trust this builder to construct a house to codes or for Lee County to catch his mistakes. We have spent $50K in repairing, replacing and suing him for his terrible work. We will see no relief because He bragged to us and our lawyer that there is nothing to get because he put it all in his mom's name. Do not believe him when he says licensing, bonding or insurance will protect you from his terrible building practices. He promised to build a VA built house and it turns out he doesn't even know what those standards are.
