Mr. Greg Elrod did a fantastic job. Emailed Greg a few days ago to get an estimate on a chimney sweep. Very responsive via email and we were able to mutually agree on a date and time. Greg called the morning of the sweep, about 40 minutes before arrival to confirm. Arrived on time. Very personable guy.. Prepared the work area, as not to cause any mess, and proceeded to clean out the fire box and chimney. I had requested an inspection of the brick chimney as well, as it had not been attended to for some time.He did a GREAT job with no mess. Gave me a quick overview of what he saw and what he would recommend to be repaired. He is going to email me an estimate and I would assume, as long as the price is not too expensive, we will be using Mr. Elrod once again. I could not be happier with Greg's service and overall knowledge and professionalism. The job, as mentioned above, was done in a very efficient and clean manner and spot on the estimate. Nice to see a guy that is trying to do good work, make a living and not feel a need to rip people off at the same time. I would highly recommend Greg, and will more than likely be using him again soon, to complete the need repairs on the the chimney.

Greg is very personable and knowledgeable about chimney work. He responded to an email, gave us an estimate and explained in detail what work would be done. He communicated with us to be sure we knew when he would arrive and completed the project when he said he would. His attention to detail and the quality of his work was excellent.

My call for an estimate was returned quickly. Greg Elrod (the owner) came and went up on my roof to measure the chimney and give me an exact estimate. He did not charge for the estimate as a lot of companies do. He was professional and knowledgeable. He estimated it would take 2 weeks to manufacture the cap, but he called within 10 days to say it was ready. He came the next day and installed the cap. He was on-time and efficient. His final bill matched the estimate exactly. It was a great experience. I would definitely use him again.

Greg returned my call promptly and set up a time to come by for the inspection. He arrived on time. He seems very knowledgeable about his work and will explain things as he works. Although no major work was performed, he spent a lot of time at my house and only charged me for a service call. He showed me areas where I can make minor repairs myself or he could come back and perform. He is the owner of the business and seems very conscientious about his work. He is also friendly, fair and very trustworthy. I will definitely use him again.

Greg Elrod, the business owner, removed the old chimney cap, provided a new chimney cap from a local vendor, and painted it before installing it. He was easy to deal with. He explained what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. He seems to have done a good job; the cap has not been exposed to use or extreme weather yet. Only time will tell about the final result.

Greg arrived on time and immediately took pains to secure our home from soot and dust. After the inspection, he explained and showed me what the problems were and what he would do to fix them and how much it would cost. I okayed his sweeping the chimney during this visit. I was so impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail, we made arrangements for him to return Monday and complete the repairs. Again, he arrived on time, prepared for the job and began immediately. The repair was completed and he was exactly on his estimate. I was very impressed and have recommended him to my neighbors. He has added pressure washing to his services and I am having him return and pressure wash our driveway and patio.

Greg arrived exactly at the time he promised. Stayed about 1.5 hours giving an estimate and also answering other questions I had about my chimney. Once I called him back to tell him that I wanted him to do the job, he was out the next day. No more water coming in chimney and the chimney cap looks great where he painted. Very nice and friendly guy. He is my chimney guy for now on. :)

Very well. I was able to set an appointment on my initial call. I was given a courtesy call the day before and the morning of my appointment. They were on time and very personable.

He was very prompt and courteous during the whole visit. One thing I really liked was that he called before he came to tell me when he would arrive. He was careful to not track any dirt or dust through the house and put up his equipment quickly when he was finished. I would definitely recommend his service and plan to use his company again.

Greg reviewed the materials we purchased, as well as the instruction sheet. He made a trip to Lowe's and purchased additional materials needed to adapt the new unit (designed for attachment to a right, side gas line) to the left-side gas fitting in our fireplace. He covered the carpet around the fireplace and was very neat about everything. He finished the job quickly and efficiently, and paid attention to the details that made the logs and "embers" look as real as possible. Greg is personable, and someone I would definitely hire again.

Greg was awesome to work with. He was ON TIME, polite, patient, thorough and knowledgeable. He scheduled appointments, confirmed them the day before and arrived promptly. He explained all repairs needed and why and explained which ones were emergent and which could wait if necessary. All of the work he did was top notch and done with care. You can tell he loves his work and approaches repairs by fixing it RIGHT, rather than through a short term patch. The work he did which is visible on the exterior of our home has increased the curb appeal thanks to his suggestions to the right way to fix it. I would trust Greg with any home repair in his expertise and call him without hesitation. We just moved to GA and started with Angie's List to find service professionals. Our experience with Greg has proven that Angie's List is an awesome source for TOP NOTCH service and QUALITY work. He exceeded our expectations from start to finish.

GREG DOES GREAT WORK AND PROTECTS THE CARPETING AND AREA HE IS WORKING IN. HE MEASURED FOR THE CAP AND MADE THE CROWN SEAL REPAIR. WHEN THE CAP CAME IN HE CAME BACK AND INSTALLED IT. I'VE BEEN USING GREG SINCE 1998. HE HAS DONE NUMEROUS SWEEPINGS AND HAD EVEN REPLACED MORTAR IN OUR FIREBOX THAT HAD CRUMBLED. HE IS A ONE MAN COMPANY SO YOU MAY HAVE TO LEAVE A MESSAGE AND LET HIM GET BACK TO YOU. WE FEEL THIS IS A SMALL PRICE TO PAY FOR GOOD SERVICE AND REASONABLE PRICING.
