Perfection Roofing & Siding

Russ gave me the middle quote of the three quotes I got, but he was the only one that insisted that I follow him to a job site and see the work they do. He has a team of true craftspeople who clearly take pride in their work. My job was smaller than most (only soffit and facia), but I believe they gave it the same attention they would have given the Governor's Mansion. I couldn't be happier with the quality and timeliness of the work they did.

The work he does speaks for itself and he answers my questions. He is always available and he works hard to get the job done right. His work is fantastic.

This bathroom window replacement process went great from beginning to end. The new window is a major upgrade from the one that came with the house (which had leaked, become clouded and had dry rot). The replacement window fit exactly into the existing opening. The installation was done right on schedule and completed quickly. While some additional work and materials were required, the original estimated price was honored and thus there was no additional cost. Only a small upfront down payment was needed with full payment afterward upon satisfactory completion of the work. Communication with the company was excellent throughout the project, and afterward.

Most contractors really do not want to do small jobs. I realize that they may feel it is not cost effective. I had a contractor price my chimney repair at 4 times the price Russ gave me at Perfection. Russ's price was very reasonable and the quality of work was top notch. The job was delayed a few days due to rain. Russ kept me informed every step of the way about the delay. This is a company that understands and delivers professionalism, from the estimate to the final walk through. Russ and LaLo (the painter) could not have done a better job. The repair was completed with high quality materials. The painting and caulking is VERY WELL DONE, in fact, the chimney is much better than it was done the first time. Would I hire them again? Without hesitation. Would I recommend them? YES, YES, YES! In fact, I already have and I will again.

I'm so delayed in writing this review but I can't express how pleased I am with Russ and the entire experience. He is a man of his word and despite falling ill, he made sure our project got done on schedule. His crew worked very hard and did an incredible job. We have had a lot of work done on our home and my experience with Russ was the most stress-free, high quality job ever! I would recommend Perfection Siding & Windows without any reservation!

Several of the windows and doors on my house had brick mould, sills, and trim that had rotted. I also needed to have the house painted. In the back of my mind, I already knew who I wanted to paint the house because they painted my friend's house about a year ago. When I saw her paint job, I was impressed. I had never seen caulking done as well as her house so I made a mental note that when the time came to paint my house, I wanted her painters. So I was trying to find someone just to do the wood repairs but was having trouble. At some point I got the name of the company from my friend, Perfection Roofing and Siding. I checked out their website and saw that they also did windows so that made me feel like they were also qualified to do the wood repairs needed. When I called Russ Morton at Perfection Roofing and Siding and told him I was impressed with the paint job on my friend's house, he was very pleased to hear how impressed I was with their work. Not long after that we scheduled a time for him to come see my house to give me an estimate to do the wood repairs and paint. Like all painters, he said that preparation was the most time consuming part. Like all painters, he said they would scrape paint, caulk, etc. He gave me an estimate that was not the cheapest, but since I had seen his work, and because I wanted quality, I agreed and we signed a contract. Unlike other painters though, he said they would use a lot of high quality caulk and entomb my house with paint. He warned me that other painters might use cheaper and less caulk and paint than his painters would. He was correct because I had talked to another painter who was trying to determine if he could get away with only one coat of paint. I don't want to get away with anything, I want the house painted well. Another thing that was different than other painters was that after we had established the price, he asked if I needed any exterior lights replaced. My first thought was no but then I realized that now was the time to do it so my answer changed to yes but he didn't increase the price. I found it refreshing that he didn't feel a need to nickel and dime me for every thing they were going to do. A painter named Lino and his assistant showed up to paint. They scraped, caulked, and replaced rotted wood. They scraped and caulked more than any other painters I have ever hired. Then they did something that really impressed me, they masked! I have never had a painter willing to mask. Any time I have asked they have virtually refused and acted like I was insulting them (yet somehow they still managed to get paint on things they shouldn't have). Not Lino and his assistant. They masked shingles in places they painted over. They masked brick, concrete, etc. One day I noticed light coming around one of the doors they had painted. I was wondering why I saw light. It was because they removed the weather stripping to paint. Again, something other painters have not done. When they worked, I detected a completely different mindset than what I have witnessed with other painters. Other painters look at what they have to paint and try to find the quickest, easiest, way to paint it. Not Lino. I truly felt like he looked at my house as a whole and asked himself how he would want it to look if it were his house. He just did things and fixed things other painters don't do. He removed exterior lights rather than painting around them for example. He took gutter downspouts off the house so he could paint well behind them. He removed weather stripping from doors. He removed the brass kick plates from the bottom of my front doors. Russ said they would entomb my house with paint but I think it would be more fair to say they entombed it with caulk and paint. Every time I spoke with Russ I heard the same comment, "I just want you to be happy." It wasn't just talk either. He meant it. Two final things I will say that I think really reveals Lino's commitment to his craft is when they were nearly finished. Unlike other painters, they had scraped so much bad paint off the house that the lava rock and parts of the yard were littered with paint strips. I asked Lino to please try to clean it up. I didn't expect much but when I saw it, I couldn't believe that I saw no paint strips. I am not sure how they pulled that one off. The last thing was that about 20 minutes before they were ready to leave, I noticed paint on some of the weather stripping around the front door. I wasn't even sure it was from them. The reason I thought it might be was because the paint on the stripping actually looked good and very little paint from the previous painting still looked good at this time. Since I didn't know it was them that got the paint on the weather stripping, Lino could have easily convinced me they didn't do it and I would have let it slide. But, I decided to ask Lino because when I saw it, I just knew it would be one of those things that would bother me later. When I asked him about it, he did say they didn't do it. Then he convinced me when he said they had removed the weather stripping before they painted. Oh yeah, that's right! I knew they did that. So this paint was from the previous painters. Then Lino said, if I wanted, I could run up to the store and buy some weather stripping and he would replace it for me. Not only did he offer to do that, he rode up to Lowes with me to make sure I bought the right thing. I know how bad he wanted to go home but he went above and beyond and really showed character offering to replace that for me. Obviously at this point, I recommend Perfection Roofing and Siding, and Lino, without reservation. They did a fantastic job! I would hire them again without hesitation.

Rick was always very responsive and came out and gave us a very fair estimate not to exceed what he proposed. The work was done to perfection. His crew replaced all the shingles perfectly and did the work to our specifications even though we were very particular. They replaced the rotted wood with Nichiha which will last forever and never rot again. We now have Nichiha siding and Nichiha fascia board which feels like having an insurance policy on our siding and woodwork. The paint job was done to perfection. We have at least two thick coats of paint on our house and he even painted all the metal roofing to black which looks really sharp and painted the deck rails at no extra cost. Much of the work was redone or changed but Rick never raised our price. We are very pleased to say the least.

Perfection Roofing and Siding is aptly named. To steal a word from owner Russ, the work is "flawless." The sales pitch of riding around with Russ to see the other bidders work is unconventional, but well worth the time. For me, it made it made it abundantly clear why Russ's quote was more than the competition. You get what you pay for, and Perfection siding is worth the extra money. Also, Russ only required $100 to start work, and didn't collect the balance until he walked me through the completed job. The crew was excellent. Courteous, professional, and fast. Siding was done in a day, paint the next, and then they were gone without a trace. I high recommend this provider.

What I liked most about Russ and his crew is that they sought to make us happy. If Russ could tell we were not 100% on board then he would adapt to make sure we were 100% happy. It appears to be a positive ?character defect? for Russ. If you aren?t happy he will call you continuously until he makes sure you are happy. How lucky for us!! Most contractors, that I have dealt with, when you ask them to come back and straighten/change/correct their work, could care less if you are happy with the work. They are ready to make their money and run. It seems like a foreign concept in the American work place that people that you work with want you to be happy. It was refreshing . Contractors like Russ are those you want to shout from the mountain tops to support their business since they cared about you and your family. They took an ugly duckling house with tons of rotten wood and a demolished chimney chase and brought the whole house back to safe standards and good form. Roger and his crew were awesome! Russ worked out a fair price for the additional unforeseen work. I have worked with many contractors on rehabs that I do. An extra cost is where I see contractors taking advantage of people. Russ did not. He was more than reasonable and fair. Since I do complete rehabs on investment properties, I know how important the painter is. Good Paint, Good Caulking , Good Sealing and Good Painter provide you an excellent product that will last for years plus will sell that house! That is exactly what we received. Adelino was sublime!!!!. I have never had such a thorough and detailed painter on any of my jobs. (I wish I could steal that painter. He is meticulous!) We asked for bids for our property from 7 different vendors. No one touched Russ?s price. There was one vendor that I thought would be the one, before we compared Russ?s work to this vendor. This was a vendor who I wanted to go with even though they were more expensive. We saw unfinished edges and lips that needed to go further. After we compared the work, Russ?s quality was far superior and $3K cheaper. The pricing was so good, we went ahead and had new energy efficient windows installed. What a difference to have a gorgeous looking exterior and brand new windows. We now feel that in the long run we have saved a lot of money by becoming more energy efficient. His crews, whether they were the siding crew or the painter?s, came on time and remained until the last bit of daylight in order to complete the job. Once they were on the job, they moved into solid action until we were complete. I was so glad I stopped and asked my neighbor who was siding his house since it looked so nice. The neighbor was so happy and impressed with Russ?s work. So far he has done 3 houses in our neighborhood and counting. Neighbors come up to us and tell us what a nice siding and window job we had on our property. It is true. Russ and his crew made us happy. It is the way to do business. I will refer him every chance I get.

Getting new siding and paint on our house was at first an intimidating proposition because of our ignorance in the field and the expense, let alone our concern that specific issues we had with the house might not be well addressed. While the internet and discussions with other companies helped inform us, we really felt most knowledgeable after meeting Russ. He was genuinely interested to hear about our problems around certain windows and doors and our disappointment with previously done work. He explained his proposal very well and, as others have noted, he spent some time giving us a tour of other houses he had sided and painted. He also made us aware of deficiencies in flashing, carpentry, siding, and painting on other houses that we previously would not have noticed. This tutorial was very helpful, especially as we finished out talking with other firms and getting all our bids. By the time we chose Russ, we really felt we knew what we were doing. The siding crew did good quality work, smoothly replacing rotted wood, flashing and re-siding the house. The painter did detailed work, spending the time he needed to thoroughly caulk the many corners of our house before doing a great paint job. All the workers were courteous and professional and cleaned up well when they were done. An important point was the fact that Russ himself was someone we could deal with very easily. After asking him a question we always felt that we got a solid answer. He was always available and paid attention to all questions and concerns we had as the project progressed. He seemed more interested in making sure that we were happy than with just getting the job done. Although things with his crews went smoothly, we always felt that Russ would advocate for us with his workers were any problems to arise. His crews, however, also took pride in doing good work and no problems occurred. With everything now done, we are very pleased with the appearance of our house and feel that we got great value for our money. We recommend Perfection very highly.

Just like all other reviews, I am just adding another A to Russ's list of great reviews. I had a few quotes from different contractors. It was between Russ and the other one who also has all A reviews (but not many). What made me decide to choose Russ was that when I got to meet Russ, he took the time to drive me around to show the jobs he had done and working on in the area. So I was able to get immediate actual visual feedback from his work. In addition, I was able to actually get to know the person more from riding with him. He was easy to talk to, he answered my questions, addressed my concerns, and it's hard to deny 80+ A reviews that he has. Once decided and contract signed, he kept me updated on schedule and progress throughout the job. This is a rental property I had him worked on so i can't be there all the time. He worked with my schedule to ensure the progress is made. In addition to replacing the siding, they took the time to identify and replace rotted wood and made sure everything is painted and looks good. We are very happy with the end result. I'm very upset that I had to replace the siding, but I am happy now that it's done because it adds value to the property and I don't have to worry about it again for a very long time. Highly recommended. Will use again.

I own ten rental homes in the Atlanta area. I work with a lot of contractors. Russ quoted the job and said what he would do and did exactly what he promised. His price was competitive and fair. His work is A++. The last siding work I had done on one of my homes is not even in the same league as Russ?s work. If I have used a better painter than Russ?s, Adelino, I can?t remember who they are. I wish Adelino had painted the interior of my home. No headaches, no issues. I would recommend Russ to anyone looking for siding work.

Russ did an excellent job replacing the frame and siding around the chimney. His price came in much lower than the other estimates that we received. Other companies didn't want the job because of the height of the chimney but Russ and his team took it on and did wonderful work!! We would definitely recommend Russ and his team and would use him again.

I found three different siding companies on Angie's list. I got estimates from all three, and addresses to review their work. After viewing the work of all three companies Perfection's was far superior. A couple of things that stood out were the meticulous caulking and the excellence of the paint work, their final product was definitely superior. In one instance in looking at a house with siding installed by a company other than by Perfection, I was able to chat with the homeowner. The homeowner who did not use Perfection indicated there were some small things she understood in the estimate would be done, which at the end of the job were not. She further indicated it was hard to get the contractor back to address these issues. Dealing with Russ and his crew has been great, he delivered excellent quality as promised. Roger who did the siding and Adelino the painter were excellent along with the Alside window guys who exceeded my expectations. During the job they were constantly checking with me about how things were going. Roger came up with a great suggestion as to how to frame around the windows in my breakfast area and Adelino was a big help in helping me select a color to paint the house. All of the Perfection people were professional and very cognizant of my satisfaction. Anytime you go through a major renovation it is a pain in the ____. However, in my case I can tell you it was well worth the effort. I am totally pleased and satisfied in how the project turned out

I read all of the reviews before I hired Russ and now I see why everyone is so happy with his work. He spent an afternoon showing me a few of his other projects. He was extremely attentive, and was always following up with me to make sure there were no problems. Russ and his team are very professional in every aspect of their work. I would highly recommend Russ to anyone! I have already recommended him to one of my neighbors..

Our house had Abitibi siding which was rotting in numerous places. I researched many A-rated siding companies on Angie's List and received quotes from 5 and decided to go with Perfection Siding. Owner Russ Morton personally came out to our house to give us a quote, which was thousands of dollars below his competitors (in one case, $6,000 lower!). Normally this would concern me because I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for," but I'd read every review on Perfection so I wasn't surprised when the quote was much lower than the competitors. Along with installing Nichiha siding, Russ offered to replace all rotting wood around our doors with PVC brickmoulding and to install a new patio door that we purchased from Home Depot - all at no extra charge. Based on the reviews I'd read, I didn't feel like we needed to see other siding jobs Perfection had done, but Russ talked us into it and I'm glad he did. Admittedly, I'm a perfectionist and difficult to please at times, and I was stunned by the quality of the work he showed us. The 2 houses we saw looked so pristine we thought they had been completed recently but they had been done 4 and 5 years ago and still looked amazing. I can't say enough good things about both the siding crew and the painting crew. Everyone was polite, respectful of our property, they worked unbelievably hard (in 90+ degree heat!), and there was always someone present who spoke English, which facilitated communicating what we wanted. A two man crew showed up Friday morning and had all the siding removed and thrown into the dumpster by the end of the day. A four man crew showed up at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday morning and didn't leave until after 8:00 p.m. that night with only a 20 minute break for lunch. In one day they replaced the siding on the entire house, replaced all the rotting wood, and picked up the patio door at Home Depot for us and installed it. On Monday the paint crew, headed by Adelino, started their work and were finished Thursday evening. There was some accent paint on the chimney and sides of the house that we didn't like and Adelino graciously repainted it the color of the house. He's so easygoing and truly wants to make the customer happy and is willing to do extra work to make it happen. There are no words to describe how nice the house turned out - it's truly unbelievable! My neighbors are in awe and plan to use Perfection when they replace the siding on their house. Russ has followed up several times to make sure we're still happy. If you want old fashioned customer service from a company that works hard to earn your business and a house that looks spectacular - hire Perfection Siding & Windows!

The job was spectacular. Everyone who sees the work, gives me a compliment. I was nervous at first, but it was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend them.

We obtained a number of estimates, all which had As on Angies List, most with highly recognized names. One company refused the job, afraid of hurting the flat roof. Russ gave his estimate which was very reasonable. He also showed us one of his completed projects, which was very nice looking. The installation went without a hitch and the caulking painting was great. There were a couple of punch list issues which were addressed quickly and with great satisfaction. Russ threw in some nice extras, like painting the chimney top. Clean up was very good. I certainly would use this business again, particularly because of the follow up and the quality of work. Used Nichiha siding, which looks pretty good. The staff were very polite. Russ is a gregarious business owner who cares about his business and clients. The house looks great. It was a 1970s cedar siding contemporary in East Cobb that now has horizontal planks rather than those dated angles planks.

Perfection Siding &Windows did a great job for me. Russ, the owner, took me to see other jobs he had done so I could see the quality of his work. He was always prompt at returning my calls and answering any questions I had. He gave me a great price and wanted to make sure I was never taken advantage of because he knew that had happened to me in the past with previous contractors. Russ made sure I was completely satisfied and has continued to follow up with me several months later. I've received many compliments from my neighbors over all the work I had done. I would highly recommend Perfection Siding and Windows. You will receive excellent work at a great price and Russ won't be happy until the customer is 100 % satisfied.

I needed to replace the exterior window molding on all of the original windows in my house because of rot. I also wanted to replace five of the original windows. Russell quoted me a really good price for new vinyl window. It was around a third of what others had quoted me. There was one slight problem. The new custom vinyl windows did not come with the exterior molding, and that needed to be added to the cost of the job. Russell's people did all of the exterior molding for the windows and one door plus the caulking in two days. The new windows were installed by factory trained representatives in a couple of hours. The job was very well done and my wife and I are quite pleased with the results.

Russ did a GREAT job from start to finish! I initially contacted Russ to find out more about his process and he stayed on the phone with me for nearly 20 minutes answering all of my questions. On the day that he came out to look at my chimney, he again explained all that his crew would do and showed me a sample of the material that he would use. On the day of install Russ came out with his crew and again thoroughly explained the process and checked in with me and his crew throughout the day. His crew did a very thorough job and cleaned up all of the debris from the job. Russ further impressed me by realizing that his crew inadvertently took the leftover paint and personally brought it to my house a week later. I plan to use Russ again for my second chimney in the next few months. Overall, I am extremely pleased with his work and will definitely refer him to my neighbors!!!

I can't say enough good things about the job these guys did. After talking with other contractors, Russ simply showed me a number of jobs he had done and I was sold. The quality was exceptional. The work went very smoothly and the cleanup was excellent. The final product shows exceptional workmanship and the house has never looked better. This company uses quality products and completes the work just as they promise. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone -- and in fact, I have to folks that I work with. I would recommend that you give Russ a call and let him show you his work -- you'll be sold after viewing the very first house.
