Description of Work: Trimmed a large water oak tree in my backyard. I don't remember the cost, but I remember that it was reasonable. Neal did good work and seemed knowledgeable about his work. I would recommend Neal's Tree service to others.

+ -1 moreI have used John Neal several times over the years I've lived in my home. John is much more than just a tree cutter. He is an arborist and can offer great advice as to health of trees as well as whether tree roots are a danger to your foundation, driveway, etc. Plus he doesn't just cut trees at the base and let the whole thing fall to the ground, tearing off limbs from nearby trees and possibly endangering your house or a neighbor's. He cuts trees the correct way by climbing up the trunk and taking off sections of the trunk from the top, lowering sections to the ground with a rope. In the past he installed a cable between two trunk sections of a huge poplar tree to stabilize it.

+ -1 moreJOHN AND HIS GUYS HAVE DONE WORK FOR ME BEFORE; HE IS AN ARBORIST AND KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING; I NEVER EVEN CALL ANYONE ELSE WHEN I NEED TREE SERVICE.
Description of Work: THE OWNER AND TWO GUYS SPENT AN ENTIRE DAY - PRUNED AND ''LIMBED UP'' MANY OF MY HARDWOODS ALL AROUND MY YARD; TOOK DOWN ONE TULIP POPLAR AND ANOTHER SMALL WILD CHERRY; AND INSTALLED CABLES IN TWO PLACES BETWEEN THE TWIN MAIN TRUNKS HIGH UP IN ANOTHER HUGE OLD TULIP POPLAR TO KEEP IT MORE SECURE DURING A STORM.
