Garrett provided exceptional service with repairing my garage door. This is the second time I've used this company and they are extremely reliable, dependable, but most of all honest. I will definitely use National Garage Door Atlanta in the future.

Following are a few concerns that stand out: 1. Failed to give senior discount (5%) as promised. 2. Failed to give credit for $20.00 deposit 3. Hustled me into approving a quote which was actually a contract 4. Gave me the black hardware and told me it was my job to install??? 5. Would not return when the right door would not close correctly. I was able to realign the trip sensor. 6. Did not clean up behind themselves so I ended up with flat tire. 7. Said I could use a credit card and insisted on a check at installation. 8. Told me he "might" be able to drop by in a few weeks. Nothing so far??? 9. Have warned my entire neighborhood two of which wanted my recommendation. Just a warning. Once they get their payment you are history.. There are better, more honest companies out there.

First let me say we used this company because of Angie's List since we debated between two companies. They came out and replaced everything but new doors which was completed in March. Four months later sound became louder when opening, chain snapped off, taking out all the sensor end wires. My husband called and the first person said we would charged. I called back since it should be at no charge considering only 4 months and was told from a manager that no we would not be charged and to call the office when they arrived at the appt I scheduled. I received a call at 8 am next morning confirming appt that day except my appt was following day. They came the following day and said our garage door was to heavy (wood) and we would need new doors since the opener could not support weight. First of all if they were knowledgable wouldn't this be mentioned at time we were deciding who to use. Note: Graves Garage Doors gave us a quote with new doors for an extra $250 more. But out of good faith we could get doors from this company for $500 with a $200 Discount ! Wow how special I feel. When I mentioned this he sarcastically asked to see their quote. Duh, I went with the wrong company so I trashed the other quote...Why would I keep it four months later. I told him to wait, I went inside and called this manager only to have the tech in my garage answer. When I went out to the garage he said the manager was gone so he had the phone. Of course, this tech called me 3 times and kept changing whe he would arrive at the house..Do NOT use this company because they will scam you for service fees, and upgrades when your garage doors have issues! Trust Dale does not need to endorse National Garage Door. I called another company and had them to repair the problem and was told my door was fine.

As I was about to leave for work, I pushed down on my garage door button from my car when I heard a weird noise, only to see the garage door get stuck in position. I tried to play with it but the motor on the garage door opener was making funny noises and would not close. I called National Garage door and the owner Garrett told me that he could have someone at my home within the hour which was a life saver because I had an important presentation to make at work that morning. The service technician, Brad, arrived at my home within 45 minutes and had all the necessary tools and parts to repair it. The price was also very reasonable considering that it was a last minute emergency service call. It took him about an hour and a half to get everything all fixed and I was heading off to work and made it in time for my presentation. I was so pleased with their level of service that I sent them a thank you care with a $15 Starbucks gift card attached. THANK YOU NATIONAL GARAGE DOOR!!! You guys are amazing and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of garage door repair services.

The two garage door openers came out of the same box, and they tried to charge me extra for the second, as well as another device which I refused to pay for.

I had a support beam come loose from my garage door, making it sag....called the company and they were able to get someone out the same day. The tech wasn't in my garage for more than 30 seconds before he was trying to sell me on a new door. I was not prepared to spend nearly $700 on a new door, I told him so, and he agreed to fix the broken support and lube the rollers. He also tightened down the nuts and bolts on the door. I thought the price for this five minute fix was a bit much ($170), but I did it because I didn't feel like haggling. The work was adequate, but the experience did not leave me eager to do business with them again...

By the end of the day I had still not received anything from him so I called back and got voicemail. I left him a message stating that I had still not received the written quote. 24 hours later he had still not responded. I tried to call again, and left another voice message telling him that I had still not received any confirmation of what we agreed to and that if he did not respond to me by the end of that day we would have to cancel the job. Three days later, still no call back and no e-mail. No legitimate business should work this way. If a contractor is this difficult to contact for setting up a job, I can't imagine what I would have to go through if I had a problem with warranty or service issues.

Sean from Gwinnett Cobb Garage Door Co. came out to troubleshoot my garage door. He determined that one of the "electronic eye" sensors was bad. I had the part so he generously installed the part, lubricated and adjusted the open and close heights, professionally pointed potential future problem areas and completed the repair. He was professional, courteous, efficient and cost-effective. I would hire them again.

We built our home and decided not to go with the standard unit from the builder which would have cost $1000.00. We saw several companies in our area and we called a few instantly we knew Gwinnett Cobb was the right choice. We end up getting top of the line garage door openers for 30% less than the unit the builder was installing. I checked the system on consumer reports and the retail was much higher than what was offered by Gwinnett Cobb Garage. Overall a tremendous experience.

I had estimates from 5 different companies to replace my Garage Doors. GwinnettCobb was right in the middle of the price quotes. They were very diligent in following up with me. When I told them I had found a quote for the same Garage Doors with a competitor for $125 less, they undercut it by $30. The representative called me back later to say he had talked to the "owner" and would undercut it by an additional $50.00. I told him they were the lowest and he again said they would still cut the price by $50. I told him to order the doors. I was given a window from 8:00am-10:00am when the technician would arrive. He arrived right at 10:00 and began to install my new doors. The duct work in my garage hangs very low which prevents us from having a garage door opener. The technician did not have any problems installing the doors with the limited space. He was very Professional. My doors are so easy to open now; I can use one hand as opposed to both hands before and a lot of back strain. The technician was very thorough in cleaning up the job site. I would recommend this company for any of your garage door work. We have used them twice, first time for new garage doors and openers and they were very competitive with their pricing. We called them out again recently for a new home we bought to replace missing openers and re-program 5 doors. While the communication b/t office and technician was not the best, first time he came out he did not have equipment we asked for on 3 separate calls, the next time he came he had exactly what we needed, was able to program everything, including homelink in cars, and was very polite and professional. They were not the cheapest for the service call, but the equipment was less than other company I called, so get all prices and quotes b/f you decide. I would pay a little more for these guys than their competition just because they have always delivered a good product and their technicians seem to know how to get the jobs done quickly and accurately so when they leave you dont have to call them back.

The experience was a positive one. They were the first people I called. The salesperson came, and I was reluctant to agree to the price he gave me. I didn't understand the whole market. He wasn't real pushy. He guaranteed to beat the competitor’s prices. He was confident in his product. He set a date, and the guys came on time and installed everything exactly the way it stood. Everything was excellent. I would use this provider again.

One of our two old garage door cables snapped from age which twisted the support framing and damaged the door. The other door was in poor shape also. So, we contacted several Angie's List Garage Door contractors. They all called back quickly and arranged to come to our house within a day or two to give us an estimate to replace the doors. We also ask them to show us color samples and styles, and those doors that were energy efficient so they would qualify for the 2010 Federal Energy Tax Credit. We also went on-line and examined the technical data of the doors by the various manufacturers. We selected Angel because they quoted a good price, were easy to work with, and I felt the energy-efficient product they used was the best for the money. We selected white doors because they were readily available, which allowed installation to be scheduled for the following week. The installer arrived promptly at the time I requested. We talked about the installation, what I was expecting, and he answered the questions I had. There were no problems in removing the old doors or installing the new doors and associated hardware. He then cleaned the new doors and windows. Per my request, he also added a thicker weather seal on the bottom edge so each door would close tighter with my uneven garage floor. He re-connected and adjusted my existing automatic garage door openers for proper opening and closing. As expected, he cleaned up the area and carted away the old stuff. Total time for old door removal and new installation completed was about 5.5 hours.

Sales/installation technician Ryan was knowledgeable and responsive to questions, and diligently followed up after the initial estimate. Once we decided to go with this company, the order was processed and the installation scheduled in a timely fashion. However, the doors that were delivered were not the correct size and so had to be re-ordered. A week later the correct doors were installed in a timely manner. The only problem with the company was with regard to the incorrect order. The company made no effort to compensate me for the mistake and my time until I prompted them, and then the proposed discount was disappointingly small. Still, the company had the lowest price, so I proceeded with the order. After the doors were installed, I was presented a final price that was significantly higher than what I understood from previous conversations. After spending some time on the phone with an office staff member, Ryan was finally able to sell me the doors at the previously understood price.

I am actually planning on using this company again in the future for any garage needs I have. They were just super. They were friendly and knowledgeable. They charged me a very fair amount of money for the work they did. I found them to be great in terms of diagnostic work and I would absolutely recommend them to others in this area.

It only took a day or two to get an appointment and the company came out right away. The job was finished in just one day.
