Unable to do work.
Description of Work: Although I wanted work done by the provider, he responded through Angie's List that he was unable to do any work at this time. I called and left a message with no response but he did respond through Angies' List. Due to the positive reviews I will probably give him a call again in the future.

Apparently, you wrote this report before you read my response to you on the Angie's list forum! I explained that I am getting 20 to 30 calls a day and can not return them all and that I was booked until mid July and if you were still interested, to contact me on this forum. I am a one man company and am sorry that I could not connect with you. If I answered every call when it comes in, I would not be serving my current customer. There are only so many hours in a day or in a week! This time of the year, every person looking for help wants what they want and needs what they need! Spring is a very busy time for people in my business! I wish you all the best with your projects.

Description of Work: Called twice and never heard back. It only takes five minutes to make a phone call to say you're too busy to take on other projects. If you're work is good (and from the reviews it seems it is), you only hurt yourself in the long run by not returning calls.

Saying "I am sorry" is a seemingly easy thing to do! All the excuses in the world don't really help you with your situation either. The truth is that I am only one guy and if I stopped to answer my phone every time it rang, I would never get any thing done, for my current customer or when I am working for you! I respect my customers too much to be one of "THOSE CONTRACTORS" My voice mail fills up about every 2 days and it is most difficult to keep up with. I wish I could do more, I am truly sorry to those I don't connect with!.

Description of Work: Contacted Mike concerning widening a bathroom door. Mike was very professional on the phone. He said he was very busy and would come by to scope of work the next day. He came by that night explaining he had a free moment. Mike seemed very knowledge and professional during entire visit and I was really looking forward to possibly working with him. He said he had information he needed and would all me with a quote. I am still waiting on that call. I tried to call him a couple times left message to no avail. Very disappointed in lack of professionalism.

Description of Work: I needed 12 chairs bolted so that they would be able to turn left of right. Not only did he fix the chairs, but also a couple of other issues that I was having.

Description of Work: Since mid April, McShane Home Improvement has not submitted an estimate of the work. He came and looked at the project and has not submitted an estimate. He says he has been extremely busy with other estimates.

.I am truly very sorry for not getting back to you. As a one man company, I am able to make sure that the people that I do work for are well pleased with my work and the end product. On the other hand, it is difficult to accomplish every aspect of this profession and the hardest part for me is getting to actually do the estimates. "Angies List" was just beginning to really bring in many new phone contacts. At the time I came to see you, I had appointments for estimates almost every night as well as working the projects I had contracted. I became very backed up. Quite frankly, I was overwhelmed at that time. I do apologize for wasting your time and for soiling my reputation. Also, it was an 80 mile round trip to your home through Atlanta. Since then, I have modified my service area to a tighter circle. Again, I am very sorry for any inconvience and hope you will forgive me.
