D & B QUALITY LAWN SERVICE

I found this company on Angie’s list. I called who that came by to give an estimate. I asked him to include the widow next door in my bill and he was more than fair. Dale always sends a text message to let me know when he’s coming by.

Dale, did the job on the day he said he would, and did a very good job. I wasn't there when he did the work, but it looks like he didn't just haul away the brush - I think he raked the yard where the brush had been because it wasn't just that the brush was gone - There was no trace of it having ever been there. Oh, and he seems like a friendly fellow too.

UPDATE 8/2/2013: D&B (aka Dale Durden) is still doing a top notch job. I've been woth this company for over 3 years and have no complaints Dale's crew usually arrives early, between 7:30 and 8am, and gets started right away. My lot is small, only 1/3 acre, but they are usually finished quickly. Dale accepts cash or checks, and you can leave the payment outside if you're not home when he visits.

What quick service! I emailed Dale at noon; he stopped by 2:30 pm, and he and another man had finished the job befor 4:30 pm. The work looks good and I will definitely use them again.

Dale and his crew have been doing my lawn for several years. They do a good job and are very reliable.

It was good working with them. He came on time and did a really fast job. His crew was excellent.

We have had an excellent experience. Dale was quick to respond when we called for an estimate. He began in May by doing a complete clean up including cutting back shrubs, edging, cutting the lawn, digging up a few shrubs, etc for a fee of $250. He has continued to come weekly or biweekly to maintain our lawn for $55. Additional charges are made as appropriate when he fertilizes, etc. . Dale has proven to be a perfectionist in all that he does and he carefully monitors his employees to see that his high expectations are upheld. Dale has taken the initiate to try a variety of week treatment options to eliminate some tough weeds we have battled. Dale is very polished an professional in his interactions. ..and just a really nice guy. We are glad we were fortunate enough to find him for our lawn maintenance needs.

Dale came by to provide an estimate the same day I called him. He was professional and very helpful, offering suggestions on how to work with my thinning lawn. I asked for estimates for weekly lawn maintenance and for pine straw installation. Dale's estimates for both were very reasonable. I asked him to go ahead with the pine straw job, which he accomplished the very next day. It looked great. Dale said he paid attention to detail and it was apparent in the work his team did. As soon as I release my current lawn service company, I will be hiring Dale and his crew to take over my lawn maintenance.

They performed work for one month only and were paid mid-month as requested. Work was fine but I had not been around to speak to them about any problem issues, ie. grass in pool, etc. I noted positively that they had started trimming the front and requested that we meet after we returned from vacation to discuss his work. The day after he was supposed to cut the lawn he texted me that he was quitting. Evidently, the issue was over "my lack of trust".

II had been using a local student to cut the lawn for the last several years. The student was doing a great job, but he went off to college. So I called Dale, on a referral from Angie's list. I called Dale on a Thursday, and he was unable to make it to my home that day, to provide an estimate. The following day was a "rain day" for his services, but Dale was out providing estimates. We agreed to a price, and Dale and his crew were out that next Monday ! Dale has excellent communications and uses technology wisely. Dale will send an SMS message the night before to remind me of his service the next day, and I leave a check for him. Everyone is happy. The results are equally impressive .. Dale has a (3) man team who "collapse" on your yard. In the words of "Larry the Cable Guy" .. Dale and his crew "Get er Done!" They have professional equipment, and deliver a professional result.

My yard has never looked so nice. I would highly recommend this company. They did a very neat job. Dale called after the work was done to make sure I was completely satisfied. Who does that anymore? I really appreciated that. He did that after the initial clean up and again after the 1st time the lawn maintenance people had been there. I paid $370 for the yard clean up & have about an acre corner lot. I'm going to use D&B for my ongoing lawn maintenace also and that will cost $225 a month. They've been 3 times already and each time they've done a very nice job. What a treat to come home & have the yard looking so manicured! Please consider this company if you're looking for landscaping or yard maintenance. You won't be disappointed.

I have not had regular service for a few years now and things had just gotten out of hand. I called Dale to get a quote on a one time clean up and an additional quote for regular service. He came by within a couple of days and took a look at the mess, gave me quote and made arrangements to do the job a couple of days later. He showed up promptly and he and his crew did a fine job of cleaning up. He then gave me a quote for routine service which I found very reasonable and agreed to. They have been out once on a regular visit and did the job quickly and efficiently. I find D&B Lawn Service a very professional operation and would recommend them to anyone, even my mother.

I needed someone to take care of my shrubs. I gave D&D a call and he was able to come over the same day. When he arrived, i showed him what i needed done and he gave me an estimate. I thought the estimate was a fair one for the work i needed done so i went ahead and had them do the work. They did a great job and i am very pleased with their work. I will definitely use them again and will recommend them to others.

All work was done quickly and professionally. I received a call back quickly and a visit to my home the next day to survey everything Price was very reasonable for what I needed done. I through in some extra because of the good job and how fast they came and took care of everything. They are now the company I will do all my landscaping with, they come buy for lawn care now and anything else I need

The pinestraw in my yard had turned gray and I was probably within a week of getting cited by my homeowner's association. The guy I usually call to provide handyman services was unavailable and I had to find someone who could respond quickly and get my yard in shape. I found Dale on Angie's List and gave him a call. I explained that I was looking for a quote to lay pinestraw in my yard. He came by the following day and provided me with a written estimate. I asked about his availability and he said he could probably get to it by the end of the week. I called him back later that day and let him know that I'd like him to do the work, and he told me he'd give me a call the day before they'd come out to do the work. He called me the day after he provided the estimate and told me they'd be out the next day. He and his crew came to the house as promised and were done within a couple of hours. I was very impressed with his quick response time and turnaround time. Start to finish, from estimate to pinestraw installed, took only two days. Dale is very professional and courteous, and very good at his job. My yard looks great! I will definitely recommend him to my friends and neighbors.

He showed up on time and spoke to my wife and I about what needed to be done. Dale did this when he gave us our quote. He started work quickly, cutting the grass, trimming flower beds, removing the wood from flower beds( my wife wanted them removed),trimmed the shrubs, cut down two holly bushes, trimmed/edged the yard and driveway, removed all waste, used a leaf blower to clean up. We had a storm pop up, lightning and hard rain with gusting winds, he did not leave, he took cover, it didn't last very long. The job Dale did was fantastic, it looked great. He will be back to maintain our lawn for the summer.

I called Dale on Thursday and he returned my call Friday morning. He came by the next Tuesday for a survey and to give an estimate. He did great trying to fit me into his schedule and arrived Thursday morning. I'd had some trees taken down and stumps ground so I needed the debris removed and the area smoothed out. Dale did a great job and left everything very tidy. He stayed in contact with me and let me know when he would (& would not) be arriving. Professional and thorough. His pricing was very fair. I would highly recommend Dale to others needing lawn care. He will be doing my lawn on a regular basis.

Dale of D&B came to my house the same day I asked for an estimate. He gave me a very reasonable price and quoted some extra work that I needed to have done. He performed all services as promised. He is very polite, and I feel comfortable with him caring for my lawn even though I'm not usually around when he comes. He always sends reminders of when he will be there. Would definitely recommend this company to someone else looking for routine lawn care.

Dale came out the very day I called, at the last minute. He was able to complete the job over a 2 day period. His worker was no nonsense and a very hard worker.

Prior to coming today to do the work, Dale had stopped by the house yesterday to see what needed to be done and called later with an estimate. He called this morning and arrived even earlier than he had originally thought. I was very happy about that. From the moment he arrived, he and his helper got down to business and cleaned up the yard. I am more than pleased with the work. I would highly recommend D & B. Dale is very professional and worked very hard. I will be calling on him again.

From the first phone call to the Dale waving goodbye the whole process was said to be perfect!!

He is here three or four time a month. He does a great job. He is incredibly honest. He is very upfront. He is a hardworking guy. He does what he says he'll do.

D & B provided friendly reliable service. They are highly responsive. They returned calls and responded to emails quickly. They worked with me to accommodate what worked best for my lawn, budget, and schedule. There prices are competitive.
