They came out same day. They did a great job and helped go over everything in detail with me. I had another tech come out 2 weeks prior and say there was nothing wrong. They were able to diagnosis the situation promptly and fix the problem.

The HVAC system has been working fine since it was repaired with the replacement part.

I had the last appointment of the day and they were a bit outside of the appt. window. They did call me and let me know that they were running late. This was not unexpected being the last appt. of the day. There is a high probability that they would fall behind due to an unexpectedly long call earlier in the day. The solution to the problem was a relatively cheap and easy fix. I have used Cool Masters a few times now and would use again.

The technician replaced a contact switch. While trying to repair the low voltage wires, he cut through the freon lines. All of the sudden he claimed that the old AC unit was not repairable and when I pressed him, he claimed that the copper freon lines had become very brittle and had just "shattered." He gave me an estimate, which included a full heat pump which he said was required by local codes. I don't believe him. I called his supervisor, who claimed that they would require that the technician repair the damage to the freon lines for free, but I wasn't ever able to get the technician to come out before I sold my home. I let the buyer, who was willing to deal with the problem, deal with it.

If you're reading this, stop and make the appointment. These are the only HVAC people I'm ever letting in my house again. Professional, extremely knowledgeable (not sure there is even a rookie on their team), and most importantly, you can tell they actually care about their customers. You may find someone cheaper and you may find someone more expensive but you will not find anyone better.

I don't think they charged us this time because it was the same unit. I don't know what the problem was but it was still under warranty.

They came and they recommended some repairs that we decided to hold off on because we didn't feel they were necessary at the time because we also needed to replace the unit, and then that unit ended up being faulty. It was like the units all over the country were faulty and there was something in the manufacture and so they ended up replacing it at least one more time. So we got two new units or three new units at that time, and then the original problem, we ended up having to do that as well. And then the next year it all happened again so we got another new unit from them. They did multiple visits. They were there like every other week and then eventually twice a week until it was fixed. Literally my due date was July 5th and I kept telling them I can't have a baby when it's 90 degrees and I don't have air conditioning. There was actually one other pregnant woman that they were servicing and having to replace for the same reason. It was pretty miserable. The baby ended up waiting until the air conditioner was fixed. There's a variance I guess in the skill level of the people that they sent out. I'm just glad it got resolved. They did keep coming back and they were dedicated, and they kept trying, looking for the solution, trying new things, until they figured it out. But there's this one person there in particular that seems to always get it right. We have to go through a few people to find that one person.

Called Jonathan at 6:30 at night and he told me how much it would cost, but he wanted me to tell him how it was wired. After I told him, he quickly determined that the wiring was correct but I had one of the settings wrong. He then walked me through the settings step by step and it started to work immediately. He refused to bill me for the 20 min he spent on the phone, even though I begged him to charge me something. He obviously enjoys what he does and didn't have to help me over the phone. He could've easily gotten a quick 100-200 out of me, which would still be worth it. Wish I could rate higher.

I had Cool Masters replace my tired 20 year old AC units with a state of the art, super hi efficiency, multi zoned system. The company president, Jonathan Perez, is an affable & knowledgeable man who obviously enjoys his work. He's not afraid to get dirty either! The installation crew was very professional & punctual doing what ever they could to minimize the mess & inconvenience of removing the two old systems & installing the new. Going with a zoned system involved installing an impressive amount of ducting and took 3 days to complete, but I'm very happy that I made the decision to take that option rather than just replacing what I had previously. It totally solved the problem we had cooling the room over garage and the energy savings are already very noticeable! I think I got a 1st rate system installed by a 1st rate company and would recommend Cool Masters without hesitation.

These guys are great! Friendly and professional. I had three reputable HVAC companies come out and none of them could figure out why my outdoor unit was short-cycling. I was on the verge of buying a new unit but decided to get one more opinion. Fortunately, I found Cool Masters! Jonathon (the owner) came out and fixed my unit when nobody else could. He was focused on fixing my existing unit, rather than pressuring me to buy a new system. They've earned a new customer here!

The woman on the phone, whose name I unfortuantely do not recall, was very polite and got us scheduled immediately. The tech, Jonathan, was extremely knowledgeable, polite and efficient. He ended up finding a very tiny kink in a wire's casing, which exposed the wire itself, which when it touched a screw as a result of me changing the air filter, caused a short. I can't imagine what a less experienced tech would have found. I imagine "you need to replace the unit" would have entered into the prognosis. Overall I was very happy and would highly recommend them again

If I could give more than an A for Jonathon and Cool Masters, I would. I can't remember a time when I've seen a company or individual go above and beyond as much as they did. Knowing that our furnace was out, they squeezed us into their schedule, battling Atlanta 6PM rush-hour traffic to come out and give us a quote. When Jonathon got here, he was professional and even took the time to engage our energetic son asking him his name and age and letting him watch him work.. Little things like that mean a lot us. Then instead of giving us a quote and moving on to the next job, he asked what happened and then asked to look at the furnace. He found the issue and repaired/reconfigured it! Afterwards, we talked about the age of the furnace and some solutions to consider in the next five years. We currently have another provider for HVAC but our family was so impressed with the honesty, professionalism, knowledge, and character of Jonathon and Cool Masters that we are going to switch. The service tech called up in advance to tell me when he was coming and arrived on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and Had the unit working. He also adjusted some other issues I did not even ask about. Nice to find a company that does quality work for a fair price. Will now use them for all my HVAC work on all my properties.

Went great. Work done was professional and complete. The technician put shoe covers on when walking in our house. He had the tools and equipment necessary to quickly repair our heat. He even gave us a free air filter which was an unusual size not available at Home Depot.

They could not work on it. They advised me to change it but I did not have the kind of money to change it. My heating is fine, the air conditioning unit is too old. I am going to replace it next year before summer. They recognized the problem and it makes sense what they told me. I thought they were going to fix it but they analyzed the problem. It took like four to five days for them to come out. I think the price is reasonable. They were on time and they are professionals.
