Our upstairs AC unit died on the first really warm day of the year. I selected multiple complanies to contact from Angie's List seeking an affordable rate from an organization who could respond quickly. I feel very fortunate to have discovered Cool Masters. They were very professional from start to finish. Jonathon came out on the same day, quickly analyzed the problem and was able to resolve the issue (inorperable capacitor). Jonathon also checked out the other 2 units on my property and determined that one of these required half a pound of refrigerant. Based on calls I made to other AC maintenance companies, Cool Masters charged about $20 less per pound of R22 than the other organizations; I only needed 1/2 pound (normally they only sell it by the pound) and was only charged for the 1/2 lb. I also had Jonathon provide a quote for spray on insulation in my attic and guest room addition. Jonathon was very knowledgable and took the necessary time to educate me on the process. While I'm fairly certain that Cool Masters won't come in as the low bid (I have 7 other companies coming out to provide bids), I feel confident that Cool Masters would do an excellent job applying the sealent, based on the experience I had with my air condition repair. Great work Cool Masters - thanks for making my home bearable again Jonathon.

Jonathan diagnosed why my old house was too cold in the winter and incredibly hot in the summer. Cool Masters' quote was less than others I received and was detailed, honest, and well thought out. His team arrived promptly on their scheduled day and installed my new system neatly and quickly. My new system works perfectly, it feels like a new home. I can recommend Cool Masters enthusiastically and without hesitation.

Great experience. Althought the window was 3 hours, the company called 45 minutes ahead of time to say Nigel was on his way. I was happy to have the courtesy call! He was nice and professional. He answered all my questions and made a future recommendation.

The pricing was fair and it was comparable. I will use them again without a question.

.work was completed in time expected .men were polite and cleaned up after very well. they also returned a month later for an unrelated issue of a clogged drainpan line and they got it working without billing me on the same afternoon i called for help. i will use them again

The workers came on time and finished the work as they had stated. All of the workers were professional and skilled in their profession. They worked well with the outside electrician that I had hired. I am glad that I contacted Angie's List for both Cool Masters HVAC and Lighting Bug Electric Company. Both companies did an excellent job.

They don’t try to sell me the highest priced piece of equipment; they sell me something that works. The group that I had before them always wanted to replace my things with the most expensive thing on the market. I use Cool Masters for routine maintenance as well as adding things on, and they have steered me toward the best option. When my humidifier went bad, they put one in that works extremely well. The guy that runs the company is very helpful, but I have to call him a couple of times for him to follow up. The others that work there are professional, they do a really good job, they come on time, and they do all the right things.

I didn’t have a great experience with them. Their technician really focused on a lot of stuff at our house that wasn’t the AC unit and I don’t feel like he did a lot to the unit. He basically told me that it needed to be replaced, which is true, but I was charged $80 for the service call. He was here for an hour which is way too long for what he did. He needs to improve on his professionalism and he needs to stick to the task at hand.

As a single female, it was my fear that I would be grossly taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge regarding HAVC. My downstairs unit was not running, and I was afraid that I would be informed that I needed a new unit (no matter what the problem actually would be), which would be way out of my budget at this time. After reading about several different companies on Angie's list, I chose Cool Masters mainly because of their close proximity to my home, as well as good reviews from others. What a relief to find that the reason my unit was not running was because, when my dad recently replaced the filters, he inadvertantly hit the power switch turning the unit off and not allowing it to get power. What a HUGE relief!!!!!!! Thanks so much to the honesty and integrity of Travis with Cool Masters. I have found a good, reliable, and reasonable company for all my HVAC needs!! Thanks!!!!!!!!! I just can't tell you how much I appreciate Cool Masters!!!!!

It was not easy to find the part, as it was discontinued. Jonathan found the only place that had it, and the replacement was not simple either for that system. Although it took some time to receive the part, Jonathan replaced smoothly, and got my air conditioner working as powerful as before. I have been a handyman myself, so I was interested in learning my systems and asked Jonathan many questions. I found Jonathan very knowledgeable and patient. Overall he is very professional. With other a/c problems I had since that time, I always call Jonathan first, including the coil replacement job in 2008. I have no hesitation to recommend Jonathan to anyone, no matter the job is big or small.

Johnathan explained everything to us in detail. He even came out late one night to give us the quote. After talking with him we went with Coolmasters.

They were great. Their quickness to come out and their professionalism were what stood out to me about their service. We haven't had any problems with the A/C since then. We would definitely use them again in the future.

The service was great......they came out quickly.....and they did great job. the system working great but also looks good too. They also went the extra mile to get our business ...by bringing out a personal ac for the master bedroom while we made a decision on whether or not we would go with them.

I can't say enough about how honest and knowledgeable Jon and Alex are. I never once felt they were being condescending or deceptive (and believe me after my HSA experience I know what THAT is like). I'm an electrical engineer, but don't tell folks that. I'm also a woman, I can quickly tell when a service person is not being forthright. I have NO doubt that these guys will be my HVAC folks for a long time! Great job!

They were real good for us. We had a problem where all three of our old units went out within two weeks of each other. They were responsive and prompt. I am pleased with how clean and professional they were and they did an amazing job without damaging anything. They also got rid of all of the old units and disposed of them. We have not had any problems with the new units; they have been working good.

I was impressed with this company because they charged us no extra money even though they dropped everything to get out to us on a weekend. I found that to be pretty accommodating and impressive. Now I know who to call for my air condemnation needs so I have every intention of using them again in the future.
