Chuck's Moving & Delivery Service

From the beginning Chuck and his team were professional and courteous. Chuck came to my home to estimate the job and on move day they arrived with adequate people and trucks to complete the job. Once I knew the best way to communicate with Chuck, via cell phone, he was very responsive to my class and questions. My issues with the move was that they appeared rushed once the furniture was delivered to the new house and they were unpacking and setting up beds, etc. And I had asked Chuck to arrange people to come help with packing, which he did, but what did not happen was the packers were not scheduled for a pre-visit to estimate this part of the job so that we would know what type and how much packing materials the packers would need. It was fortunate that my husband has access to boxes, tape, and bubble wrap with his business. Otherwise, this would have been a big problem. Having said this, I would still recommend Chuck’s company to friends and family and use him again if the need arose.

Chuck and his team were responsive, professional, and extremely thorough. Our move wound up being tougher than anyone anticipated, and Chuck and his team stuck with us I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Everything was great. They wrapped most of the items. They prorated my time over my initial 2 hour request.

Chucks crew did a great job. They were right on time and didn't break, or scratch a thing. We're going to use them for when we move from the apt. to our new home 60 miles away.

Chuck's guys worked very hard and it was a difficult move due to the amount of stuff that was to be moved. The only problem is that they had difficulty getting some furniture to fit up the stairs which resulted in a lot of smudges and other marks on the wall and ceiling. I would give them an A if it wasn't for all the marks on the wall. The men worked very hard and overall it was a good experience.

Chuck's Moving Service was very prompt and helpful during the move. They took great care with the furniture and very professional in their approach. the crew was right on time with our prearranged time. They worked very efficiently. All they furniture arrived intact. Prices were very competitive. We would definitely use them again for any moves, large or small. They are the best!

I found Chuck here through Angie's List and I was 100% pleased with the service. Chuck came out to my home to look at everything that needed to be moved then provided an estimate. When the day arrived his team showed up on time and ready to work. They took the time to ensure all my big items were wrapped in plastic and/our covered before placing it on the truck. When we arrived at our new location they were just as quick unloading as they were packing it all. On top of that no signs of damage to any of the furniture and no missing items. This was the first time I have ever hired movers so I was a little thrown back by the cost, but his quote was on pair with the others I received. The big selling point for me was that Chuck himself actually came out to give the quote. All other estimates I received were from companies that had me fill out a form with all my items that needed to be moved. Would absolutely rehire for a future move if needed.

The four men that showed up were extremely punctual, professional, courteous and honest. They worked very hard and took great care of my stuff. I would definitely use them again!

My parents enlisted me to help find them a professional moving company. I called a few companies and then decided to call Chuck's Moving and Delivery based on the reviews and awards won on Angie's List. I spoke with Charles (the owner I believe) and he gave me the run down on how he does pricing and his services but said he ultimately likes to do a walk through of the home to give a more accurate quote. I liked the idea of that! His hourly prices were below the other companies I had called and Charles was always very professional, thorough, and friendly every time I spoke with him. My parents ended up not using a moving company after all and I was very disappointed because I believe Charles and his crew would have been the best choice. I will absolutely use Chuck's Moving and Delivery for any of my future moving needs because of the positive interactions with Charles.

I reached out for a quote on their website but never got a response. I reached out to them and left a voicemail and never got a response. We are getting quotes from other movers based on Angie's List ratings.

It went great! The initial two men could not figure out if they could get this extremely large desk up my stairs plus make a turn. They called Chuck who personally came out, they worked out how to get it in the house, and everything moved really quickly then. Because of the complications involved, I knew I would pay more than originally estimated, but it was very reasonable and worth the expense. The desk is built like an upright piano, but larger. The original estimate was $260 and I ended up paying $300. I was very pleased with Chuck and his crew. Thanks Chuck, my animation student is going to love being able to work on the desk!!

5 men showed up and worked very hard to get everything loaded onto trucks. As they came into the house all the men introduced themselves and shook my hand. A real plus in my opinion and professional. I will use them again when I move into my new home.My furniture and other items was taken 2 miles from my house to a storage facility.

Unfortunately, I got a call on the scheduled move date from Chuck's Moving to say they were booked up for the whole weekend.

Everything went smooth. I had 4 guys and 2 trucks. They moved all the furniture from my 4000+ square foot house to my new house which is on a large hill in one day.

This is the 2nd time I have used Chucks guys for a move and again they did a great job. They took very good care of my furniture and were quick and efficient. I would highly recommend them for any move.

I hired Chuck to pack my house and move it to a new home. Moving day was a Saturday, so on Friday, four ladies came over and packed a VERY full 3 bedroom/2 bath house in 3.5 hours (disclaimer: the home remained partially packed from a previous move two months earlier, but still). Total cost for packing was just under $400. Great price, but the service was even better. Unfailingly polite and professional, the women moved fast and took care with all my stuff. They arrived on time, clearly showed me the clock, and made paying a breeze. On moving day, four men and two large trucks arrived (again, on time) in the morning. Without wasting any time, they moved everything in the house, PLUS a 5x10x10 storage unit located 4 miles away, in almost exactly 8 hours. All for only $1291. That's a great price, but as with the packing, the price wasn't even close to the best part. The movers took excellent care of all my belongings, moving each with care. They were a real pleasure to be around and made a stressful day much easier. If I move again, I will, without a moment's hesitation, call Chuck again. Best packers and movers I've ever dealt with.

It turned out fine. They moved the crib from one room to another and they stripped the bolt in it. Pricing was fine.

The crew arrived on time, actually a few minutes early. They clearly showed me the clock they were using to measure the time so we were on the same page. They packed up all the goods, almost without issue. One lamp cover fell and broke but the crew cleaned it up, showed me the broken item and I was later offered a replacement. At the new house everything arrived in good condition and the crew moved our belongings into the house quickly and without damage. At the end we tallied up the total time and extra cost and paid over the phone with Chuck. The crew was professional and quick.

They were on time. Asked what i needed done and proceeded to get it done. Before they started their work, thye went over some rules and what i expected them to do and the price. The price was a little bit higher than what i expected, but i was okay.

I called Wednesday evening and spoke with the owner. I explained that my family was given limited access to my deceased aunt's home and needed some furniture picked-up and moved January 23, 2016 between 9:30am and 10:00am. The owner, Chuck, stated he could have a two person crew and truck. Lo and behold, Georgia shuts down early Friday in anticipation of snowmaggedon. The business owner and I spoke a few times about the weather and the potential impact on the move. Chuck stated he was watching the weather reports and would determine by 9am Saturday if it would be safe to move the furniture. Chuck called 9am Saturday and stated based on current and future weather condition, they would arrive by 1pm. Chuck arrived exactly on time at the first location. Chuck and his assistant were very professional. They dissembled and wrapped each piece of furniture as if they were priceless antiques (furniture was at least 45 years old). They arrived shortly thereafter at the second location to deliver and setup the furniture. Again, they were incredibly professional. I highly recommend Chuck's Moving & Delivery Service to any individual or business wanting quality and professional service.
