Owner reviewed existing plants and proposed changes. On day one, the crew removed existing plants and transplanted to other beds around my house. In addition they prepared two new beds. On day two, they planted new plants into beds where existing plants were removed. After all planting was completed, they spread pine straw over all beds. They also took the time to check and adjust my irrigation system to ensure the best coverage. They repaired a broken irrigation line free of cost. In addition the owner reviewed proper watering and fertilization to ensure both new plants as well as transplanted plants would survive. To date, all plants are doing very well. They did an excellent job of cleaning up around my house after all work was completed.
Description of Work: Removed existing plants from two planting beds in the front of the house and transplanted them in other planting beds around my home. Installed new plants where existing plants were removed.

I have used Chelsea Gardens Landscape Co. since moving into our home in August 2006 for monthly landscape maintenance as well as additional plantings. I use thier service year round. I have always had excellent service and whenever I needed anything, I just called the office and it was taken care immediately and with professionalism. Also I am a real estate agent and I know that they maintain serveral communities in which I have sold homes and they have come highly recommended to me and I have been exceptionally pleased.

My front lawn was damaged on the first visit when a worker tried to use a riding mower to cut my lawn. My property is sloped & uneven. I immediately reported it and the service manager was very apologetic. Then I noticed the workers were not maintaining certain areas that was previously pointed out. I called the service manager when the areas were still omitted and asked if I could meet with him and the crew to confirm the property line and discuss my expectations on leaf and debris removal. My husband had witnessed the crew blowing leaves in a drainage revene on my propery and toward my neigbor's property instead of removing them. I met with the service manager...he preferred to relay the information to the crew himself. Once again, he was very apologetic and assured me the problem would be rectified. My 12 hour work shifts prevented me from canvassing the property immediately after a service day but I began to do so on the weekends. First I found two of my statues that I've had for ten years broken and and the same areas of concern were being omitted. I was fortunate to be home on a service day and attempted to discuss my concerns to the foreman. To my surprise, he was very rude. He initally refused to walk with me to confirm the property line and denied that the crew were continously blowing leaves in the revene. I very calmly reminded him of our need to have a good working relationship and hoped he would admit the mistakes, but most importantly agree to correct the ones that he could, i.e.,remove the leaves from the revene and other areas of the property. His only response, "I didn't blow any leaves over there". I called the service manager again. He was very apologetic & promised to speak with the foreman about his attitude & he was not to return.(but he did) Two weeks passed and the leaves were still not removed. Then I noticed the tops to my landscape lights were missing on all three sets. I found some of them and replaced them....I could not find the others until last week, some of them were broken underneath some leaves & I see two of them that were blown in the revene with the leaves. Five more of my statutes were broken, even though I moved some that I thought were in danger and placed them against a large tree. One of a 4-chair miniature set is missing. I found it once and put it back, secured it I thought, but now it's gone. There are several bare areas in my front lawn from the turf weed control chemical that was used in late 2009 & again in March 2010. Last week I noticed the 3 -1/2 ft of english ivy that was draped on my 50 ft cement wall that I groomed for 10 yrs was completely removed! I could not speak about it for 3 days! I repeatedly asked to meet with the service manager and last week I asked for the owner. The manager and the owner have chosen to end the contract effective May 19th without even a promise to correct or come and see my concerns because of the 400 satisfied customers they have.
Description of Work: I entered into a Landscape Maintenance Contract in Sept 2009. The services include mowing and trimming, weed control (including hand removal of weeds if necessary), edging, turf fertilization and removal of grass clippings, leaves, trash and any other landscape debris. Services were preformed weekly in the growing season, biweekly during the other months.

Response from Chelsea Gardens Landscape Management Inc
Let me start by saying we wish this customer the best and have no ill feelings towards her. Anyone that knows Chelsea Gardens Landscape Management Inc knows we do not own a riding lawn mower and never have in the 11 years we have been in buisness. There are also some more inconsistances in this story and a major detail left out that caused us to terminate this contract. Again we would like to wish her the best. Thanks-Josh (General Manager)
