They are great. Two people came out to do the service. They have excellent service at an excellent price. I would absolutely use them again.

They are a little high, but they get the job done. The issue I had encountered was that the air conditioner was not running properly. They actually gave me a tip on the phone to go out and check. They help me that way. They did not even have to come out. They just talked to me on the phone. For a phone call, they did not charge me anything, but for regular service call, the price all depends on what you have to have done. Usually, it is about $30 or $35 for a service call and then whatever parts and labor they got. I would recommend them.

They do furnaces, A/C units, heat pumps and so on. I would use them in the future.

The house we live in was built in 1952 and has a crawl space. One furance came with the house the other furnace was replaced about 20 years ago. On February 2013 we called Knight H/A. Joel Aderhold came out and accessed the problem. He sent us an estimate of the cost and a layout of were the vents would be installed and the material they used. At first we thought the furnace could be put on the outside of the house. Joel was here when the furance was delivered and we both agreed that was not a good idea due to the lay of the land where the furance would be placed. So we decided to put the furance under the house. Joel had another crew deliever another furance while the first crew started on the duct work. They kept the newer floor furance in operation so we were not with out heat until the new furance was operational. They also installed a service light under the house and an Aprilaire air cleaner. The crew was polite, efficient, answered questions and even hauled off the old floor furaces. After the work was completed Joel inspected the work. We were so pleased with this companies work after the first year we took out a residential maintenance agreement with them.

Everything went extremely well. They were there when they were supposed to be, were very professional and efficient, and cleaned up afterwards. Price for both units were extremely competitive. I would definitely use them again.

Our HVAC heat pump system broke down during the second Atlanta 2014 snowstorm. It never worked very well and on cold days we could not get our house above 58-60 degrees. It was time for replacement. Knight Heating and Air did not let us down. They had replaced a system in a home that we sold in 2011, and so we called them again for their wonderful and dependable service. They advised us well when they said that our old, drafty 1923 home was not a good match for a heat pump system. Instead, we installed a highly efficient gas heat and electric air system. A family business, I felt completely comfortable having them work in my home when I was not there. It took about 4 days to remove the old system, install the new system, and rework some of the duct work to improve the efficiency. We have noticed a considerable drop in our utility bills since the installation of the system. They came out promptly for a check-up in June, prior to the summer heat. I would highly recommend this company.

I was very satisfied with their services. I had to call them back out because I started having issues again with my unit. They immediately came back out and reordered the faulty part and within a couple days was back out at my house to reinstall it. I would highly recommend them to others. They were very prompt, curtious, professional, took great care to be careful of my hardwood floors and very clean. I truly appreciated their respectulness of my home.

Tech was great. Answered questions and gave ideas on how to better insulate that side of the house.

.I have had a service contract with Knight for almost 15 years. They have good prices and do great work. They have experienced servicemen. I was always able to talk to the servicemen about any issues I thought I might be having. They have never told me I needed some thing I didn't or push to sell me new units. The units the builder installed when we bought the house new were barely adequate and very inefficient. Knight has kept them going for almost 15 years. Last May my upstairs AC unit finally gave out. Knight gave me a good price. The install was quick, quiet and very professional.

Knight has been a first class company to work with. I have had Paul inspect my units for four years and he does an outstanding job. His first time at my house he told me he isn't the fastest but he is very thorough and he was spot on. After that first visit I have requested him every time.

The sales rep was professional and prompt. We decided to not have the work done at that time, but will definitely call them again for another estimate when we decide the time is right to do the work.

Nice young man arrived on time and did the normal service as spelled out by service contract. Mentioned another thing that might need to be done in near future but no pressure to do now. No scare tactic or high pressure to sell. Good company, locally owned and operated with good employees.

My air conditioner began to leak freon late last summer and I had it serviced by another provider. This summer, it finally leaked so badly that it needed to be replaced. Got quotes from 4 different providers and although Knight was not the least expensive, they were not the most expensive either. The big difference for me was the quality of the service that I received from Knight and Tim Loudermilk. Tim (one of the owners) came to my house, assessed the situation and sat down with me to discuss options that would work for the size of my house, air and heat demands, and my budget. He was extremely thourough, drawing for me everything that he was explaining so that I understood all of my options for the repair of the air which was a must, the options for the furnace replacement and an option to install automated dampers to better and more efficiently cool my house. At no point, did I feel pressured to do anything that I a) didn't understand and b) couldn't afford. Tim wasn't able to get to me as quickly as he would have liked (it is the middle of summer and they are very busy) and offered to recharge my unit at no cost to me to get me through until they were able to get me scheduled (which was still within a week). The tech was out the next day to charge the unit. The techs for the replacement arrived on time, were courteous and professional, and completed their work efficiently. They did accidently insulate over my damper handle, but quickly corrected the issue once I pointed it out to them as we were reviewing their work prior to leaving. Tim came back out to my house and reviewed the technician's work, and all of the paperwork and payment arrangements a few weeks later. The damper was not working properly and Tim had technicians immediately back out that day to correct it. In the end, considering the free recharge of my old unit, the cost of this install was right on with the other major vendor quotes that I got and the service level is unparalleled. It is abundantly clear with this company that quality service is at the heart of their work. and to me that is worth a few extra dollars any day. I highly recommend them to anyone that has any air or heating needs.

The gas company came, we had that hard winter freeze, the gas company came out and they cut one of the furnaces off. I had four furnaces. They cut one off because the controls were falling through the floor. I had to operate on one and the decision was to replace the four furnaces and I had three people come out. And I like the way Knight prepared their diagrams, how they explained what was going on. The materials that they were going to use and basically walked us through it. And he gave us options and explained very clearly what the options were. There was no high pressure to go with one option or the other. We felt very comfortable working with him and his team. They kept us informed all through the process. I would highly recommend them. They worked really fast. It took them several days because we had bad weather too. It took them about five days and we were never without heat. They never left us without heat. They left one running until they were actually able to turn the furnace on. They knew that we had to have heat.

Sales person was prompt and gave good advice on what I needed. They installed a new Train air conditioner and furnace plus and the dehumidifier in three days. I was very satisfied with the whole process. They replaced what needed replacing. The filter system I had was still working well and didn't need to be replaced.

Techs were on time. Was slightly more expensive than another bid, but we had problems with the other company in the past. Techs seemed a little clueless. They messed up somehow during the install and had to get another part. Took longer than expected.

On schedule, repair took 6 hrs. Priced as quoted.

They're good at it and they're very nice. They came up when they said, I called them and they were there when they said they will be there. I like their punctuality, they have a very good price and they didn't charge me much.

Everything went great. I called and they were friendly and professional. They were able to fix us in on the next business day. They unclogged the pipe. They even suggested a new drip pan. They gave us an estimate for one with no pressure to buy it.

I tried for years to find an HVAC contractor that seemed knowledgeable and that I could trust. My previous HVAC units were builder's grade units from when my home was built in 1999 and the upstairs unit had had a slow Freon leak for the last few years. This old R-22 coolant is no longer being produced and the cost per pound has gone up considerably through the years. I previously had other contractors immediately try to sell me a new unit, try to talk me into a dual-fuel heat pump system that nobody I've talked to is happy with, etc. I first discovered Knight through Angie's List in April 2011. They helped to nurse the system through the last year and a half until the leak got too fast to make it worth the money to keep recharging. I worked with Tim Loudermilk who is one of the co-owners as my salesperson. He talked me through the various options and helped me make the decision that would work best for my home and budget. He was able to get installation scheduled within 2 days of my old unit's failure. They began with a 2 man installation crew but added a 3rd man for the afternoon to get the job completed within one day. My install was more complicated than normal because I had an existing Abatement Technologies CAP600-UV HEPA filter that was improperly installed. They disconnected a fresh air intake for that filter and rerouted the supply and return for the filter so that it no longer makes a loud wind noise like it did before. The installation normally included a new programmable thermostat, but since I already had one, they offered a $100 discount. Instead, I had them add a new supply vent into one of my rooms that is always hotter than the other rooms during the summer. They did this in place of the $100 thermostat although adding a new supply is normally something they charge $150 for. Tim and the installation guys were all a pleasure to work with. Tim seems to be a very nice, honest, knowledgeble guy that wants to make his customers happy and tries to do things the way he'd want them in his own house. I would highly recommend this company!
