DO NOT, under any circumstances, hire this company. Their repair guy was supposed to be here at 11:00am to inspect/repair a roof leak and did not show up until 4:30pm. He supposedly repaired the roof but it's now three weeks later and the SAME AREA is leaking again. TERRIBLE customer service and TERRIBLE quality.

Did you read my review? It was HORRIBLE!
Description of Work: I contact Biltmore Roofing for repair of water damage in my home which consists of scraping, ceiling, painting, and mold treatment in February. At that time I relinquish the insurance check that was given to me (that was a horrible mistake). I had to call several times over the course of two months in order for them to come out and start the job. There were several no call no shows. And a few times they would just show up unannounced. I work odd hours so most times I wasn't available. But they eventually had some young ladies come and pack up items in rooms that were not supposed to be addressed but it still took another 10 weeks and for me to go to the office and speak with the owners and two employees for them to come out to preform the job mind you this was after several more calls. Once the workers finally came they spent lots of time not working. In the meantime I spent many many hours of my day speaking to Susann the receptionist who couldn't answer simple questions( like when is the crew coming back out?). When we "finally" did our final walk through I noticed there were several things that were left undone. The corner in my kitchen was not scrapped and when they came back to address the corner and do much needed touch up work the paint did not match. There was a hallway that was supposed to be scraped and painted and if you know anything about the insurance company anything that flows in an area will be covered. Painting, masking, ceiling & scraping, etc. Although that stuff was covered my hallway is still not done. They painted a bathroom that was not supposed to be painted at all. So here we go again! I made several more gone calls. And this is where I lose faith in this company all together. I finally contact the business owner Lisa and Kirk to come out and see what needed to be done. And when I tell you I was insulted in my house for not being abreast of the step by step process and not making sure the company that I hired to perform a job actually did their job and not being aware of exactly what was going on on a day-to-day basis while the workers were in my house. I work up to 60 hours a week and the last thing I want to do at the end of my 10+ hour day not including commute is to make sure someone that has been employed to work has actually preformed their job. I was told by Kirk (one of the owners of Biltmore Roofing) "the paperwork that the insurance company drafts is for the simpleminded". Well if that's the case and they have been in business for 18 years they should know exactly what needs to be done. As of today 8/5/16 my hallway has not been taken care of nor has the bathroom that was painted.

Biltmore Roofing was hired by my tenant after a warranty company sent them to my property for roof repair which was a result of storm damage. They were hired to perform mold remediation and additional repairs. Although they did perform some repairs and mold remediation, they threw out a number of items that could have and should have been cleaned (for example, linens and bedding, new yarn in bags; dishes); they threw out items being used (paint just purchased, shower rods), they damaged my property (tearing shelving off walls and scratching/gouging wooden floors) and removed items from the house and left them out (a heating/ac- unit from a sun-room), which then "disappeared", and damaged walls and floors. These are just my items as the homeowner; they also threw out items (linens, towels, bedding, clothing, etc.) belonging to my tenant and caused damage to her furniture. When they submitted a final bill for over $9,000, it included the following: (1) They neglected to include a deposit of $1,915 paid against my deductible and deduct that from\ the amount they claim I owe. (2) They charged me $5600+, which was paid to my tenant, under her insurance and her claim, and which I am not responsible for. (3) They charged me for windows which had been paid for by the insurance company. (4) They also did not deduct for items that had been approved by the insurance company and for which they had been paid, but which they had not performed, which resulted in an overpayment by me. When I disputed these items, Biltmore?s response was to tell me I was confused and to offer to send me videos and pictures. When I questioned why they thought I was confused and why they thought pictures would address my issues, they did not address any of the above mentioned issues, but instead threatened to file a lien against my property. I then told them to send the videos and asked them to hold off on any action. Instead, they sent a certified letter with notice of filing a lien against my property. About two weeks after that, one of their employees called my tenant and threatened her with a call to child protective services if this matter was not settled to their satisfaction.
