 + 0 moreThis was the second job that we have had John at April do at our house. In both cases I have been very pleased with him and his people. John came out and gave me an estimate to prepair the walls in the master bath without removing the wallpaper to be painted. The paper did have some bad areas were it was pulling loose. The paper was repaired and all paper seams were filled in and then sanded. There was a coat of oil based primer applied and then two coats of paint. At the same time all holes were patched. The job looks professional and we are pleased with the workmanship. The person that came to do the work was on time and worked to complete the job in the time quoted.
Description of Work: Prepare walls with wall paper and paint.

Description of Work: Showed up on time for estimate appointment. Asked all the right questions to accomplish my desired goal for the finished product. Gave me many choices and it was all about me and my needs. I was unsure about color and they sent a color consultant prior to commencing the job. I am color challenged and with her help I chose a color I would never have chosen on my own, especially standing in a line at Lowes. The price was fair.....I was not so concerned about price as I was concerned about quality,color, completion expediency and overall comfort with having strangers in my home. They helped me find a color, explained the quality of materials used. defined a time window and generally put me at ease. They met my expectations on every level, the crew was punctual on the day of service. John came by at the start of the job and defined all tasks to be accomplished by his crew to them and to me. They were unobtrusive, polite and completion oriented. There were several small additional trim items included at no additional charge that were not asked for in the original estimate. They cleaned up everything at the end of the job and had me appraise their work several times to be sure I was satisfied. They were proud of their work and wanted to be sure I was as pleased as they were. After months of indecision and misgivings in the approach of other painting companies I would have to say the experience was pleasant, professional and that they delivered everything they promised and more. This is a triple a + company in all regards and I recommend them highly.

 + 1 moreThey did a lot of repairs to the house along with painting. They were on time and punctual. They were fantastic. They were so quick and didn't waste a moment. My husband was very impressed and thrilled with them. There were things that were not in the original bid that we asked them to do, which they did. We had paid extra for it. They were really good.

They came out promptly, emailed me a very reasonable and detailed estimate on washing and painting the house and replacing gutters. I was impressed with the high quality of products they used. James, the estimator/supervisor was so easy to work with, and always prompt to return my calls. Pam, the color consultant, was also great to work with. She was very helpful and patient. John, the owner, was so courteous and accomodating, even when I had to reschedule twice. I thought the painters did a good job, including washing, calking, and some carpentry repairs. I have received compliments on the house and feel that I have received great value for the money spent.

He emailed the insurance information and the estimate, and then called to verify that I had received it. The work was done the following week. The crew showed up on time, John walked them through the job and they went to work. The interior wall was a perfect match. All work was beautifully done. We will use them again the next time we need painting done.
Description of Work: We wanted an area over the fireplace painted as an accent wall, with the color matched to a painting on another wall. We also needed touch-up work on some of the outside trim - it was beginning to split and peel.Once we agreed that April Painting would do the job, John came by and picked up the painting to get an exact match on the color.

John also sent me a copy of his liability insurance and certificates. Bob arrived on time and was extremely nice.He performed his job of repairing seams,removal and replacement of wallpaper with professionalism. We would definitely use them again
Description of Work: We called April Painting for an estimate, Bob Johnson Did the estimate for removal and replacement of wallpaper in two bathrooms and repairing seams in three bathrooms, Bob performed his job repairing the seams that were lifted up in the three bathrooms and removing and replacing the damaged wallpaper in two bathrooms. He did an excellent job.

 + 4 moreApril Painting came out on two occasions prior to scheduling the exterior painting of our home. The first visit was for an assessment and estimate of the work that needed to be done, including replacing rotten wood on our porch banister, boards on our back deck, rotten wood on our chimney as well as the plan for the exterior painting of our home and detached garage. The second visit was for color consultation, where I picked out colors that were complimentary to the style and aesthetic of our home. Once everything was decided and the deposit of 30% was paid, we were scheduled. The painters arrived promptly the first day to caulk and patch up areas that needed to be fixed as well as pressure washed the home to prep the exterior for painting. The second day they again, arrived promptly and began working. They worked until the sun went down. On the third day, they put the finishing touches on the front door and shutters as well as double checked to see if there were any areas that needed to be touched up. All in all, it was a very good experience from beginning to end and our home looks fresh and new!
Description of Work: Exterior painting of home and detached garage, replaced rotten wood on front porch banisters, replaced boards on back porch, replaced wood on the chimney and on the back door, and cleaned gutters.

 + -1 moreHe was wonderful. I think this company does many things. However, I used him because of the specialty. He may be a private contractor working for them. They were good. The work cost me about $2000 because there was a lot of custom work involved. I thought the price was reasonable for the work he did. I would recommend him highly. I did not have much interaction with the actual company. I would use the guy again without a doubt. He is very talented and very organized. He has a lot of great ideas. I would definitely use him again. I thought he was creative and a good problem solver. I did not know what I really wanted. He shared a lot of pictures with me. He was able to put together what I wanted and he was right. I will use him and the company in the future.
Description of Work: I used April Painting Co. Inc. He did a faux treatment for a powder room, two years ago.

After quoting, he was able to start the job within a couple of days. There was a quality issue with our paint and it streaked. April came out and fixed it with no hassles and free of charge to us. We will definitely use them again for our painting needs.

Their price was reasonable, but it wasn?t quite as good as the one I ended up selecting, but they were prompt. I would tell other members that they should definitely consider them as one of their options.

 + -1 moreKathy is the most incredabe person I have ever met. She is such a perfectionist that when she installed the backspalist she didn't like the adhesive so she got a different one and came back and fixed ir. Kathy was so gracious about the ton's of extra work I gave her and yet again se was professional. For example, she picked out the paint at Home Depot and amazingly it was the exact color I would have chosen. Then she was asked to pick up the curtain rod because I can't drive She found a beautiful one, again what I would have chosen. And she installed it. None of this was her job; again she as otally professional. I would definately use April Painting again. And I wold recommed higjly to anyone They are a gem!

The work is good and there were no problems with it. I am happy with the crew and the job that they did. I don't have anything negative to say about them.
Description of Work: April Painting painted the trim on my 3200 square foot stucco house. They had to do a little bit of scrapping and priming, but not much. They used Sherwin Williams paint.
