Accurate Fence

Job went well , original install date was moved out due to rain delays but they showed up on promised date and completed project same day. Note:I have used this co. in past and each time I had to negotiate down the original estimate.

The guys were great and the fence is beautiful - they did an excellent job and were very professional and prompt.

I was told in NO uncertain terms, Our minimum is $1000.00, Should have posted that in the Angie's listing !

Professionalism is lacking with this firm. Work was done as promised. Four or five months after its completion, I made a warranty claim. It has taken more than three months to resolve. #1) Wait – wait –wait – warranty work is not given any priority. The associate in charge of scheduling actually left me a voice mail stating this policy! #2) Scheduled an appointment to make the repairs and no one showed up nor did anyone call. I did receive a prompt apology once I called the next day asking why was I stood up. #3) Sent a repairman out who could make only one of two needed repairs – wrong supplies -- even though their procedure for warranty work requires a site visit and a written statement of work approved by me. #4) I came home from work one evening (June 2016) to find the second repair completed. I was pleased it was done after more than three months of waiting. I also felt violated because there was no scheduled appointment. I did consider complaining about the intrusion onto my property. However I suspected the complaint would fall on deaf ears because the owner has yet to answer my direct inquiry to him. As I started this review, professionalism is lacking with this firm and I cannot recommend.

Once we contacted Accurate Fence, an appointment for a quote was set up right away. The gentleman that provided the quote, was, at first, extremely responsive and professional. He responded to all of our questions almost immediately, which was very reassuring that we were dealing with a good company. Once we signed the contract and sent in 1/2 of the payment, the treatment changed. The same gentleman was supposed to come over and roughly stake out the property (which is standard) to make sure they wouldn't be hitting any utility lines. He would make appointments with us and then just not show up, no call or email. We would have to follow up with him. This made us very nervous, but everything ended up working out. The fence crew and delayed their installation date the night before the install; however, agreed to come over Saturday, the day before Easter, to install the fence. The installation crew was very professional, hardworking, friendly and very skilled at their job. They have fence building down to a science. We really like the way that the fence turned out.

Communication was fair. It seems I was always the one who had to call them, but then they would call me back- also I understand this is a busy time of year for them. They couldn't start on the day that was originally planned, but they did get the work done that week. Also, they told me that it would be a one day job, but it was actually two days- not a big deal since they told me I didn't have to be home, but at the same time I wasn't able to supervise. The fence, when completed was just okay. It was cut on my property so in many places the wood is rough, and I will need to sand especially around the gate where someone could get a splinter! They placed half (or even smaller strips of) planks in random places to fill in the gaps- and I'm not crazy about this look, although probably no one would even notice unless I pointed it out to them. Having said all this, they were by FAR the cheapest bid I got, so I feel like I can't really expect the highest quality. If cost is your biggest concern you should consider them, if you want quality and don't care as much about cost then maybe you should look elsewhere.

Jeff, the owner worked with us on the design and was very patient with us as we changed our mind several times concerning the type of wood fence. At one point we had a delay due to HOA approval. That did not faze Jeff in the least and we kept our place in his construction schedule. Once we obtained approval the fence was installed without a hitch. Post installation we decided modification of some of the fence posts would improve the looks of the fence. Even though this was a change to the original agreement, Jeff did the work at no extra cost. Jeff's operation manager Ricky was also very helpful throughout the project. The crew that did the actual work were very professional and courteous. All in all the project was very smooth and Jeff was very accommodating. can't imagine how the project could have been any easier.Everthing was done as agreed upon and as originally scheduled. I would absolutely use Accurate Fence again and would do so without any additional quotes from other companies.

Quality work; friendly professional folks.

The quote was a bit higher than the competition, but we wanted quality. The company had a good reputation and references. Only one man came to install the fence and he worked several hours a day for two consecutive days. We notice a couple of minor discrepancies, but he took care of them promptly. It stands as an attractive addition to our home and we were completely satisfied with the work performed.

I called to get an estimate on fencing in my back yard, and Jeff called me back promptly. He gave me all the details and costs the same visit when he came for the estimate. He was very understanding about our HOA policies. They did have to order the product, but that wasn't any different from the other estimates I got. Once the product had arrived, they were able to install it the next business day. The contractor was late, but got started immediately and worked constantly until they finished that day. The guys were professional and they did a great job. They didn't hesitate to answer any of my questions. Fence has a good warranty. I was very pleased with the job.

Fred Smith and Ricky Sullens have made sure every step of the way that I have been satisfied with the work and privacy their gates offer. I was initially unhappy with a 3 inch gap between the gate and the post, and they immediately developed a plan to eliminate that gap. They allow the customer to give input and opinions, and cater to every need or concern I've had.

It went wrong from the moment Ernie provided a bid on 8/12/13. He came to the house as planned, listened to what I wanted, walked the yard to investigate and left. No bid was received. I sent an email on 8/26/13 asking for it and was met with "Oh, I thought I sent that." When it was received it was not correct -- left off things I requested (only to find out they don't stain decks) and had the information all wrong. I explained and received another bid. For some reason I didn't cease service at that time since I felt the bid was high for what I requested but since I don't speak "fence" I assumed he was accurate. Once I booked the job and gave a 50% deposit the no-shows and cancellations started. First appt. was cancelled -- I had taken the day off work. Second appt. was a no show -- I had taken the day off work. Third appt. was for 9:30a -- I had taken a day off work -- they arrived at 3:00p and at that point I was done! The CONTRACTOR that arrived to do the job got an earfull (poor guy) and in walking around the yard explained to me what had been ordered (I needed 2 posts replaced) and the bid showed 15! I cancelled the job and called Accurate Fence to let them know I would be disputing the charge for the deposit on my credit card bill that was due in two days. I received a call from the office within minutes asking me not to dispute it and that a check would be in my mailbox on Wednesday. You guessed it! No check as promised so I disputed the charge. The check showed up on Thursday so I marked return to sender and put it in the mailbox. There is nothing I like better than GOOD customer service but there was nothing to be found in this experience. 2 months wasted, fence still in disrepair and now I have to start the entire process all over with another company.

Great customer service by the on-site estimator. The two carpenters were highly skilled and quick, constructing the fence in four hours start to finish. My complaints are that once I paid half of the quote as a down payment, I didn't hear from the scheduler at all. After a week, I finally had to make the call to make sure my fence was scheduled and that I wasn't swindled. The other is the miscommunication between the office and the carpenters, as the fence was being constructed with a stepped pattern. Luckily I got this corrected early in the framing.

I contacted Accurate Fence and there was some reluctance to sending a representative out to take measurements until I informed them I received a referral from Angie's List. It was then that I was informed the lowest quote would be $750.00 and asked if I was still interested?? I responded yes, as I/m in the process of obtaining quotes and would decide on the company selected to perform the work at a later date. They're scheduled to come out on 7/11/2013 at 8:00am.

Accurate Fence was on time, they gave me the quote right away. Everything was done frankly. They did a great job.

The installers were a little late to arrive but they completed the installation of the fence was completed in by early afternoon as agreed upon by both parties. All tools were removed and the work area was cleaned up. Accurate Fence was easy to deal with and answered all of my questions. They called back the following Monday to see if we had any problems or concerns which we did not have. I will be using them again.

I got three bids and theirs was the middle bid. Two of my neighbors used them and had wonderful things to say. They did what they said they would, they did it on time, and for the cost they quoted.

The sales reps for Accurate fence arrived and offered fantastic customer service. They were very personable and professional. If the decision had not already been made to move forward with another service provider because of time constraints it is likely we would have chosen Accurate Fence.

I called for estimate on residential fencing project and spoke with someone who took my information and said I would be contacted shortly. It has been one week and I have not received a call.

I requested a quote for my fence project. The company was only available to do measurements M-F 8a-5p and would not work to accommodate my scheduling needs. They did offer a quote based on measurements from another company. I received the requested quote, but decided to use a different company for the project because their customer service was less than desirable.

It went Fabulously!! They showed up on time. They went above and beyond and did a wonderful job!

The two workers showed up middle afternoon so they could finish after I got home from work around 4 pm. I was impressed with their skill. Very little measuring, just marking and cutting. The gates look great and they even went two extra steps to to be sure my dog would not be tempted to put the bottom of the double gate by installing a slide bolt, and put a stop block on the 5' gate to ensure it could not give way to the outside. They installed the other plexiglass piece, and my dogs and I are happy. I look forward to mowing the back yard with a zero turn mower now, as it will greatly reduce my trimming time.
